Josh has built a very good company with excellent communication, well-trained employees, good service, and fair prices. Our disposal install was not rushed and was handled very well by a thoughtful technician who did a great job. Will contact them in the future.

UPDATE 9/9/2024: We just had a major pipe fixed under our foundation which had been installed or built wrong probably since the beginning of the house. We have had poor draining and clogs for a while now. Great communication and service and a fair price. Highly recommended, still!

I called D R Plumbing and spoke with Josh about repairing / replacing the venting system on my gas water heater . He was very responsive to my situation and arrived at my house the same day to perform the required work . He was able to use most of the existing materials which saved me money and now I can sleep well knowing my unit is safe . Responsive, professional and knowledgeable- I highly recommend D R Plumbing. The plumber that was assigned to our issue today was Greg. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. It is obvious that customer appreciation is a high priority with DR Plumbing. It is great to have a local company come to our home and not just want to rip you off. These honest people are upfront and follow through with what they say they will do for you. I recently had my bathroom remodeled by Dr. Plumbing, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Josh, the owner, was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with from start to finish. He took the time to understand what I wanted and offered helpful suggestions to make the most of the space.

They did some plumbing work for me to resolve a leak that my smart meter was telling me I had. I also got a PRV installed to reduce my high water pressure (been thinking about getting one for years because I have high water pressure where I live in Lantana). They had to dig up and find my customer shut-off because it was buried... so now I can actually use my customer shut-off with a new lever handle (which was also raised so I can actually reach it now).

When all that was done, they were able to isolate my leak to the water meter connection and a cracked plastic fitting (thank goodness it was not under my slab).

And they did all this significantly cheaper than if I had used a big name company... and to top it off, I got a 5 year warranty on the workmanship and parts, including PRV. The big guys told me they would only give a 1 year warranty.

I'm so glad I found Josh and the team at DR Plumbing. We were doing a remodel and they did everything from installing tubs and commodes to fixtures, all was done correct the first time. Later, I was having issues with a pilot light on one of my hot water heaters and I wanted to try tankless. I called Josh and he was able to install a fantastic system the next day. Loving tankless so much we are building a house and installing it again. It's nice to have a plumber you can trust to do great work!

Looked up plumbers in Flower Mound Cares on Facebook and DR Plumbing was highly recommend so I called them about a clog I was had with my dual vanity sink, I explained what I did to resolve the issue and DR Plumbing gave me a recommendation to unclog the sink without ever coming out or charging me. I know who I will be using moving forward. Excellent service and free advice.

I can not recommend DR Plumbing enough. They deserve way more than 5 stars. My water heater went out. We were working with another company that was not being responsive. I called Josh and he came right out. He looked at the set up and gave me several options, all very fairly priced. If we ever need a plumber again we will be calling Josh first

We had the kitchen sink that wouldn’t drain and I tried everything went in through the clean out at the kitchen ran the snake in 50’ went in through the front clean out ran the snake in 50’ went in through the vent pipe and still no luck. Called DR Plumbing and he came out and ran his snake all the way through to the front clean out and pulled it out and tested it and we still had clogged pipe. We were thinking the worst now. So any way I went to work and when I got back home I was going to give it another shot and started the process to drain the full lines under the sink when I removed the first one I was expecting water and there wasn’t anything that was a surprise considering I’d been trying all weekend to get them clear. So I connected it back and turned on the faucet and let it run and run and run waiting for the sink to start backing up still waiting so I go look at the clean out in front and the water was flowing through the drain. DR Plumbing must have busted it up enough for it to finally break loose. Long story short great company great customer service if and when I need a plumber it will be DR Plumbing!!!

PS he also gave information on a product to use regularly and the best part he waived the fee!
