Window Installation reviews in El Paso, Texas

Last year I gave David and Sun City Glass a glowing 5 star review, but less than a year later I found out that David doesn't stand behind his work. When I told him about the condensation problem (see photos) between the panes of the double pane window he sold and installed for me less than a year ago, he informed me that the warranty is for only 90 days and that I would have to pay him yet again to fix it. $425 down the drain. For a similar price I could have (and should have) gone with Window World's lifetime warranty. An expensive mistake on my part. Buyer beware.

I scheduled an appointment with Waldo's Glass from 12-2pm about 4 days out. I had already received a rough estimate, and they were coming to verify the job.

On the day of the appointment, I received a phone call at 855am from Waldo's verifying the time of the appointment. My family waited all day and around 3:30pm I called to verify the technician was still coming. I was told a technician came at 1130 and no one answered the door. I asked if they left a note or anything verifying they came. The office manager said no, they just rang the doorbell. Considering I had two people waiting and dogs that alert us to anyone at the door, I highly doubt they stopped by.

I asked if you came outside of the appointment time, why didn't you call to let us know you would be early.
I was told it was not the Waldo's policy to notify the customer of a time change unless they requested it. I said you gave me a two hour window for the appointment, I would assume you would come during the timeframe. I was told they could come back 4 days later.

After some back and forth I was told by the office manager that there are several other glass professionals in town that do similar service.

Now that my time has been wasted I will reach out to those other businesses for service.

Beautiful work!!! We had an accidental break in our living room window, I called several glass replacement businesses and David was the only one to show up. He gave us several options to pick from, kept in touch with us to let us know that he hadn't forgotten about us while awaiting for the glass. When our glass was ready he and his son came and installed it, I loved the fact that he paid attention to detail as the caulking was perfect. My husband was impressed when David even tipped the guys that delivered the glass. All I can say is we will definitely call him back to do other glass replacement around our home.

They were always very responsive and prompt from the beginning. The design of the shower enclosure is perfect and it looks absolutely amazing! So happy I decided to use them!

David was attentive and professional all the way. We came home to find our front window cracked beyond repair. David was out here within an hour of our conversation. He replaced the window quickly and gave us a very reasonable price. Have added Sun City Glass to our contact list. You won't be disappointed!

Several months ago, we called and set up an appointment for someone to come out and measure for window shades for our great room. They did. Then we were told we had to go to the showroom and pick out our shade type and colors, in order to get an estimate. We did. We were also told by Rosie, that they would get back to us with an estimate the next day. They didn't. We called a week later and Rosie said she was sorry about that and would call us back in an hour. She didn't. Today weeks later, we called and they still couldn't give us our estimate. This certainly is bad customer service from the get go. I can only imagine if we had placed an order for our shades and paid a deposit for them, what would of happened! BEWARE of doing business with a company like this, who does not care about their customers!

Had some re-screening done on four windows. Work was top notch and done in a timely manner. Will definitely use their services again.

Horrible customer service!!! Mike came out and provided a quote for a custom vanity mirror which I accepted. He instructed me to install the lights (thought this was weird but complied). I've been calling both the company and Mike to install mirror since without success. No return phone call, no mirror. I've gone with another company. Don't waste your time!!! Go with another company

If anyone is looking for the best price along with the best customer service, I would absolutely recommend Waldos glass! Everything from when the quote was given, to the communication and finally the installation was better than I could have hoped for. The team did an excellent job. I had a very bad experience with installers in the past, and these installers were completely different. They worked very hard and cleaned up their workspace. They could not have done better.

As we prepare to sell our home, I found myself needing a window screen repaired. From all businesses I found on Yelp or Google, they were the only ones able to repair the screen within the day and for a very reasonable price.

Service was courteous, fast, and of quality. I ended up paying $15 for just one window screen.

I stand by my initial review, I DID call several times and asked for the manager. Why would I deliberately pay someone else to fix this if they responded? Lesson learned.

We had them replace two lanes of glass on a house we were selling. As we live out of town we asked if we could pay by phone and just have the gate unlocked which they said yes, which was very convient. We checked the work two weeks later and one of the Windows was cracked. We called them and they said they would send someone out in a couple days to fix it, which they did. I found them trustworthy, affordable, prompt. They stand behind their work. I would use them again.

Update.
The house entrance was being cleaned so of course windows were being washed.
I was turning on candles when I noticed a LOT of water coming in through my window. A whole lot more water was on the floor but it was being cleaned as I took the picture.
Not sure what happened.

Excellent quality with a moderate price. The receptionist-coordinator was great. She took my order over the phone and I got home from a business trip to a great sliding door screen that exceeded expectations. Thank you.

We needed a window replaced in our living room that was hard to reach ("moon window"). We contacted this company to see if they could do it in a timely manner. Oswaldo himself came out, said he could do it, and called the office. Yvonne at the office called us back within 10 minutes with an estimate. They ordered the glass, called us when it was ready (2 days later) and scheduled the appt asap. Oswaldo came out and replaced the glass within 20 minutes - super quiet too!

I HIGHLY recommend this company if you need assistance with window replacement. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Price was right too!

Waldo's Glass Came out quickly and was on time for their appointment. The office staff was professional in handling our request, The workers who came to our home really took the time to explain everything we had questions on and were extremely helpful. Prices were great. The installation was quick and professionally done. Thank you for being a great organization!
