In a recent move from Ft Worth to north Dallas suburbs we contacted Garden Design Landscaping to design and install a completely new patio and garden in our yard. Robert Watson crafted a beautiful design. The installer crews led by Byron, Kevin, Marlon and Brian, for hardscape, landscape, irrigation and electrical did outstanding work.

This was our third time to use Garden Design Landscaping, and the best experience of all. Highly recommend them!

Had 3 Palms removed and 3 Red Maples installed. Kendal did a great job of managing the job…. The crew was thorough in the removal, install and clean up.

AVOID AT ALL COST! They do questionable work with questionable workers. Non of the works speak seem to understand what you say. Poor to respond and do not show up when they say they will. I’m not sure how they are still in business.

We worked with a great group of people at Garden Design. Throughout the entire process, I found the design architect and project manager to be very responsive and straightforward, which made them really easy to work with. The crews were great as well; very precise and left our yard clean at the end of each workday. We're very happy with the final result! I've already recommended them to neighbors and friends. Great job guys!

Kendal with Garden Design is my ace in the hole. He's the perfect combo of friendly and professional, and he always shows up when he says he will. Plus, he's a magician when it comes to getting me great prices on my projects. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I worked with Blake and he was great to work with. The work looks fantastic and it was exactly what I was looking for/envisioning. They provided tree relocation, a stone edging retaining wall with a brick cap around the flowerbeds and the tree wells. Anytime there was a small issue/question, there was a quick resolution. Communication was very open and transparent which made it a smooth process. I will gladly use Garden Design again and recommend Blake to anyone in the future.

Fantastic company! I can't say enough good things about this company! I had the pleasure of working with Daniel, when my tree was knocked down from a recent storm. Daniel came out multiple times to go over proper care for a new tree and even discussed at length other maintenance tips. Wonderful, personable customer service and outstanding results.
I will definitely be using them for all my landscaping needs!

We had a lot of issues with our tree replacements and getting responses back from the main line or our assigned project manager. It took me leaving a review on Google to get someone to listen and respond to us. Thankfully after having seen my initial review, Megan was able to get our problem resolved. I would still be hesitant to use them again in the future, but I appreciate the effort Megan put into helping us.

Kendal has been great for me, completing scheduled task on time. His communication via phone/text is superb. His crews do a great job and never need any direction onsite. The grass installed along with landscaping always looks vibrant. I highly recommend using Garden Design!!

I have been working with Kenny as my PM on a commercial job for about 2 months, and I would rate not only Garden Design but Kenny as a top notch 10/10. Highly recommend to individuals, and companies. Jerry is our Area Manager for Garden Design and he is among the best as well. Not a single complaint.

Trena was so helpful and looked for answers to my questions. I have a new home and just put in a patio. I was looking for some matching stone for the new patio. Garden Design did not put in the stone wall but tried to get me a supplier. I was amazed at the caring and helpfulness that Trena showed me. Trena followed up when she hadn’t gotten my pictures of the stone. Trena is a tremendous employee with my 5 star rating. Keep up the great customer service and work.

We had to have a tree replaced in our front yard and worked with Kendal Eubanks from Garden Design. He went the extra mile and got us just the kind of tree we wanted. The planting process was smooth and efficient and the tree is healthy and vibrant- we are looking forward to many years of beautiful fall color.

One-year update: Dec 2024: We continue to have positive experiences with Garden Design. When we had some warrant work to complete, they were communicative and understanding of our concerns. We appreciate working with Jeff and Robert!

Our Garden Design Project Manager, Blake, along with his colleagues Jeff, Bernado, and Bryon excited our expectations. They worked with us within our budget to ensure our backyard renovation was completed on time and within budget. They provided quality and timely feedback, and were able to address any questions that arose along the way. We highly recommend working with Blake for your landscaping needs, and have already recommended him to several of our friends/neighbors. Cheers!

Garden design came out to help level my front yard. They threw some dirt on it in random places and left. They actually made the leveling worse.

What a great company, one of very few that I felt is fair, and have a human side to them. One of the Account managers Daniel, who is not only very professional and kind but also very understanding and helpful. Thank you Daniel, keep up the great work and i hope if the company management reads my review you have a gem of an employee and he deserves a pat on the back. Guys the next time i need anything with my lawn, I will be calling you up.

The Garden Design Team did an outstanding job with our sod installation! We were replacing several large patches throughout the yard and the crew did an excellent job and made sure all the sprinklers were still working after the install. We were so pleased, we hired them again, a few days later to mulch our flower beds. Special thanks to Kendal who made sure the entire process from start to finish was smooth and Antonio and his crew for the great installation.

We engaged Garden design to install landscaping (sod, flower beds, shrubs, trees and seasonals) and to help level front and back yards for drainage at our new custom home in Dallas. In total, spent $18k with Garden Design. The result of that $18k is the brown grass photos in this review. The work was so bad that only the boxwood shrubs they installed in the front still exist today. We engaged another landscaper (Tellus Outdoors) to re-do or replace 75% of what GD had done, and to completely outfit the back yard (after tearing up the sod/sand disaster GD left behind). The non-green/brown/puddle pictures here are AFTER Garden Design’s install and lot leveling. The now beautiful pictures are courtesy of the fantastic work our other vendor did. The pictures should speak for themselves in terms of comparing Garden Design to another vendor. Eric Liebman was the sales rep and project manager from Garden Design. He came to see their project only after I refused to pay their invoice. He admitted it looked like a disaster and offered to try and fix it. I declined, paid the invoice so we could go our separate ways, and spent another $30k repairing and improving from what GD had done. Obviously, I don’t recommend GD. I now understand they normally do track home / large subdivision installations, so they might be good [enough] there, but definitely not a vendor for a custom design or an end-to-end solution (at time of our project, GD did not offer irrigation, drainage, or turf solutions).

Robert, Doug and their entire crew do the BEST work in all of Metroplex!!! I might be a little partial, but we have the best yard in the neighborhood because of them and their crew. If you are looking to have the best yard in your neighborhood, they’re the people to call!!!

Over the course of multiple months, we worked extensively with Scott at Garden Design for a complete overhaul of the landscaping in front of my house. Things had to be carefully scheduled so as to get the 'order of operations' correct (my mom and I were separately handling the back landscaping ourselves along with other problems at my house). Garden Design accommodated our every need and was helpful the whole way. What a refreshing and fantastic experience!

Scott worked with us through multiple design revisions to build, schedule, and ultimately implement a solid plan to correct all the issues with the old/original landscaping. Scott also gave us great advice on things that we ultimately did not have Garden Design do for us (like the backyard landscaping, problematic tree removal, and how to handle the sides of the house); he was always willing to look at something unrelated to the front redesign - which he was handling - and give us a few helpful thoughts. As part of the planning process, Scott dropped by multiple times to inspect and evaluate the various problems and suggest how they might be handled.

When the time came for the install, Garden Design's installation crew did a great job and executed things "on schedule". They also returned promptly to handle a few 'last tweaks' post-installation that we requested during the post-install review with Scott.

I can't speak highly enough about Garden Design's service excellence! Highly recommend you contact them and give them a chance to earn your business.

We have Garden Design did our backyard landscaping project. We are very happy for the result. It is beautiful! Robert is great to work with, he is professional and care what client's want and he listens.
