I saw all the glowing reviews on Google and thought this would be a great company for my little patio job but apparently they are focused on large scale jobs only. My advisor Grant never offered any design beyond a rectangular patio, tried to talk me out of anything that was even a little custom and was late to deliver absolutely everything.

When they did finally show up, they tried using materials we didn't agree on, broke, misaligned or actually buried my sprinkler heads under the patio, had to keep coming out over and over to fix mistakes or incomplete work. Everything was late and very poorly done. Note in the picture the contractor grade downspout "extension", the fact that the patio is not level with the ground and the stone steps they tried to talk me out of before spending 2 months finding them. This small patio job took 4 months to complete.

I'm shocked at the ineptitude, especially given all the great reviews here. If you have a $100k job they may be good but for anything less than that - do not come near them!

Andrew, Byron and the team at Garden Design did an AMAZING job with our backyard. I highly recommend them! They were very professional and did everything the RIGHT way. Advertising on your company vehicles is a great idea, unless your employees drive like jerks. On Tuesday at 4:17 pm a Garden Design truck heading south on the DNT decided to exit to 121 from the FAR LEFT LANE. They hit their brakes going 75 MPH and cut all the way to the right. There was traffic backed up in the exit lane, but that didn’t worry them. They just cut across the solid lines and stripes right before the crash barrier to make the exit. Simply their braking move in the left lane was dangerous and it only got worse from there.

When we started our pool building process, we reached out to several landscaping companies and Garden Design was by far the best option for us from day 1. Heath arrived right on time and was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I told him our overall desire was privacy, as we have quite a few houses looking in our backyard. Otherwise, I told him I was open to ideas. He got right to work and returned a design to us within the allotted time frame. I was blown away by his creativity and just overall knowledge of plants and what works in our area or would best fit our needs. It was a no brainer for us to go with Garden Design, and Heath was the sole reason. His communication through the whole process was extremely timely and thorough and he addressed any changes or concerns we had quickly. The install was done right at the time they gave us and only took a few days. We have friends who have had much smaller projects done with other companies and they took several weeks to install. Doug, the project manager, was on site and available to help get everything just the way we wanted it. When we were not happy with a specific tree or plant, Heath replaced it without any question. He was always available for questions and checked in regularly through the whole process. I couldn’t have been more impressed with Heath and his team and we will refer them to everyone we know. The finished product is more than we could have ever dreamed of and we will use them again for more projects in the future. Thanks Heath for giving us such a pleasant experience!!

Blake helped us redesign and install both front and backyard landscaping - from completed sod install, to picking out and planting greenery that is low maintenance and expected to withstand Texas heat! Nothing was growing before he came in to help, the before photos of our yard would have been a big mud pit. We’re extremely happy with the result, and the entire process from start to finish was very smooth. We can’t wait to enjoy the warmer months outside with the kids!

We built our forever home on Lake Lewisville. We wanted to make sure that our landscaping reflected our style. Garden Design went through many iterations and planning to create a master piece.

The sales team works hand in hand with in-house design team to create a professional design.

When implementation is underway the Project Manager ensures success. I would recommend Garden Designs to any of my friends. If they can handle a tough customer like me they can help you.

Mike and Dave @ Original Landscape Concepts are Amazing. I rarely post reviews and having built / purchased almost 50 homes - I have had my fair share of good and bad experiences. NEVER have I been as wowed, amazed and impressed by a landscape company. First - they are just great people. Salt of the earth kind of guys. Thoughtful, empathic, respectful, considerate, honest, integral, trustworthy and real. Second - they flawlessly and seamlessly blend together art, construction, architecture and design. They spent A LOT of time coming up with something that worked for my yard. Something cool, modern, special and unique that fit perfectly for my .50 acre lot. They were visionaries - yet super common sense and down to earth. They took advantage of the natural topography, hand sketched a plan and executed perfectly on time and on budget. They gave me a ton of color, texture, and privacy that just worked with the pool, concrete, and natural surroundings. They also integrated well with all my other contractors (turf guys, pool builder, etc..). Third - service AFTER the sale. Exemplary customer service. These guys stood behind what they did. Followed up. Communicated extremely well. I genuinely feel like they wanted me to be happy and love my yard at all costs. Point blank - they executed. They got things done! Mike and Dave created a beautiful design and executed it flawlessly. They communicated throughout the project and even made it dog friendly during construction. We would definitely recommend them.

Original Landscape Concepts did a major project at our home 2 years ago and did a beautiful job. This last week we had a problem with one of the large planter's. The planter was not draining and as a result the expensive cactus was dying. We called them and explained our problem and they immediately came out and fixed the issue at no charge. We were amazed that after 2 years they would still stand behind their work and take care of the customer. They are a wonderful company to work with. Not only do they do quality work but, their customer service is excellent. I highly recommend them for any of your landscaping needs.
