We have used Moss for years and we love them! Jackson did a very thorough job and explained to me very clearly what was going on. He gave me two estimates for work that could be done in the future, but didn’t have to be done now. I think that really shows that they’re honest and on their customers side. They’re not trying to do additional work that doesn’t need to be done. We will definitely continue to use Moss in the future.

I walked in unsure about my furnace but the technician was straight‑forward and honest about what needed to be done. He explained the issue clearly, gave me a fair quote, and never tried to upsell me on extra parts. I appreciated that honesty more than anything and felt confident that the repair was done right. He provided me free second opinion and I’m so thankful he did; the first diagnosis was in error. He was prompt and professional, and never tried to upsell unnecessary work. His honesty and reliable service made we switch companies.

The office staff was less than stellar. Took four phone calls from me and about a month before they carried out the actual repair.

Moss Heating & Cooling was extremely prompt and professional. Their communication was clear and the technician name Jackson arrived right on time, completing the work with great efficiency, very professional and courteous. I appreciated their punctuality and the thorough air conditioning service they provided. I felt confident in their expertise and will definitely schedule them again for any HVAC repair. Excited to use them for my next service.

I scheduled a $29 gas heating system inspection through Lowe’s, which coordinated the visit with Moss Heating and Cooling. The strong Google reviews for Moss are what ultimately convinced me to keep the appointment, and the actual service itself met expectations.

Moss was accommodating with scheduling and availability, and the technician Nathan arrived on time, was professional, and clearly explained what he was checking. From a service standpoint, I had no complaints.

That said, the communication volume was overwhelming. From signing up at a Lowe’s register on 12/30/25 to the appointment on 1/16/26, I received a very high number of calls, texts, and emails from both Lowe’s and Moss for this single service. This included duplicate appointment confirmations, reminders from both companies, marketing emails unrelated to my visit (including expired promotions), multiple payment-related emails, and repeated review requests immediately after the appointment.

The service itself was solid, but the Lowe’s Home Services process and combined messaging created unnecessary noise and confusion. I eventually replied STOP to Lowe’s texts because I preferred to work directly with Moss. Victoria was a gem for hearing me out initially, I’m sure I shared feedback with the wrong person but I appreciate the way she handled my call.

Overall, Moss Heating and Cooling provided professional, reliable service, and I would consider using them again. I just hope the communication process can be streamlined for future customers, as the volume detracted from an otherwise positive experience.

He explained everything he tested and examined and what he was looking for. He also knew my system still had a factory warranty, which he also confirmed, and that any repairs that might have been needed would have been covered by that warranty. He ultimately determined that no repairs or replacement was needed. Tanner potentially saved me thousands of dollars and also earned me as a new customer for Moss. I appreciated Tanner’s thorough approach, the knowledge he shared about repairs, replacements, annd different systems, and his friendly attitude. Highly recommend Moss for any HVAC service needs.
