David gave a quick diagnosis and a recommendation based on the age of the unit and cost of repair. We decided to move on with a new unit and he gave honest and reasonable recommendations, and didn't try to upsell me. They did a fast and professional job installing the new unit.

Cy-Fair Mechanical replaced my home’s furnace, coil, and A/C unit. The team of workers were polite, clean, and efficient. The job was done in under a day with no complications. The team stayed around afterwords to patiently answer all my questions, while giving me an overview of the newly-installed machinery. Additionally, their cost was easily able to beat the competition.

David's team did an excellent job on installing a new condenser unit today. As stated in previous reviews, he will give you the best options and explain them to make sure you understand. I have used his company in the past to install coils and a furnace. I will call him again for any future AC/heating needs.

Had the guys come out to replace entire A/C system. Showed up on time, laid out floor covering on entire carpet. They were professional, courteous and kept me informed during the installation process. When finished they picked up the floor covering and cleaned up. They left the house as clean as when they arrived. They explained the entire process to me, showed me what was done, explained warranty etc. I couldn't have expected any more from them. Cy Fair Mechanical LLC saved me from having to replace my Lennox 3 ton commercial unit. The two prior AC companies claimed to have put Freon into my system but it didn't cool down. They advised replacing a 5 year old unit. I called David Moore (owner) and told him what had happened last week and he promptly came over to my business, put in some refrigerant, and low and behold I came in on Monday and the system is working. It may leak somewhat but it is blowing cool air finally. I appreciate his professionalism, giving me options, and explaining my situation. It is called trust and I have it with him and his company.

I called at 8am and I had a service tech out to fix my AC issue by 3pm the same day. Tommy showed up diagnosed and completed the repair within an hour and a half. He was professional and courteous. I received 4 quotes for an AC system. Cy-Fair Mechanical came in cheaper than the competition by a good amount. The major standout for me was the attention. To give a little backstory: My 14 year old upstairs A/C system wasn't cooling so I decided to go through my home warranty. Long story short, the company my home warranty sent to my house was trying to nickel and dime me without actually fixing the problem. Just putting a Band-Aid on it. I did some research on Google and found Cy-Fair Mechanical. And boy I'm sure glad I found this company. David's prices and quality are hard to beat. I ended up replacing the whole system (outdoor condenser, coil, and furnace). David and his crew were able to knock all of it out in one morning. I am very happy with the results and plan on using them for all future HVAC work.

The two units noted below are about 8 years old, still operating as expected and efficiently keeping my home cool and my electric bills low. Exactly what I wanted. However ... after years of operation, some things can be expected to fail. My Independence Day 4th of July gift from my 5-ton Trane was a failed coil and a gradually warming home. I called David Moore at Cy-Fair Mechanical, described the situation and got a few instructions that I could easily perform to enable a preliminary assessment of what had failed. I called David back 90 minutes later and his diagnosis was that the coil apparently had failed. It would be a simple repair and he could either come out on Monday or he would do his very best to fit me in TODAY ... on the 4th ... if I would accept a holiday upcharge and an overtime charge because the technician was working on a national holiday and would be working later than the end of his 8 hour day. I get it, and it is what I expected so no problem there. Tommy (ask for Tommy, good guy, great work) came out with the correct part and had the unit working in under 30 minutes for about $300 total. Would have been cheaper if I had waited until Monday but because I have temperature sensitive stuff in my home, postponing a solution was not in scope. Getting back online was well worth the modest upcharge and as I have experienced at every call, the service was very impressive. This is why I call Cy-Fair Mechanical when I need AC and heating work. They consistently demonstrate they understand cutomer service and they get the job done as promised in advance with no surprises at payment time. Perfect!

Cy-Fair Mechanical installed my two
Trane systems (4&5 ton units) in 2012. The electricity savings have almost justified the purchase of these high efficiency systems. But the comfort has made all the difference. They come periodically to inspect and maintain my systems. They have never had to add Freon or fix anything. Maybe it’s Trane. Maybe it Cy-Fair Mechanical. It’s probably both. I have had an exceptionally good experience with my air conditioning systems. I strongly recommend Cy-Fair Mechanical and their air conditioning solutions. They are good people.

Cy-Fair Mechanical's crew were great. They put drop cloths down on the carpet and cleaned up after themselves. Got the new system up and running as well as adding some needed ductwork. After getting a $570 electricity bill, we decided it was time to stop wasting money on the 17 year old ac and upgrade to a high efficiency ac system. I had some personal recommendations for Cy-Fair as well as some experience with some repairs. Also, Cy-Fair's estimate for this new 20 SEER system was the best I found. The work got done in a day. The new system is working so well.
Now that it's winter, we needed some air balance adjustment. Tommy came out and spent the time needed to adjust dampers and show me how to do it in the future. More great service.
I recommend Cy-Fair Mechanical to everyone for maintenance, repairs, or new installations.

David was extremely helpful when I was getting quotes on AC units. He provided several choices with different efficiency and price ranges. When I asked about other options, he was always willing to answer my questions and provide a new quote, if necessary.

His pricing was around the midpoint of other quotes, but the reason I chose his company was because I was confident his team would perform their work with the same professionalism he displayed during the bid process.

Now that they finished the install, I can report that my initial thought was correct. His team showed up on time, protected everything in our house, cleaned up properly upon completion, and spent time reviewing the new thermostat with my wife.

I've been using Cy-Fair Mechanical for about ten years. They are trustworthy, and they do good work. They have always been honest about what I need to have done. I will continue to use them, and if you want a headache free AC experience, you should use them, as well.

Our A/C went out at 5 PM on Friday June 1st 2018. I called around frantically to 4 A/C companies. I had left a message with Cy-Fair Mechanical but figured I wouldn't hear back until at least the next day. When I had just about given up and figured my family would be spending the night at a hotel and maybe have an expensive visit over the weekend I received a text. It was from Dave, owner of Cy-Fair Mechanical. Based on the message I had left he was fairly confident of the problem and provide instructions on how to repair it myself. It ended up being a blown fuse in our furnace and he guided me every step of the way. Not only did David save our weekend and big $, he restored my faith in service companies. We will definitely be using Cy-Fair Mechanical next time we need service. I can tell from the reviews and my own experience that David and his company are first rate people.

Cy-Fair Mechanical is the BEST! They are honest, professional, and very helpful. They try to find ways to extend the life of your existing a/c system instead of trying to sell you a new one. I am selling my house in two weeks and I woke up to NO A/C. Had one AC guy out here and he told me that I needed a new compressor and that it was best to replace the unit.
