We have both grass and tree/shrub plans with Trugreen, starting February 2025. The improvement in our yard compared to previous year is obvious. It is also good to be able to have access to specialists when a problem arises. These treatments are convenient and we feel definitely worth the cost. We are glad we made the decision to use TruGreen.

Horrible service and professionalism. Very sloppy with fertilizer. I had to ask them several times not to put fertilizer in my flowerbeds and they are completely destroyed now. Even after saying that they would be more careful they were still very sloppy and now I have new grass in my flowerbeds after killing the old grass. I canceled my service with them three times and they kept coming out here and trying to charge me but each time I would have to tell them I canceled already. Very sloppy and careless around flowerbeds. If you like your flowerbeds, do not use this company at all they will destroy them.

This is just 76 days of the service, it's so much better. Thanks! Prices are a little higher than I would like, but you get what you pay for. The product they put on the grass is better than anything I believe I can purchase. I have tried so many products. And I always end up going back to TruGreen despite the price.

My yard had been struggling with a spot where crabgrass and dallisgrass were taking over. The HOA was threatening me with a fine, and I began to question the value of the TruGreen service. I spoke to my TrueGreen technician, Devonte, and he immediately contacted his manger and they came up with a plan to aggressively treat these invasive weeds. Devonte promised he’d be back out when a certain product became available, and he did so. He also promised to come back out ~2 weeks later for a second special treatment, and today he completed this. My yard looks great and I’m happy with the way the way Devonte listened to my concerns and took action (he saved a customer who was close to leaving).

Saw him putting down the sulfur treatment. My yard has very few weeds and my less than a year old tree is already budding. Only tree is my area green already and pretty! My yard looks great at this time. And I’m not doing it, True Green is!! A true blessing! Thanks

Horrible experience. My lawn looks worst than it started. Also, they will renew your contract without telling you. No calls or nothing to verified that they will restart again. I get that its in the contract (or so the represantative told me) however, i would think that a good customer service department would make sure you know before accessing the property. They just charged me 260 dollars for a service that did nothing and i didnt know about. DO NOT GET TRU GREEN! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

The lawn specialist specifically sprayed some crab grass that was coming up. I really appreciate him stopping it before it spreads. TruGreen has been a home run for me - they’re great!!

Please do not waste your money on them in Dallas. We have had skipped services, charged and no fertilizer put down. When asked about why the grass looks awful, there is an excuse for everything…. Bugs, then tech says no bugs, Gardner is killing it…. A different excuse every week. Not let’s fix the issue. Do not use them.

I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt regarding their reviews. I don’t recommend them. Canceled my service. Had my yard evaluated prior to the first service. Technician came out and didn’t even perform what was suggested. Had to have their district manager come out and re do the service. Cameras caught the technician doing partial of the work suggested needing to be done. Based on their report after the service.
2nd service was done and spoke to the technician had some questions on what was my best option on certain areas on how to address them in my front lawn. Technician have 0 knowledge on what they are doing based on the information provided or what to recommend. Expect technician to sit in their vehicle. Come and go within 5 minutes and drop off a small true green sign in the front of the yard and backyard showing proof that they were there. Don’t waste your time. You are better off buying products from Lowe’s or Home Depot and doing it yourself

Like EVERY service call, I have had to point out the boundaries of the property. Suggestions on how to make sure the specialist knows where to apply the product have gone unnoticed by the company or supervisor. A simple diagram of the property area to be sprayed or fertilized could be included in the specialist's work order. Each treatment is handled by a different employee and unless someone is home, the work could be incomplete.

They are here bright and early. They walked through the process did their job and in their way. They also do my mosquito and Insect repellent as well. It all seems to work on our 2 acre happy land! Would seriously recommend.

This is the house before, we are now having it go under some changes. Lawn being one of them! So exciting!

TruGreen is a rip off! They lied an about the service I was supposed to get. There is a lot more mosquitoes than before!! I called them after talking to the service guy they sent, told them exactly the service I was supposed to get, Mosquito repellent and tick, flea treatment for my yard, all outside insects treatment. Nothing was done but he sprayed trees. The service guy told me he was sick and tired of them lying about services to us as customers will get and the order stated something else!
Spoke to Hisham, he kept me on the phone for 45 minutes trying to convince me on staying with the company, offering me all deals, 5% off 10% off services! He repeated himself 20 times, all I wanted was to cancel my membership and a refund on my money! He said he would send me a email confirming my cancellation and refund, til today, 9.16.25, I have not received no email confirmation! This was on 9.11.25! I do not recommend them to anyone!

Do NOT use these guys! They can't be trusted to honor their word or your requests. I agreed to let them service my yard on two conditions. I must have a call ahead and that the tech lock the gate behind them. Two visits and neither tech even knew about my requests (or that's what they told me) the second guy didn't have the decency to lock the gate back behind him and my dog got out and ended up in a neighbor's garage blocks away. If you don't have dogs and don't care, then I guess go ahead. However, if you are looking for a company to TRUST, that will honor their word and respect your property....TruGreen is NOT the company to use!!!

Absolutely terrible. I had submitted for a quote from this company, plus a few others to compare rates and services. The rep was awful. All I wanted was a quote. He was forcing add ons to a plan I refused to commit to, by this point I had already chose another company I preferred. Kept trying to force me to open a link and click confirm and to give payment information over the phone. Since then it has been nonstop harassment. Text messages and calls. They clearly don’t care about customer service. Based off of that experience alone I’d never do business with this company.

I love how True Green has transformed my yard. They even noticed my magnolia tree was sick with fungus. They treated it. I’m expecting flowers next year. Thanks for my green lawn. Texas lawns are full of crabgrass. Give them a call, you won’t regret it.
