Not very happy with the service. Everyone that I spoke to over the phone was very polite and nice however the representative that came out Thomas was not nice was very argumentative and short with me. I had to contact the office to get his name because he refused to tell me. He was trying to convince me that a water heater set to vacation mode is still going to heat to 130° all the time and that that's normal even though every piece of literature I've looked at says that is not normal and would be a bad thermostat. So according to this logic all the warning stickers on the water heater telling you to set the thermostat to below 125 to prevent scalding would be impossible. I have a 5 year old and the whole reason I called for service was because the water heater was heating the water to 140° even though it was set to vacation mode which is dangerous and wasteful. The manufacturer even agreed to replace the thermostat because of that however he seemed to change his story from one thing to the other because he wanted to be right. It worries me because since they are doing warranty work for AO smith water heaters if an elderly had work that should be covered by warranty this representative stating false information could jeopardize a coverable item not being repaired or lead to scalding injuries or death because of misinformation which is very unprofessional. I think this company has a lot of potential and I had asked them to give me a quote on something else that I would need fixed but because of this interaction I would prefer use a different company.

Great service! Know what they are doing. Repeat customers, and make sure you ask about estimates as prices change over the years. Just my own feedback as a repeat customer. Thankfully, this company always makes sure their work is 100! We will continue to use their service. Thank you for a job well done.

We had two people coming to fix a loose screw on the water heater, the garbage disposal and the gas fire place. The first two issues were handled quickly, but they couldn't fix the fireplace right away which was fine, it happens. What was not nice is, that was a week ago and Hawkeye hasn't gotten back to us on the issue. He said he needed to check with the manufacturer re. warranty and parts. Yet nothing back yet. The other issue was, that neither one cared for the cleanliness of their shoes coming into the house. A little more care or concern would have been appreciated.

Had a gas leak. Atmos energy turned my gas offbecause of leak. They recommended Hawkeye plumbing to do repairs. I called them immediately and they came out the next morning. They went straight to work determing where the leak was. Naturally in the worst place itcoild be under the house. They found the location made the repairs and were gone within 4 hours after arriving . Total cost $1,020 but they also gave me a 20% discount through atmos. If i have any plimbing problems in the future they will be my first call

Hawkeye Plumbing did a great job getting our water heaters replaced. Showed up on time and got the job done quickly. Nice to have piping hot water again! I definitely recommend them and special shoutout to Myles for a job well done!
