Plumbing reviews in Dallas, Texas

There are plumbers and then there's PHS Plumbing. First of all, I didn't have to wait on hold to speak with someone. That means I'm not just a number in line.
PHS was prompt and very professional. Had them come out for a gas leak - my bill had gone up 400%. I liked that they explained what they were going to do, everything upfront so I knew what I was getting into. They fixed the problem in no and will be back for other items that need to be fixed.
PHS is going to be my first call moving forward.
Ps. Gareth was very friendly with my pups. -
On 9/22, we called Z plumbers, they spent 15 minutes clearing a shower drain for $250, no big deal, I went on a hunting trip and the drain clogged back up, when I returned, I called them first thing Monday morning, today, they came out, they left, then I got a call from some dude saying they wouldn’t warranty their work, now the excuse was we waited too long, normally someone would call much sooner, which is probably true, so, that part is my fault for sure, but not warrantying 15 minutes of work seems a bit trivial to me. Now, their response to this will be we didn’t call and alert them and must have created a new problem in 8 days, that’s not true, there’s no new problem, they didn’t unclog the drain, I guess we needed more than 15 minutes.

I received great service. He came dressed clean and fit correctly. He was able to find what was needed. After approval they went straight to work. All was cleared up and put back in place. Such a wonderful experience. Thank you

Had a rusted out connection on the water heater. Previous company just recommended replacing the entire hot water heater. PHS came out and completed the repair in 30 minutes and was able to show me and explain the repair and why it was repairable and didn’t need to be replaced. Nice to find a company with integrity that isn’t just looking to upsell

I have used ZPlumberz multiple times. They are very transparent and fair with pricing and do excellent work. I refuse to use any other plumbing companies after I started working with them.

Had a ruptured water heater in my attic over the holiday weekend. I called Tony and he had a crew out here in about 30-minutes. Got it drained and replaced in just a few short hours. The guys were professional and cleaned up when they were done. Super happy with the work and fast response time. I love that they are a locally owned dallas plumbing company and not part of a big private equity backed group. I would hihgly reccommend them to anyone looking for a quality dallas plumber!

Overnight, we discovered all our toilets were backing up. Plunging did not help. I called Z Plumberz at 7 am and their crew was here by 8:45 am. They diagnosed the problem was a clog just outside our property in the alley, but opened it up enough that all our toilets and sinks flowed freely. I immediately contacted the city water department and a repair is planned. Malachi and Victor were professional, polite, and worked until the problem was solved. I highly recommend Z Plumberz.

These guys did a great job for an excellent value. Their bid to replace the water and sewer line was like half of what most other larger companies bid. Tony is generally good at communicating what’s going on as his crews don’t speak good English (like many contractors in the area). He gave me a price over the phone for a water main line and sewer line replacement and didn’t send a formal “estimate” so all I had was a verbal agreement, but he honored it and even with a bit of extra/unexpected work that ended up being involved, and still charged what he said it would cost. I would use them again.

Malachi & JR were great! They were able to come within a couple hours of me calling for help and did a great job upgrading the hardware we needed for our sink. All done right before bad weather hit!

Thankyou for getting out to our emergency at our sneaker store. We appreciate being able to come into a clean store in the morning.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Z Plumberz for a repair and renovation project in my guest bathroom, and I couldn't be happier with the service provided. From the moment Jose arrived, his promptness and professionalism were evident. He tackled the job with dedication, ensuring that every aspect was handled properly. What impressed me most was his commitment to excellence, going above and beyond by making additional trips to the hardware store to acquire necessary materials.
I also want to commend Tony, the owner of Z Plumberz, for his exceptional communication throughout the process. He made sure to keep me informed and ensured that I was completely satisfied with the work being done. It's clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority for the team at Z Plumberz.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Z Plumberz to anyone in need of plumbing repair or renovation services. Their expertise, professionalism, and dedication to customer satisfaction make them stand out in the industry. Thank you, Tony, Jose, and the entire Z Plumberz team, for a job well done! -
I’m very impressed with the professionalism and knowledge of Z Plumberz. We moved into an old house from the 60s, which is filled with generations of repairs - some which were done DYI. Malachi was able to investigate the house and find some short cuts taken by the previous residents which led to a slow leak. He was able to work quickly and efficiently to undo the DIY patchwork and create a custom solution to keep my plumping healthy long term. I hope I don’t need to call these guys soon, but I won’t think twice if I need a plumber.

My neighbor recommended this company when I needed a plumber to fix a water leak. Malachi and JR came to the rescue, and they are wonderful! Very knowledgeable and professional. They explained what they would do and made the minimal amount of cuts in the wall to get to the issue. And they CLEANED UP THEIR MESS! That was a nice touch.

They came to the rescue. I had to have my entire house re-plumbed and they were able to do it efficiently and for a reasonable price. They were very honest and great to work with. I highly recommend these folks for any plumbing needs.

Z Plumberz of North Dallas was referred by our home warranty company. The hot water was not working in the washing machine. I suspected a graument needed to be replaced in the faucet. The repair tech reported to our warranty company the faucet had corrosion and our claim was denied. Z plumbers then said it would cost over $650 to repair. I replaced the graument in 15 minutes and repaired the faucet. I don’t appreciate this company trying to rip us off.

Z Plumberz was called out to my property from the home warranty services than I have for the house. Wasn't sure what to expect, I was very pleasantly surprised at their attention to detail. They showed me the reason for the repair needed they showed me ways to keep it from happening again. They were also really good with detail including the cleanup. I will definitely be using them in the future if needed. Wanted to say a big thank you to Malachi and Victor for getting us back up and running.

Z Plumberz talked us into a job on which they vastly OVERCHARGED us, LIED about the permit and inspection, falsified papers with the city and left a mess after collecting $17,000.
I hope people will see this and decide to give their business elsewhere.
What happened: At first, we just needed a simpler plumber to fix poor drainage on one toilet, and a quick check of a possible water leak. The Z Plumberz quote was 2 hours at $195/hour – all good.
The kid who came could not fix the toilet drain and during the leak inspection, he (accidentally) aggravated the water pipe and caused a bigger leak. We had to shut off all water in the house and either be 100% without water (think no flushing, showers or running water!) or agree to an immediate repair by this company for $10,000, then $15,000, then $17,000. They made it sound like a huge job with breaking and replacing the sidewalk, needing a big city inspection etc.
In reality, they just sent 1-2 workers who mostly just dillydallied (SEE PICTURE) and finished fast. The job consisted of digging a trench and putting in a new plastic pipe to connect to water supply from the street. One of the workers looked under 15.
So when we received the $17,000 bill, we followed up with the company to check if they meant to charge us basically a $600/hr rate for each hour of each person. The company owner (Tony) said yes that was the price. He got wishy-washy when we asked for the proof of inspection (which was part of the pricing). He even offered me a $1,000 back to 'not worry about the inspection’. I refused and said if they didn’t provide the proof in the next 3 days, I’d call the city.
In 3 days, we learned that the company had never even gotten a permit, and only snuck it in after they realized we wouldn't let go of the proof of inspection. Only then did they file a permit with FAKE information about the job date and price. On the permit filed, Z Plumberz stated the job value as $6,000 (not $17,000 we actually had to pay). Btw, $6,000 would have been about right; ~$200 hourly rate for the hours worked.
We let the company know that we had learned of their fake permit and pricing. The final icing was some days later. To our shock, we found Z Plumberz on our property digging without our knowledge! Apparently they came to expose the pipe for the city inspector (so it looked like this was a fresh job). After the inspection, they did not come back to put back the dirt. We had to follow up 3x and only got run-around. Only after threatening to take legal action, they eventually came to cover up the dirt (not nicely).
I would sincerely advise other consumers to avoid this company at all costs. -
J. literally saved our house from a catastrophic level of damage from water backing up from our air conditioning system. He would not cease his work, which lasted longer than either of us expected, until he cleared the lines pushing back water from our air conditioning system and avoided any further problem. He also suggested protective ways to minimize the potential for the problem to return. He came at night and remained late to accomplish this mission. We couldn’t have been more appreciative of his efforts and the service quality he provided. He apprentice was there supporting the effort all the way, demonstrating his readiness to take the first position in the near future.

The crew at Metro Flow Plumbing have done an amazing job on a septic to sewer hook up in Southlake TX. They have been wonderful to work with inspite of all kinds of problems with the elevation, the old tree roots and the city not marking a water line. They explain everything that was going to happen each day clearly. Boy does Southlake know how to fix a water problem when they need too. They came with a monster truck and had a crew that jumped right in and went to work.

Romero arrived within scheduled time. Performed task at hand flawlessly. Asked us if we have other concern's on the water heater. Overall we are very satisfied with the service.
