Where to begin. We have a Rheem Prestige Tankless Gas Hot Water Heater. Because CC water is so hard, we have to have it flushed and the filter cleaned about every 6 months. Really 3 times per year. We had several plumbers out to do this over the years. Recently we had a reputable company here come by for the flush. The next day we kept getting an Error code for a leak. The company that flushed it, was so defensive when we called they wouldn't even come back. I didn't even say they caused the leak. I doubt they did anything that could cause a leak. So I called another reputable plumber. They came out and could not find the leak and gave me an estimate for 5000+ for a new fancy tankless. Called plumber 3, one of the biggest companies in town, he came on the weekend and seemed to know more. Unfortunately, he could not find the leak and could not speak with Rheem, they are only open on M-F 8-5. All of these plumbers charged me 230-500 dollars to come out and diagnose the problem, even though none of them found the problem. The emergency plumber stayed two hours on the roof and in the attic and could never find anything. To their defense, it is a tiny little drip that is occurring. The sensor for moisture is very, very sensitive. All of them gave us a quote for a new one. All are super high. I know that our tankless cost around 1700 and it was literally purchased in 2018. Doesn't say much for Rheem.

Fast forward to today. Lamar Plumbing's Susan answered my call and had a tech out today. He diagnosed the leak in about 10 minutes and ordered the part for 160 bucks. He will be back with the part in two days and replace the issue.

Thank God for Lamar Plumbing. Don't waste your time with the other guys, most of them just don't have the skills to fix anything complex. They aren't qualified to work on everything and LAMAR KNOWS RHEEM.

I had previously used Lamar with excellent results but this last experience Tanner complained about the repair job and took all day. When I offered a suggestion he stated, "I Don't Know" at his mercy he charged me $940.00 for about 3 feet of pipes. Never again Lamar. Job still not repaired.

Horrible company!! Do not trust them. Bad work and unethical. And over priced.

Lamar hands down has some amazing and professional workers Trevor and Jacob have some amazing team working and communication skills to make sure the jobs done right. Thanks for y’all’s prompt and urgent response even during a tropical storm. Rain didn’t stop these men from working hard and getting the job done. I greatly appreciate it.

Was without hot water and low pressure for 4 days. The company I was using left me stranded so I called Lamar Plumbing and they came out to my home within 45 minutes from my call and had problem solved in about 3 hours. Highly recommend them and a big Thank you to Trenton...

Had Lamar Plumbing come out to do an estimate for my parents on a leaking gas pipe. Charged $200 for what the city already told me was the cause and issue. Said they would call back the next day..still waiting on the call back. Very unprofessional. I do not recommend this business. I would look around before using them.

I was absolutely blown away with this company. I woke up this morning to super cold water for my morning shower (this is my cup of coffee for me). I had a really hard time finding a plumber to work on my water heater. I tried three other companies and never received a reply. The water heater in question is only 4 years old. The original plumber no longer does residential work. I was worried because the weather is going to get colder in a couple of days. Lamar plumbing sent someone within a couple of hours. Trevor did an amazing job of not only fixing the problem. He thoroughly explained the issue and the fix. Once he fixed that. He realized the original plumbers set the thermostat too high which caused the problem AND they had not connected some of the pressure piping because they crushed it with a wrench. He diagnosed and fixed all the problems! As he was done he asked if there was anything else. I was worried about the outside water valve not being insulated and with the upcoming weather conditions I mention the issue. He said, “ it’s your lucky day. I have pipe insulation from another job.” He applied it to the pipe quickly. Trevor was professional, competent and personable. From my phone call with the office staff to the actual work. They did an amazing job. You don’t find people like this anymore. A company I would definitely recommend.

Had a drain back up & when another plumber was unable to fix the issue and was extremely rude, I called Lamar Plumbing. Paul came out and had the issue fixed in a short amount of time. Recently had Paul and Clayton out to fix a separate issue. Again the issue was resolved timely. Both were extremely friendly & Paul is an amazing plumber. The prices are fair. Paul and Clayton worked fast and efficiently to resolve the issue in as little time possible. The staff who answer the phone are extremely friendly and helpful. All around they are a pleasure to do business with.

I'm glad I called lamar plumbing company. Same day water heater installation! Customer service was great from phone call to final installation. Trevor and Sack were easy to work with. They did a great/ professional job ! Even hauled off old broken water heater. All at a great price! Will be calling lamar plumbing when needed.

Had Tanner and Sam come to my salon to work on my shampoo bowls and they were great! Excellent communication and told me the roots of the issues we were having and we got the parts ordered for the second repair. Very fast service, great customer service and reasonable pricing. Will use them again for sure!

Trevor and his assistant Sam did a great job. They came the same day we called, we’re polite and courteous. They solved our problem for a reasonable price. We highly recommend Lamar Plumbing!

Once again, Lamar Plumbing did excellent work. Tanner was sent to my home today, 6/10/25, to address plumbing issues. This guy is the best. He is so professional and pleasant. I have used Lamar Plumbing for many years, and they are the best. They have installed sinks, toilets, grab bars, pipes, water heaters etc. I highly recommend them. Thanks to their great plumbers like Tanner.

Trevor and Sam are the greatest plumbers I have ever delt with.. and I have delt with a lot of shit. I purposely want to damage my plumbing so I can have these guys come help again. They are honest and saved me thousands of dollars compared to the other local company quotes, Lamar Plumbing is the best! Highly recommend, and will only call on Lamar in the future.

As always Lamar Plumbing’s service is excellent. From the initial scheduling call with Susan, who is always helpful and friendly to the plumbers sent out to address the issue, Lamar’s staff are competent, quick to respond, and always helpful. This has been my go to for all plumbing related concerns for years. I highly recommend.

Curtis came to our home today. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He identified the problems and offered several repair/replace options and costs. Problem solved and even discussed future projects.

I have been using Lamar Plumbing since 1998 and they have never let me down. Recently, Trevor came by to look at a slow drain. He was very friendly and respectful and quickly resolved the issue.

I'm so glad I called other companies for estimates. Lamar is highway robbery, they did not submit an itemized estimate to justify their $10,000 to $12,000 quote. That quote was given by phone. Other company submitted a written quote detailing what was going to be fixed and was much more affordable and they warrantied their work!

Lamar Plumbing is an old well established business. They will always give you excellent service. I would especially like to recognize Scott who goes above and beyond to fix your issue.

The 2 young men who came put where the best. They were kind, professional and did an amazing job at an amazing price. I will definitely use them and and would highly recommend.
Also they were one of many that I called that actually answers their phone and returns calls. Office staff is also awesome.
