Bad Customer Service - I made an appt with them to fix my hot water heater. They set the appt for the next day in the afternoon. By 4pm the day of the appt. no one had shown up. I called the company to confirm. i was informed my appt was canceled but they couldn't tell me why. I asked for it to be rescheduled immediately since I had no hot water. They said their next available appt was several days away, leaving me to suffer for several more days without hot water in the winter because the company can't manage their business. I asked for it to be sooner but I was given excuses about their overbooking and understaffing. NOT MY PROBLEM! Sounds like you can't manage your business. Company is unreliable. Needless to say I went with another company who was happy to have my business.

I have used Owen Plumbing for multiple jobs, from running gas lines into my house for a new stove to performing inspections on new home purchases. Every interaction has been professional and prompt with dependable on time service. Some Corpus businesses can exhibit sub-standard customer service but this company clearly stands out as one you can depend on.

We are in the middle of trying to sell our house and after waiting over a week for our isolation test, we get a cancellation call the morning of. My wife told them this was the only day she had off to be able to be there and was told “yeah you and everybody else.” My wife asked if they could possibly come in the afternoon and was told “maybe but I wouldn’t hold my breath or wait around for us.” We are now over a week closer to closing with no progress thanks to Owen Plumbing. Taking our 2000-3000 dollar sewer repair line job elsewhere.

Called a couple of plumbers and they were too busy to get to me that day. Water was completely off at the house due to a bad valve. Bernard showed up on time and took care of the problem quickly. The price was very reasonable and I was very happy with the work done.

Phil Owens is very professional and man of his word. We were satisfied with the work they did for us - timeliness, quality, cleanliness and professionalism. Wish it was less expensive but don’t we all.... would definitely recommend their services.

Justin fixed three problems in less than an hour, including a badly stopped up bathroom sink drain. Another company had previously said they would charge $316 to fix this, but Justin fixed this and two other problems for $112.50. I highly recommend Own Plumbing.

Josh came by to fix a plumbing issue (obviously) in my kitchen and I don’t think I’ve a more pleasant experience! Made me feel like I was back at Chick-fil-a. He was super friendly the moment he walked in my house until he walked out. Fixed the issue and also cleaned up any mess he made. Totally would recommend these guys to anyone!!

We had Owen Plumbing come out to an apartment community we recently purchased in Corpus Christi. We wanted them to scope all the sewer lines and give us a proposal to repair any problems found. They took much longer than they estimated to do the work which had the bill more than double for the initial scoping of the sewer lines.

After Owen Plumbing did all of this, they told me they would need to visit again and bill us for additional time to create an estimate. After objecting they said they could get us an estimate, but after multiple emails and over the last month they still will not send us a proposal.

There is no shortage of plumbing companies in the area so please avoid Owen Plumbing. They are dishonest and ultimately do not want to do the work.

Talked to staff on numerous occasions from 6/7/21- 7/9/21. Initial call I offered to email pics and did for a bid for a small tankless hot water heater and installation. Weeks later owner emailed to ask a question which I responded to timely. Gave it another 1 1/2 weeks for our bid; nothing so I called again. I spoke to each Peggy and Crystal on several documented occasions with the final call asking to let me know if they didn’t want to bid the job with no return call. I called one last time today 7/9/21 and a man answered. I’m pretty sure he could have been the owner, but I told him who I was and the firm name and to tell Peggy and Crystal that we’d be going in a different direction since nobody was getting back with me. If this was Mr. Owen, he should have explained why this was taking so long and offered an apology, but he just said a”okay”. If they didn’t want to bid the job, just say so.

Called Owen plumbing to come out to take a look at my toilet because there was water coming out from the base of the toilet. He looked at it very quickly and did not evaluate the toilet correctly. He went outside to my backyard where the clean out is located then ran a snake and left. I had to call the city. The city informed me nothing was backed up but that my wax ring needed to be replaced. I told him I paid 125$ for a plumber to come look at my toilet, but now I just want a refund because the plumber obviously did nothing to fix the problem.

Oweb Plumbing was assigned by my home owners warranty after a bad experience with another plumbing company. By the following day they were calling to set up an appointment. Josh was phenomena, super professional and explained in a way I could understand. Highly recommend!

Owen Plumbing did a great job in helping me get the main line cleared at my rental property. They were professional, courteous, and most importantly - FAST. I will definitely use them for any plumbing related needs from now on!

Owen Plumbing worked on my family's home in Corpus Christi in August 2020. They were extremely professional in addressing plumbing issues before the sale of our home, completing all the repairs on time, and providing all the necessary documentation we needed for the home's sale to proceed. And in the middle of the pandemic, they were clearly taking every precaution to ensure everyone's safety. I highly recommend this company.

Be aware Owen Plumbing & Drain will only guarantee their outside work for 30 Days! Owens did a repair 4 months ago & we noticed the leak was back contacted them to come back out but was charged again for the work they just did 4 months ago! HORRIBLE customer service & if their work only last 4 months, do not want them completing any more repairs.

Owen Plumbing & Drain, please check with your staff, no warranty period was mentioned prior to coming out, there was no damage to from "lawn care" and not in an area to be hit by another object. SMH. As far a the drought to heavy rain period, if Owen Plumbing & Drains work not make it through one heavy rain period after a repair, I again do not recommend them. This is South Texas and the conditions are they same pretty much every year, work should last longer than 4 months. I have no missed call & spoke with your office manager this morning, she has my number as I told her I would definitely make it public to not use your services. I reported this yesterday and still stood by her decision today as do I.

Would have been 5 stars except the receptionist, Peggy, could have been a lot more polite and personable. Five stars to Josh though! Our repairman was absolutely amazing and was even really good with my dogs! He even took the time to listen to my nine year old daughter ( who can talk for hours without breathing). Thanks so much Josh for making a repair call amazing!
