Reviews of local pros in Austin, Texas

After a hurricane came through, we found out our roof had a leak that wasn't brought to our attention when we bought our home. Austin roofing reviewed to damage and made suggestions for correction. I accepted and they made everything perfect and water tight! I would definitely use them again.

Often times I've experienced poor service, poor quality, and lack of professionalism when seeking home improvement services. However, I was very pleased to have stumbled upon Austin Roofing and Construction. The estimate was very fair and reasonable and the estimator didn't try to upsell me or try to get insurance involved when it wasn't necessary. Integrity is everything to maintain loyal customers and future success. Thank you for the great roof repair! I was pleasantly surprised to also find out they donate roofs to help build homeless communities around the Austin area. I didn't know this until after the work was completed. I highly recommend this company for any of your future roof concerns.

My friend referred me to Austin Roofing and Construction for a roof replacement after we had hail damage, and they did not disappoint. From my first call with Luis we felt confident about the decision to go with them. Luis instilled a sense of confidence and honesty in the initial conversations and they did what they said they were going to do. Everyone took pride in the work that they were doing And I got the sense that the company was well run and employees were treated well. I noticed that the materials they use seem to be of high quality relative to some of the new roofs that I’ve seen in my neighborhood. They were responsive to every inquiry that I had and I never felt that we were left waiting for answers. I would use them again and highly recommend them.

I couldn't be happier with the service provided by this roofing company. Luis went above and beyond to address all my questions and concerns about materials and installation techniques, taking the time to meet with me personally. Not only did they stick to their schedule and budget, but they also subcontracted the tricky job of removing and reinstalling my gutters, ensuring everything was done to my satisfaction despite a few hiccups along the way. Plus, it's awesome to know that they give back to the community by donating a portion of their profits to a local nonprofit. Highly recommend these guys for their expertise and their heart!

I have hired Austin Roofing for several projects. Tim is honest, knowledgeable, and does excellent work. We had one portion of the project that has been a real technical challenge and Tim was excellent in not giving up and getting it right. That is the true test of a great services company. FYI I use Tim for metal roofs. Highly recommend them.

We are pleased with our new standing seam metal roof from Austin Roofing and Construction. We were grateful to have had Luis C as our project manager because he was both a transparent and excellent communicator who kept us informed of the schedule and next-steps. He also listened to our questions and/or concerns throughout the entire process in an open way and addressed each one. Also, the demo and install teams were professional and respectful of our property and cleaned up and left the site clean each day.

The Austin Roofing crew came in and replaced our roof all within a single day. They did great work and made sure to clean up well after themselves. Definitely recommend!

Luis did a great job of providing the detailed quote, took pictures around the area where the leak might occur and also arranged the repair. We were lucky that the technician came and repaired a day before the rain started, so we can see whether the repair was done right the next day.
After the repair, they sent over photos documenting the repair and they were able to get it done in about 3 hours efficiently

In October of 2021 we had Austin Roofing and Construction give us an estimate for a Tesla roof and a conventional shingle roof. The Tesla roof was way out of our league, but their shingle roof was more affordable than their competition that was canvasing the neighborhood after the hail storm. We checked references which were good and verified that they were not a fly by night roofing company. They were able to find a company that removed our outdated solar panels at a considerable savings. Our roof was put on in a timely manner with multiple checks from supervisors after the initial install. At this point three years later, we have no complaints and no leaks.

Happy with all aspects of this company. Luis came to the rent house and took pictures and showed me the need for a new roof. It was apparent that a new roof was needed. Luis was always available to answer my questions. Had four companies bid on a roof replacement. Austin Roofing gave me the best price. The roof replacement was started and completed on the same day. A few days later, the roof was inspected by Nick. Was pleased with all aspects of this company. Have other houses and will give Austin Roofing full consideration to do another roof replacement.

We had a small leak in the roof, and Luis identified the problem right away, plus a few other items that needed to be addressed to prevent other problems in the future. The team was responsive, available, and prompt in scheduling the repair and getting the work done. We have used this company before for an unrelated roof issue and would recommend them to others.

We were very pleased with the work performed on our house by Austin Roofing. We had a full roof replacement plus gutter replacement, pergola repair, deck repair, and garage doors replaced. Luis was the Austin Roofing representive who coordinated all the work. He was very helpful reviewing the paperwork needed to file and monitoring the work being performed. He was always available if we had questions and very easy to work with on re-scheduling the work around several things we had to attend to. His workers were always on time.

Do not hire Austin Roofing and Construction unless you want a no shows, reschedules, and perpetually leaky roof.

I hired them to fix a slope on the roof. Initially, their subcontractors did the complete wrong job, not fixing slope whatsoever. I understand that mixups happen so I was patient. Then after multiple no-shows and one time they showed up when we couldnt do the job, they did work and claimed the job was complete. They did not put back the tiles, left trash all over the balcony, and tracked all sorts of mud in the house. I could live with this, but the next time it rained, water poured through the roof. Prior to them working on the roof, there was no water pouring through ever, so they literally made the problem worse. Their employee and someone who appears to be the head of their subcontracting crew came out and each had a different opinion on what the problem was. They claimed to have fixed the issue and offered to paint over the damaged part their leak caused. Already this was a terrible experience but i was patient hoping they would fix the issue.

I paid the remaining invoice, but in the latest rain storm water came pouring through on multiple locations. I have really tried to be patient because I understand that home services is a tough business but at this point I cannot trust them and their cheap subcontractors to complete the job properly. And I have no idea how much mold and rot there is in my ceiling as a result of their shoddy work

These guys are truly phenomenal. The whole process was really smooth and I do have a lot to compare with. Not only they were fast, efficient, courteous all through, they also double checked their work and fixed a small defect that appeared as a result of carrying out during hot Texas weather. I mean people do that? I don’t have to check and then contact the company, show and explain blah blah blah. Wow, that raises the bar for other contractors for sure. All this plus they are involved in a charity project, these guys are gold

We selected Austin Roofing and Construction for our roof and Deck repairs.
Billy was prompt on meeting with us and reviewing our requirements.
Their Bid was competitive with the two others and we accepted it

Antonio and crew were on time, cleaned up each day and discussed what was being done.

A-true 5* company to trust

Very pleased with my roof replacement by Austin Roofing and Construction. Adrian was extremely helpful in answering my questions upfront and provided a sound quote. Nick was a excellent project manager running the job from start to finish and was very thorough on the post inspection which I appreciated. I definitely recommend this company to take care of your roofing needs. They are top notch!

I needed some roof vents replaced and had trouble getting a response from another company. I found Austin roofing to be responsive and did quality work.

They did an awesome job AND moved super fast and coordinated with the insurance company to ensure it was quick and easy for me.

Had a great experience from beginning to end with Austin Roofing and Construction. My main POC was Luis - he did a free inspection to check out my roof damage and sent me drone photos. Then he gave me recommendations and options of going thru an insurance claim vs fixing out of pocket. He was very knowledgeable and reliable. Gave me a better quote than another company I had reached out to. I was able to schedule the repair 3 days later and was sent drone photos again after everything was done. Thank you!

Great communication, totally professional and a beautiful roof installation. I would choose Austin Roofing & Construction every time!

This is the third time I have hired them to work on my home. They have done some siding and trim repairs, replaced the roof, and, this time, helped with a painting project and some repairs. I also had some trim and structure beams that were rotting. They fixed them so I won't have to worry about future issues. Their crews are knowledgeable, courteous, and pleasant to work with. They showed up when they said they would and completed the project on schedule.
Austin Roofing and Construction is a company you can trust; they are local, so when you have questions or concerns, they are able to come out to look at them and also warranties concerns. I like that they are family owned and they also will give back to the community.
