Called Cy-Fair Mechanical LLC on Sunday, and they arrived at the time they scheduled their appointment with us. The Technician was professionally answering our questions and took great care of our unit. He inspected it and gave it an A+ maintenance service. Their prices are very affordable. Cy-Fair Mechanical LLC staff are very competent and trustworthy.

AC went out and needed someone to look at it. I called several companies to get an idea of what to expect for a house call to trouble shoot ac. Just to trouble shoot and not to fix, i was expecting a house call charge of $75 to $125 which based on 3 companies i called.

I decided to research online i found Cy-Fair Mechanical with good reviews. I called and someone promptly text back and set up appointment 3 hours after initial contact, (which was very good) to look at my ac unit.
the tech arrived on time and quickly diagnose the unit. Spend about 10 minutes outside and and another 20 minutes in attic.
Told me ac unit had to be completely repaired, which was correct. Older unit and no sense in replacing outside unit and keeping old unit in attic.
The cost for (give or take 30-40 minutes) of diagnosing unit was $214 which i thought was very excessive for the work that was done. Tech said he would get all information to his office i would get a quote of replacement cost. I had 3 options given to me on 3 tone 13-14-16 seer systems, low end of $6400 and high end of $9200 all with American Standard units.

I did not have a good feeling based on house call charged and the way house call unfolded that i went ahead another company and checking prices on 3 ton units for 14 seer specs.
After 2 companies i was able to find Carrier 3 ton unit 16 seer installed with full warrant on unit and 1 year labor for $4600.
My experience was not a pleasant with Cy-Fair. I guess do thorough research is my best advice.

I called David for a quote and his bid came in lower than other providers I had gotten bids from. This made me nervous at first but after reading some of the reviews, I decided to take my chances. I am glad I did. A crew of 5 guys arrived at my house promptly at the expected time and worked non-stop for the next 7 hours during which they replaced 2 entire units. All of the workers were very friendly and happy to answer any questions I had. I am very happy with my experience, and would strongly recommend Cy-Fair Mechanical to anybody in their serving area.

Furnace quit working during the freezing weather. I searched on line for repairman with high customer satisfaction.

Found Cy-Fair mechanical and set up an appointment with David the business owner.

They sent Thomas the next morning who was very courteous and professional. He found a bad circuit board. He located the part locally and had the job finished on a very acceptable time range.

Well, this is going to be a different review. I went out to Cy-Fair Mechanical through Home Advisor. David came out as scheduled, went over everything with me, gave me a quote like I asked, but unfortunately, I went with another provider. I told David of this, and of course, he was disappointed .BUT, here's where his value came in. David even went as far as to coach me through the process, equipment needs, etc. He wanted to make sure the one I awarded my job to wasn't taking advantage of me. David asked that I send the model numbers of the coil, furnace and condensers to make sure that I was getting proper 16 SEER equipment. He didn't have to do this. But, he did. What an honest person! As a business owner, I highly appreciated this. I offered to give him some $$$ for his trouble, and he declined. He simply asked that I provide a Google review. Of course, I will gladly give him a Google review. I can assure you, next time I have an AC issue, I will contact David's company, Cy-Fair. Mechanical.

I got 4 estimates for a total replacement for our 3200 sq ft home. Cy-Fair Mechanical bet the next best price by $8000 and with the top of the line Trane xl20i. The crew was professional and worked fast. They were very careful to protect the carpet and covered everything under the areas they worked. Everything they put is was quality stuff - despite the low cost of the bid, everything down to the replacement duct work was of the highest quality and well insulated. I was very impressed!

When they were done, they were not happy with the flow up the existing gas furnace exhaust. They could have walked away and I would never have known anything, but instead they came back and re-did the entire exhaust, at no extra cost, just to remove some old existing turns in the pipe they didn't like and felt it may play a small role in reducing efficiency!

Dave, the owner, has called me several times since the install to make sure everything was working great. The one time I did have some programming questions on the system, he didn't just guide me over the phone, he came over and showed me.

In a world of profit driven companies and declining customer service and after sales support - Cy-Fair Mechanical is not like anyone else. You will not regret your business with them!

Tommy was professional and on time. He was respectful of our home and listened to our concerns. I have used Cy-Fair Mechanical before and always happy with their services. David is prompt to respond and very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. I will keep using them as long as I own my home.

Cy-Fair Mechanical has been providing service and maintenance on my Cooling and Heating systems for the past 10 years. With the age of my systems getting up around 14 years I knew it was time to look at replacing them. I asked David, owner of Cy-Fair Mechanical, for a quote to replace the complete systems on my home. I also called 3 other local HVAC companies for comparative proposals. Two of the other companies sent pushy sales people that I had to dang near throw out of my house to get rid of them. They treated me like they were selling used cars. Their prices were around 15-20% higher than Cy-Fair Mechanical. The other company’s representative was better and more personable. He provided quotes more comparable to Cy-Fair Mechanical, with similar scopes of work. In the end I went with Cy-Fair Mechanical due to our long service relationship and a slightly better price. On the day of install, Alfredo showed up with the install crew and they worked diligently to get the job completed with as little inconvenience to us as possible. When they were finished, Alfredo walked me through the job and answered all my questions and showed me what he did. Ryan went through the thermostats with me. They cleaned up completely and everything looked exactly as it did before they arrived. I was completely satisfied with the process and the prices for the project. I highly recommend this company for all your HVAC needs.

Cy-Fair Mechanical gave me fair price and the crew did excellent work. They removed old HVAC and cleaned up area before installing new one. They clearly explained everything about the AC and heater components as well. The owner communicated very well with me and instead of over selling me on something I didn’t need he made sure to provide the system that was necessary for my heating and cooling needs.

David helped me spec out and install a Trane system in 2017, and everything worked great. Unfortunately my compressor failed in 2024. Although Cy-Fair Mechanical no longer works with Trane systems, David stood by his installation and helped me navigate the warranty policy and fix an error on Trane's end which ultimately saved me a fortune in repairs through a competitor (that still specializes in Trane systems). I can't recommend his company enough.

I had all of my AC units (four units) and furnaces replaced by Cy-Fair Mechanical. I had got few quotes from others, but Cy-Fair quotes were better than others. Most importantly, I wanted to deal with someone who was honest and professional. David Moor has both qualities. He didn't try typical sales tactics, pushes or nickel or dime for petty items. His crew was well experienced and knowledgeable. My experience was great and I would highly recommend Cy-Fair Mechanical.

My A/C unit stopped cooling and I scheduled a service call on-line. I promptly received a response indicating a service tech would be here the same morning. He arrived at the specified time, promptly diagnosed the problem and made the repair. Tommy was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He had my A/C unit cooling in short order. I have used Cy-Fair Mechanical on previous occasions with always the same result; total satisfaction. I highly recommend them and believe the price/value ratio is as good as it gets!

My air conditioner stopped working last night unfortunately. I remembered Cy-Fair Mechanical from work they had done for me a few years ago so I called them around 9 pm to see when they could have someone come out. David answered and was able to get Tommy out to me the next day by noon! The first time I employed this company they were excellent all around on craftsmanship, price and professionalism and did exactly the same on this repair. The repairman and the owner were both very excellent and professional and I enjoyed talking with each of them. I already was recommending them to family and coworkers and will continue to do so. These guys are top notch! Turn around time from placing the service request to the time a tech comes out is super quick, and you get updates and confirmations via text regarding your services. I've had them out a few times now, and thankfully I never have to wait long for the repairs. Communication level is outstanding, techs and owners are super friendly and very professional. I've never had a service company of any sort come out and do as well as Cy-Fair Mechanical does. Thanks for all that you do to keep us cool in the Houston heat!!!

Cy-Fair Mechanical did an excellent job replacing my old AC unit today. The quality of their work was very good and my price was very fair. Alfredo, the lead installer, did a good job answering all my questions about the install and the unit. I plan to recommend them to all my friends and family for any AC work they need. Also, kudos to David at this company for quoting the job and setting the install up for me today.

When we had to replace our AC unit a few years ago, we shopped around with several local businesses. David Moore and his team by far offered the best value and professional installation we could find. Recently an electrical issue damaged our unit. Cy Fair Mechanical was quick to respond and truly went above and beyond to make sure our unit was repaired and running as soon as possible. (Before we realized how extensive the electric damage was, David was walking my husband through several possible fixes early on a Sunday morning trying to get our unit running again.). You can trust their technicians to always do the best possible job. They get right to work identifying the issues and insuring everything is working properly before they leave.
