Was referred to Dr. HVAC, needed to replace a 21 year old AC system. Got 4 different estimates from 4 different companies. When I looked at the estimate from Dr HVAC I was shocked and started to laugh..
There bid was 22,100.00. I couldnt believe it the next closest bid to them was 5,700.00 for the same work. That's more then 3 times the amount of the next highest bid. I know were all hurting for work because of covid but this is price gouging at its worst. If they didn't want to do the job they should have just said so. I give them 1 star because I had to select that to write the review.
Be careful with companies taking advantage of others during this time of hardship for so many.

DR HVAC answered my call and came over right away with an estimate. The price was right and the work was outstanding. Thanks Richard for your honesty and dedication. We look forward to working with you all in the future.

I first called on a Saturday and Richard was there in no time and fixed the problem in no time.... then something else went wrong and he returned and checked my whole system and gave me a lot of AC knowledge on a silly mistake on my end with closed vents, and fixed the problem immediately once again. I then asked him what do I owe him and his response was I’m not here to nickel and dime you..... that was such a kind jesture he could have charged me an arm and a leg for something so simple with a mistake on my behalf, but he didn’t.... thank you so much for being such a ginuine company...Will recommend to any of my friends and family!!!!

Great HVAC company these guys really know what they are doing. They are very personal and shoot you straight. They answered all my questions and explained everything in terms I could understand. In fact I was so impressed they take care of the HVAC at my business as well.

Richard showed up early and was professional, showed intetest in helping me save money. He fixed my heater problem and the invoice was surprisingly low.I willuse them again

Outstanding service. David came out on a Sunday diagnosed the problem and after telling us it might take a few days to get the part, went back to the office and brought back a portable A/C that was a lifesaver in this Texas heat. I would highly recommend David and DR HVAC.

Isaac performed PM services for the cooling system on two units on March 26, 2024 in preparation for the upcoming summer. He is very polite and checks everthing thoroughly. Richard is knowledgeable, trustworthy , responsive, polite , and very good at what he does. We had him come out for a clogged drain that was causing the overflow pan to drip. He gave us suggestions on how to prevent future issues and took care of what we needed above and beyond . We highly recommend Dr HVAC.

Mustafa was a great help! Along with Richard and Craig, they replaced parts of my hvac unit and now it works as it's supposed to! They arrived on time and made sure they were leaving the place clean.

I really have nothing to complain about. They were quick with a response. He was professional, and knowledgeable.He found the problem in a very short amount of time, and best of all, he gave me the knowledge that I need going forward as a homeowner. That’s worth every penny to me. It’s the only place I will call now if I need anything. So if you’re nervous about calling an AC repair company, don’t be. Just call them.

David came today to replace our unit and did a fantastic job. So glad a friend of ours recommended Dr hvac. He is a genuine and honest man he took the time to explain everything and our options . Thanks again David you guys are great!

Richard came out and fixed my AC on a Sunday, which was a major relief. He was quick, polite, professional, and fun to talk to - and he made sure the heat worked too, because this is Texas and we need both in the winter. He didn't mind me following around asking questions, and I learned a lot about how air conditioning works, which will be helpful in making sure I don't kill it again. Thanks!

Richard is totally awesome. Has fixed a couple of AC issues for me over the years and also takes care of my HVAC maintenance for me. A really honest guy who does a great job. He’s also super friendly and courteous. Cannot recommend him enough.

First off, our outside unit was making a terrible noise and I called late in the evening and someone answered and was at our home within the half hour. Our technician Richard was very quick and knowledgeable. He took one look at it and knew what the issue was almost immediately. He explained everything in full detail and said what it is that could happen and what needed to happen in order for our a.c. to be up and running again.

The main thing I want to point out here is even though he mentioned the advantages of getting a new system, in no way shape or form did he push us to do something we didn't want to do. He simply laid out ALL the options available and educated me on the pros and cons of each.

After we decided on what was right for us, he took the parts so it would help identify what he needed and came back the next evening. The job was done in less then 30 mins.

I can tell Richard has ethics and works exceptionally hard. I am glad there is a company that still practices this. They are even willing to work with you on financing your payments if you don't have the budget for your repairs or install.

Hands down best experience I have had with a company like this. Strongly recommended.

After feeling I was getting swindled by a previous AC company, I called Dr. HVAC for a second opinion. They were able to see me on the same say! The technician was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was impressed with the lengths he went to in order to get the problem solved. He solved the problem and saved me from spending the $3000 the other company was trying to charge me! I'm so impressed-- honesty and integrity. That's what you'll find by using them.

These guys were awesome. Saved us lots of money on our repair by finding a way to warranty a part that no other company could. They didn't have to do it, but they did. Very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. I highly recommend these guys to anyone needing HVAC service or repair.
