Charged nearly $800 bucks to install a $40 cartridge in my faucet. Took three trips to diagnose and correct the issue. When I balked at the bill the plumber lied about the visit ( I’m thinking CYA) and the Accounting Mgr backed him up, talked over me and essentially accused me of lying! They discovered a billing “error” and brought the bill down under $700, gee thanks! I said I didn’t think that was a fair price and the manager threatened to put a lien on my home unless I paid the full amount. I have never experienced such a thing before but will NEVER use this company again. INCOMPETENCE, DISHONESTY. & GREED are not how to keep customers. BUYER BEWARE!

Dillon Ashton did a wonderful job. He was timely, professional, kind, and was sure to explain his work and show me the results. Additionally, he took time to explain how I could prevent future issues. I highly recommend Dillon to anyone looking for a professional and efficient plumber.

Dillon and his apprentice Steven did an AMAZING job and cleared my drain and much more professional than the last plumber that came out Saturday who couldn't fix my problem. And I got the red carpet treatment. Like they actually had red carpet laid out when I opened the door! They also cleaned my bathtub out that was dirty from the plumbing issues. Absolutely would recommend 1000%!!! 😊

Dillon Ashton came out for an emergency call when a drain line from our laundry room was clogged. He thoroughly assessed the situation, walked me through everything he was doing, and answered all of my questions giving me confidence the job was being done well. Called Mother Modern Plumbing on Memorial Day and they were open!! Called around 11:30 and they were out to our house in Northlake by 2 o’clock! We had a backed up drain and had not been able to use our kitchen sink all weekend. There was no up charge for it being a holiday. Tyler was fantastic! Extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable. He quickly got to the root of the problem and was in and out in about an hour. I can’t believe calling a plumber on Memorial Day only cost me 300 bucks! I will 100% be using Mother Modern again should we have plumbing needs and will definitely be requesting Tyler!

Steven did an amazing job replacing our kitchen faucet and bathroom sink. He communicated perfectly with us on what to expect. We purchased the new faucet and he replaced it the very next day. Steven was friendly, so much so that our kids enjoyed talking to him! I’ll recommend Mother Modern Plumbing to everyone!

They walked me through every step of the process, explaining the “why” behind each valve and fitting in a way that was clear and easy to understand, even for someone like me who’s not a plumbing expert. Their communication was top-notch; they patiently answered all my questions (including a few I’d been saving for “later,” just like his advice suggests!) and made sure I felt informed and confident throughout. Off the clock, knowing he’s a dedicated family man and youth coach just adds to the sense of trustworthiness. Josh with Mother Modern Plumbing was excellent at explaining every step of the way in getting our kitchen sink backup fixed. He was very attentive and knowledgeable in his approach of getting to the problem. He answered every question with ease and was able to solve the problem!

I had a 18 yr old gas water heater in the attic. I live in Dallas by Love Field airport. Steven discussed my options and was honest and objective about what I needed and didn’t need. Not pushy at all. He was genuinely wanting to get the best outcome for me! Installation happened without any issues. Matthew was friendly and courteous. Moving water heaters up and down attic stairs takes skill! Thanks!

Originally gave 4 stars upgraded to 5. Not from a bad experience but more or less just misconception due to services/pricing. Overall great company, the plumber was great showed up on time and was efficient and confident in his work (which I value). Customer service was even better the company reached out after the apt and asked about things we went over pricing and realized their was a correction to be made so to say and they insisted on adjusting the price for me. Im not really used to that type of treatment so that was nice. Go ahead and look into these guys you should be happy!

A quick shout out to Mathew van Hoy of Mother Modern Plumbing. Not only was he knowledgeable and methodical in assessing my drain issue, he was also a good listener and clear communicator. I appreciate Mathew for being focused on proposing the most reasonable fix. It was clear that my best interest was top-of-mind for him. Jesse was great! Came out for a plumbing inspection on our new house and answered all our questions. We would absolutely use Mother again.

Matthew did a great job! I was very happy with Matthew’s analysis of my situation. He was able to replace my old cast iron plumbing that was causing our kitchen sink to not drain properly. Once he reconfigured the plumbing, replacing it with PVC, he was able to see that the rest of the line was in good shape which saved me some money. I appreciate the quick response, professionalism and honesty of the entire team!

WOW! I am so impressed! Mother's Modern Plumbing started with my phone call in and Patricia was so courteous and pleasant. That really helps when someone is frustrated with a plumbing issue. Technician Colton was prompt, pleasant, and professional. He explained the situation and what he would do to resolve the problem, which I agreed. My outside faucet wouldn't turn off and water kept running. Highly recommend Mother Modern Plumbing.

Josh was great. He came out and inspected our natural gas lines in the house. I would definitely use them again if if and when the need arises.

We had issues with hot and cold water. Joe and Luke diagnosed it very quickly, picked up the part and got the job done. They also installed a new faucet in the kitchen. All work was very professional, quick and reasonably priced. We were very pleased.
