Mike and his team did an excellent job on my landscaping. Mike was able to provide great design recommendations within my desired budget. He was always very responsive and delivered on time. Will definitely be using again!

Mike, David, and their crew recently designed and installed a new landscaping plan for our front and back yard. They also repaired our brick patio area. They made the project so easy and proposed clever, cost effective ways to really enhance the overall look of our home. The result is really beautiful. Their customer service and attention to detail is excellent. We highly recommend.

Original Landscape Concepts is the best landscape design and implementation company I've ever worked with in Dallas. They have excellent design concepts, they executed every detail that they promised, their crews are professional, work incredibly hard, are personable and helpful and truly cared about the work they were performing. They are a service oriented company from their first visit to our home to all the attention after the job is completed. They have shown up, without our request, multiple times to check on the new trees and new grass that they installed. We are huge fans of their service.

We moved into our newly remodeled home in April 2020 during COVID-19. To our amazement, the pandemic didn’t stop the landscaping process. This is an amazing landscaping design/build firm led by an amazing duo, Mike and Dave. I initially reached out to Mike because I loved their portfolio on Houzz. Upon our first meeting, I could tell he was a very nice and honest person, someone that you would want to work with right away. They’re always busy, but I am glad I waited. Mike came up with a conceptual plan for my home, and it was amazing. Mike is not just very good at what he does, but more importantly, I could sense that he just wanted what was best for me, and would try his best to help me achieve what I was looking for. It is so hard to find business led by individuals that are ethical, honest and really have their clients’ best interests at heart.

While I am sad that they won’t be able to do the installation for me due to distance/scheduling logistics, I am so grateful for their vision and creativity. I wholeheartedly recommend Mike and Dave for your landscaping design/installation. It will be very hard for me to find a more talented and kind team.

Original Landscape Concepts has designed and built 2 projects for my family. The most recent one was in excess of $200k. Dealing with all the contractor's on our remodel, Mike and David were the easiest to work with. They show up when they say they will and do quality work with the upmost professionalism. They managed multiple subcontractors for us (lighting, irrigation, paving) that freed us up from that responsibility. They were always available when we had a question or concern. Highly recommend.

I Don't have enough good words to say for Mike Dickerson and his team!! We have been doing a whole home renovation and Original Landscape Concepts is by far the best group we have worked with of all the trades involved in the whole process. They have salvaged the renovation experience for us. Their vision, responsiveness, management, ability to work with their clients to achieve exactly what suits them and accommodation of their goals is truly top notch. Not only do we love the work they did in our front and backyard, but they were pleasant to work with, always very communicative, had wonderful ideas and left our home clean when they finished each day. My wife and I have had an amazing experience with Mike and Dave @ Original Landscape Concepts. We had purchased a house that was very dated and they came up with a concept that makes our front yard and courtyard beautiful as well as functional. They also came up with a concept for our backyard remodel that allowed us to reclaim a ton of space as well as utilize the architecture of our house and incorporate the old and the new. The construction process was also extremely easy. All of there employees were courteous and friendly. They also cleaned up the job site on a daily basis and the project was completed ahead of schedule.

We used Mike and David in 2017 to provide a landscaping plan for our new home. They, along with the rest of their team, did an excellent job of executing the plan within my budget. I just recently had to call Mike about some additional potted plantings I was interested in that I had seen he had done on another home. Not only did he call me back the same day but he spent time going over various ideas on how I could easily do it myself, what plants to use and where to get the material I needed. I hope I have another project soon so I can have the pleasure of working with them again.

I just completed a large project with Original Landscape Concepts and the entire process from the initial meeting, design concepts, to completion, was remarkably easy and exceeded all my expectations on both the final project results, budget, and delivery on time. We worked with Mike and Dave in the fall of 2019 to redesign the front yard of our West HP home. Their team is extremely friendly and Mike and Dave are both very reliable and professional. I called Original Landscape Concepts after watching a job they were installing near my daughter's school. I was able to watch the progression daily and absolutely loved every aspect of their design. Mike met with me and instantly I knew there was no need to interview anyone else. Dave drew plans that were exactly what we had hoped for and the installation began. Mike was great about explaining every step and kept us updated daily. We had weather issues but never any problem with his crew or the work performed. While working around the pool, they put down drop cloths and were very careful to clean up at the end of every day. Mike went above and beyond by working with our pool guys and irrigation company and actually coordinated a couple of issues that would have otherwise been overlooked. It is obvious that Mike and Dave both are very talented and take pride in what they do! We are so happy with the results! I cannot believe what a difference beautiful landscaping makes!!! It feels like we just extended our home's square footage - I don't want to come inside.

Words cannot express how wonderful it was to work with Mike and Dave on the landscaping for our new home. Our experience with the builder of our home left much to be desired and as we neared completion on the house my husband and I had no desire to take on a new project and work with another contractor. We worked with Original Landscape Concepts, specifically Mike and Dave, after the October 2019 tornado severely damaged our front and backyards. We lost a number of very large trees and were basically left with a blank slate. Dave and Mike understood our vision right away while at the same time adding there expertise and creativity to the project. After our initial meeting, they came back to us with two designs that were perfect. I was amazed about how easily they captured all the small details that I mentioned from our first meeting. Their proposals were also very creative and not just the same look you see quite often in our neighborhood. As you can imagine, we worked with numerous people in the rebuilding of our home. I can honestly say Dave and Mike were by far the easiest to work with. They delivered everything that they promised, they always showed up when they said they would, and they went above and beyond to help us out with our home. For example, they took on coordinating all of our outdoor subs and managed the process for us. Even though we lost so many established trees in our yard, I still love driving up to our house and seeing the new landscaping. I would not hesitate recommending Original Landscape Concepts.

The design is beautiful and incorporates all of our wants- and definitely more. Our completed backyard is the “backyard oasis” that we've been dreaming of, yet never thought it could be this wonderful. It's entirely green all year round, low maintenance (no leaves in our pool), and we love the privacy from our neighbors. The birds are quite happy with all of the trees too. It was completed about nine months ago and looks more beautiful everyday.

Our landscape project was something we envisioned as an enhancement to our home that we were renovating and to the overall beauty of our property. Because of this, we interviewed several landscape architects/companies to ensure we selected a company with whom we felt comfortable working with and also one who exhibited an overall understanding of what we were wanting to achieve. From the first time with met with Dave and Mike they speak with such kindness I knew we would be selecting them for our project.

After we selected, Original Landscape Concepts, we shared many inspiration photos, including pictures of the French formal gardens of Versailles, preferred color palettes and various areas to incorporate in our project. We were blown away the first time we saw all of the drawings for our landscaping project it actually brought tears to my eyes. We were so impressed with their ability to take all that we had shared and discussed and turn it into something so unique to us that not only met but far exceeded our expectations.

Dave and Mike were excellent with their communication, material options and coordination of various trades throughout the entire process. This was critical to the success of the various areas of the project details throughout our large 18 month job. With each detailed walkthrough, as the work progressed, we continued to see the beauty we had envisioned for our property come to life through all of their efforts.

Since the completion of our project we have had visitors to our home that have all been so impressed by the design, plant and flower selection, and stunned at the overall beauty. Likewise, my husband and I love it so much and we appreciate being at home and enjoying it every single day. We often tell each other we just can’t believe this is our yard! We would highly recommend Mike and Dave, with Original Landscape Concepts, for any landscaping need you may have.
