Terrible Experience – Avoid This Company!

I’m extremely disappointed with Kiwi Carpet Cleaning. As a first-time customer, I expected professionalism, but instead, I got nothing but frustration. I took time off work to be available for their scheduled appointment between 12 pm and 2 pm on Friday. Then, at 1:30 pm—just 30 minutes before the window closed—they called to reschedule for Saturday.

The problem? I’m going out of town on Saturday and can’t be home for the service. They didn’t bother to give me any advance notice that this might happen, leaving me scrambling with no solution. To make matters worse, they didn’t offer any alternatives or compensation for the inconvenience.

I rearranged my entire day, wasted valuable time. This company clearly has no respect for their customers’ time or schedules. Unreliable, unprofessional, and completely inconsiderate. I will never use Kiwi Carpet Cleaning again, and I strongly recommend others avoid them too!

Had Kiwi pick up a large wool living room rug, approximately 15 x 17 feet from my home. Kiwi picked it up, cleaned and returned to me in the time promised. Loved their service so much I am going to have them do my carpets next. Very friendly and efficient, I highly recommend.

I recently had Kiwi Carpet Cleaning Services clean my two-bedroom apartment, and I couldn't be happier with the results! Their team was prompt, professional, and thorough. My carpets look brand new, and the whole apartment feels refreshed. I highly recommend Kiwi for their outstanding service!

Hello Everyone I would like to share my companies experience with Kiwi Services. We called about 4 companies along with Kiwi Services and Kiwi gave us the better deal. I met with the crew on a Friday at our location and showed what was needed to be done. The crew was very professional and courteous. They were prompt and worked in a timely matter. You have to understand that our carpet had a lot of stains and we all were very impressed with the job they did. I would highly recommend their services to other companies and yes we will be calling them again.

I’ve been using Kiwi for over 10 years in a few of our homes and they’ve always done a great job at removing carpet stains, like makeup from my teenager and dog odors. They are friendly and professional. I’ve recommended them to several of our clients as you can’t beat their warranty program! We love the fresh and clean smell in our home and that new carpet feel when they finish.

I had service done today for my oldest daughter room who hade make up everywhere stuck in the carpet. I also had my steps done which gum was stuck in the carpet. Michael was my technician he is detailed a 5/5 thank you

I have been using Kiwi Services for more than 5yrs. I am very pleased with them.. I look forward to them coming out and cleaning my carpets. The techs are always friendly and helpful. They leave the carpers smelling fresh and clean. I am so glad i found them and stopped cleaning my carpets myself. I can have them come out as often as i need them too. I like that they are affordable.

I have been a long time client of Kiwi carpet
cleaning, for over 10 years! We have two dogs and I love that I could get their warranty service and whenever I needed them, they were always available in a timely manner to clean my carpets. They always did their very best to get out any stains/spots, and I have always been satisfied with their service. Their service providers have always been professional, and very courteous. I just scheduled another year of warranty service. I highly recommend!

Kiwi is the only carpet cleaning company I will use! My carpets are always thoroughly cleaned and the spots do not come back. I love the year warranty, and they are always happy to come back out to re-clean for a minimal fee. The last time we used them, the technician was very experienced and said he'd been cleaning carpets for many years. That was reassuring! He was on-time and did a great job!

I requested rug services on 7/20/21. They told me it would be 2 weeks for it to be cleaned. My rug was dropped off 7/29 and it looked the exact same as it did before. There were even particles of dirt/trash that I pulled out of the rug. I had them pick it up for a redo 7/30. Just received the rug back today, and still have the same issue. I see nor feel any difference and was able to pull more stuff out. I do not recommend this company at all.

They had my rug for months - first a cleaning then waiting for repair. It was returned soiled and now it is completely disintegrating. It was obviously mis stored and I am concerned it was retuned with rug eating moths

The company came to pick up my rug and I specified over and over THIS IS CONTAMINATED
They arrive ZERO prepared. I had to supply the covering for the rug.
So be prepared - if your had your rug picked up in January- your rug could be contaminated- WELCOME TO KIWI INFECTION CONTROL

3 week later: holidays have been among us - I was asked to wait till after to hear from the rug expert…
Radio silence
Emailed - oh your rug is in quarantine and we treated it as a customer courtesy- it will be 650$ to repair it (we worked to reduce that from 800$)

Why wasn’t I notified prior to treatment - why did you treat without permission assuming I would pay you to repair what you damaged?!

Response:Larva hatch within 2-3 weeks of eggs being laid on a rug, I see we delivered the rug back in July and we heard about this issue in December. In all honesty this is would have been prevalent in the rug back in August if it was due to our center. In addition, I checked our records and we had no cases of rugs coming into our facility during the time your rug was in our care of moth issues nor did we have any other cases reported to us

Attention!! You are expected to be a rug expert by Kiwi!!! You are expected to know within 2-3 week they damaged your rug.
Research up prior to dealing with this “company”

It’s been over 60 days where the accountant and manager Elizabeth stated in email a refund was being processed. She gave excuses for holiday delays and stated in email the refund would be processed the week on 01/16/2023. No refund as of 02/07/2023 and no response from Elizabeth via telephone or email. And, customer service representative states she is not allowed to transfer me or provide information for Elizabeth’s manager or area manager for resolution.

I didn’t have a good experience with an 8’ x 8’ area rug cleaning. I received the rug back after the initial pickup and there was some white fuzz on it, so I vacuumed it and the carpet appeared to have been deodorized, but not cleaned. There was quite a bit of dust and dog fur. I called in, spoke with a representative and forwarded pictures of the dirt/dust and dog fur after vacuuming and a redo pick up was scheduled. The turnaround time was a week shorter for the redo. The carpet looked bright, but I hadn’t seen it recently and there were no issues with it, so I thought all was good. I vacuumed it to be sure and there was more dirt and dog fur with original taped instructions and manufacturer paper label still intact and unchanged. I genuinely believe the carpet sat somewhere for a week untouched. It’s a shame, because I wanted to support a local business, instead of, a big box company. Support personnel were respectful and apologetic over the telephone and by email, but results are what matter. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Life lesson learned.

Not worth the money. I had 2 rugs cleaned and they brought them back no issues. Was finally able to roll them out and place them where I needed them and found that they were not cleaned very well. In fact they look like they just got vacuumed. The stains are still there and now im having to send them back out again to get cleaned. I will never use Kiwi for anything.

Kiwi Services is the best!!! Korey has now cleaned our carpet two times and he is efficient and friendly. I spoke to Roy on the phone to schedule our next cleaning and he was so kind, informative, and personable. Don’t look anywhere else for great services and a job well done!!!!
