Herschel and his partner did a fantastic job! They worked diligently through the pouring rain to resolve my issue. I can't recommend this company enough. I will be a forever customer.

From the very 1st call his company was extremely friendly and very responsive. They came within a few hours and fixed it pretty quickly. The price was fair and the 2 men that came we very knowledgeable. I will definitely use this company for all my plumbing needs.

I’ve used Big blade several times in the past. Called them Friday (holiday weekend) not expecting help until next week. Someone was here within an hour. They were very knowledgeable and had us taken care quickly. This is why I’ll never call anyone else. They never disappoint! Reasonable prices too!

Curly's Big Blade just fixed a slab leak for me plus several other issues that have needed to be replaced/repaired. Nicest people you could ever hope to deal with. Ryan, Chase and Alvin did a great job and with such an upbeat attitude despite this horrible heat they are having to contend with. They were fast but thorough, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would not hesitate to use them again. Thank you guys so much!

I own my own business. I know how hard it can be to always try and have good customer service. I never even leave reviews... but this deserves one. Called them... very nice on the phone and didn't act like I was bothering them. Did exactly what they said they would do... when they said they would do it. We're at my house within 45 min of my call. Very professional and fixed my plumbing issue at a fair price. It was a breath of fresh air in today's world. Good company!!!

Plumber was Mason and was assisted by John. Both men were professional. Mason quickly accomplished the job of switching out a garbage disposal making adjustments to the pipes and cleaning up the site. Thank you for your timely response and work.

I have called this service twice on an emergency basis. Both times they were at my home within 2 hours, after hours. They caped of the leak and had water to the rest of the house for the night. Both times work was completed quickly and professionally within a few days. The second time I had a small issue with how they finished the work. They were very responsive in sending a supervisor to remedy the problem. I recommend Big Blade 100%.

Big Blade employees, Dewayne and Herschel, came out the same day that I called. They were courteous and professional and solved a long term blockage problem in my kitchen. There was an attempt to solve the problem before the holidays that didn’t work. The second visit (impressively, at NO additional charge) was successful. I wholeheartedly recommend this local company as a business that will work with you until the problem is solved.

I’ve been waiting a few days and contemplated writing this review letting myself process this situation and decided that I should put this out there.

The worst plumber / company / customer service ever! They will pry on innocent people to gain business. DO NOT USE & RUN. Called for a service call and they were dishonest about their rate. That should have been a red flag. How does this company have a 4.5 star review? Overpriced & unreasonable.

They are so rude when asking questions on breakdowns of prices and procedure as to what is being done. They said “my job is to fix/repair the plumbing, not sit and answer a bunch of questions.”

I got multiple quotes after the process was started to find out they charged double the price. I stupidly decided to still go through since it already started and just wanted it completed. Biggest regret was not backing out right there right then. If I am going to be overpaying, I expect you to answer every question to make sure. If I am paying a premium, don’t act like your time is too precious when I am literally paying a premium for your time.

It was obvious that they were threatened because I asked about pricing/procedure because they thought they could just get away with ripping innocent people off. If I’m asking questions, obviously you have to give explicit instructions on the next steps. Obviously not everybody knows how to deal with gas lines. It is a professional’s job to also break it down.

Plumber told me “obviously this is your first time being a landlord.” If he’s going to talk like this, fine, because I also have some words for you, Mr Mason the “plumber.” Obviously, he wasn’t a very good plumber, probably his first day on the job because it took him 4 days to locate a leak. Oh and by the way, not my first time being a landlord, actually my third. 🙂 Never had a problem until now!

They will leave you running without gas for days without a care in the world. The miscommunication is ridiculous. Nothing is constant, not the price, service, and communication. There was no communication updates given initially. I had to chase them down multiple times to even get an update in the beginning.

Now I’m in the hole for $3K on a process that cost $800-$1200 ($1200 being the highest bid that I received). Honestly, they have made my week miserable. Get off your high horse and run a real business.

By the way, I don’t write bad reviews nor do I like to, check my history. For me to write this 1 bad review should speak volumes.

I experienced several issues with this plumbing company during an urgent gas line leak repair:

Delayed Response: The repair took several days, which was inefficient for an urgent issue.

Professionalism: The plumber, Mason, was rude and unprofessional, dismissively commenting on my management skills.

Pricing and Transparency: Their charges were significantly higher than other quotes without justification or clear itemization, showing inconsistency in pricing.

Poor Communication: Mason avoided questions and lacked communicative clarity, focusing instead on rushing back to work.

In summary, the service was marked by unprofessionalism, inconsistent pricing, poor communication, and delayed action.

We have gotten to where we used Big Blade for our rental house plumbing needs. They have always been punctual and are a little higher, but we’ve been willing to sacrifice that for dependability. Recently I had them out at a rental that had a leaky shower, backup in a sink and the washer leaked according to my tenant. After the guys came and fixed it, I was charged $420. Initially I thought quite a bit of work had been done. I called about it the next week and my tenant told me they replaced the shower cartridge, ran a snake down a sink and installed two water hoses on the washing machine. The repairman told me the sink was draining properly. My question to Big Blade was, do you think $420 was a little high for replacing a shower cartridge, snaking a sink that wasn’t backed up and installing two water hoses on a washing machine that leaked? BTW, it still leaks…. They assured me that $420 was actually a discounted price. My tenant said that the repairman actually spent over an hour getting the cartridge at Lowe’s which is 10 minutes away and probably spent way less than an hour actually ‘fixing’ the issues. I will NEVER use them again and will share my experience with anyone who asks.

After reading the response I have tried probably no fewer than 10 times to reach the owner. I have not had a return call. The office lady seems nice.

I recognized the quality of this organization the minute they answered my call. They exceeded expectation from initial contact to job completion. It has been a truly exceptional service experience and it came in an hour of dire need. Reno calmly and efficiently diagnosed our issue and scheduled service. Repairs were expertly executed and finalized within 2 days. Reno is a credit to his profession.

These people are absolutely the best.
I had a problem with my hot water heater that they had installed the year before.
I could not get hot water to the faucets.
Spoke with Curly on the phone, he looked at my account and had me check the batteries in by Flood stop.
Bingo!!!!! Hot water to the faucets.

We had nightmare plumbing emergency night before July 4th. Mason came straight out at 7pm and got it temporarily fixed so we could have water (older home so only main cutoff) and then came back Friday morning and got it all replaced! Great guy thanks so much Mason! Will definitely call them if we need future work!

Mason was able to come fairly early in the day which was a life saver. He explained everything and gave me the quote upfront. Work was done quickly and would definitely use again. He was also very very nice. So was his assistant.

Jacob and Randy came after hours and worked hard to unstop a tub and toilet issue that had overflowed. They were super nice and very profesional and came on short notice. They were here within a couple of hours when everyone else we called gave us at least a 3 day wait. The price was very reasonable for late hours. We will definitely call them again if we have any future issues. Thank you guys.
