I am planning to have a solar system installed and have discussed my requirements with several companies. I have been most impressed by ATX Solar’s presentation, analysis, and proposal. Caleb came to the house and spent 90 minutes with me, answering all my questions and sharing his insights. I highly recommend them.

Recently had a panel issue. I contacted Jake at ATX Solar. Turns out squirrels had made a nest under one of my panels. Joel and Daniel came out and were amazing. Completely cleaned out under the panel and replaced the inverter and the wiring that had been gnawed on. Friendly and thorough. Thank you Jake and your team.

Exceptional Service, Start to Finish!

I had an incredible experience with ATX Solar for my solar panel installation. From the very beginning, their entire team was consistently helpful, professional, and attentive to detail.

Before installation, a storm damaged my roof. I initially tried handling the roofing repairs and insurance myself but faced a lot of runaround with unresponsive contractors and insurance delays. What should have been a straightforward process ended up taking three extra months. Thankfully, Elijah, the Service Manager, stepped in with a recommendation for a reliable roofing contractor and made sure the rest of the project went smoothly.

Caleb, my salesperson, was amazing from start to finish. He helped me get set up before installation, stayed in touch throughout the process, and even assisted me with finding a buyback program that has saved me so much on my bills. Jake, the Project Manager, kept the installation on track and made sure everything was done right.

The entire team’s attention to detail really stood out. The crew cleaned up at the end of each day, provided thorough walkthroughs, and explained every step of the process. I always knew exactly who to talk to if I had any questions, and communication was clear and proactive.

ATX Solar didn’t just stop at installation. Because they can monitor the panels remotely, they noticed an issue with one of the panels and proactively came out to fix it before I even realized there was a problem.

Absolutely impressed with ATX Solar. Not only were they professional and responsive the first time they installed my 40-panel system, but they really rose to the challenge when the Great Hail of 2023 destroyed all but 6 of my panels. They worked with me, my insurance company, and the roofers and made it all as painless as possible. So glad to see my panels powering my entire house with 2 EVs. And the price was very competetive with the other highly-rated companies I got quotes from. I would 100% recommend them, and already have. Pics show after the hail storm and after final (re) installation.

The ATX Team does incredible work! From beginning to end, with my consultation with Amin Jooma, to planning and documentation/permitting with Jake Hernandez, to install with Joel, they have been incredibly professional, quick, and reasonable. They thoroughly explained how any federal/local credits/rebates work and guide you through the process. They also have a great loan option if you choose to go that route! Their pricing is very reasonable, especially for the system you get. Look up “ATX Solar Reddit” and you will find a bunch of solar nerds talking up their system, because it really is a very good system. The whole process has been very easy and I’m very glad to have chosen them!

They were very prompt with the entire service, they thoroughly explained everything to me and I am excited to see how everything works in the future. Elijah Nava and the installation team were very helpful and professional. Caleb Spencer did a great job explaining everything to me to help me go solar.

Pros:
1. Sales Rep was knowledgable and easy to talk to.
2. ATX Solar handled everything. I only had to sign documents throughout the whole process. Getting panels installed was relatively turn-key. For context I live within an HOA and required permitting.
3. Installation team was extremely efficient. The entire installation phase was 2 days. The installation is very clean, no exposed conduit, panels are oriented, in what I believe is an attractive pattern, everything is straight and pleasing to the eyes.
4. REC Certified. Because this installer is REC certified, this extends the panel warranty from 20 years to 25 years.

Cons:
1. Lengthy, the process was relatively long, about 3 months from start to finish. Not a big deal, but I assume your mileage will vary depending on permitting requirements.
2. Expensive: I purchased the REC 405 Pure Alphas's with IQ8PLUS-72-2-US micro inverters. Total cost was about $3.30 per Watt. According to energysage the average price for these panels is about 3.16, with lower and upper bound at $2.51 and $3.76 respectively. Having looked at my neighbors installations it's clear to me that ATX solar is an above average installer, so I'm actually fine with the small premium for what appears to great premium in terms of quality.

All in all I'm pretty happy with the result. I absolutely would do business with ATX solar again.

I want to mention again that the install team did a wonderful job. I'm posting pictures of the installation.

I had a fantastic experience working with ATX Solar and getting a new solar system installed for my home! The deal was very solid and they are using very reliable hardware, have a great warranty, and great customer service. Squared away company, not afraid to take on big tasks, when and if issues arrive they are always on top of it with top notch problem solving skills. Clean and seamless installations with battery backup mainly for whole home but partial backup is an option to.
