Appliance Repair reviews in Fort Worth, Texas

Been taking my detachable blades here for years .. Thought they was not sharpening them like in the past until I took my clippers inside the instantly knew what the problem was fixed them now they're cutting like they're brand new! Definitely highly recommend them for all your clipper needs!!!

I brought my wifes kitchenaid mixer to them for repair, and they did an excellent job. Hassle free drop off and pick up, free diagnostic letting me know the issue and cost to repair prior to repair, and good communication. Best of all, our mixer works again and at a fair price. I will recommend this place to anyone who needs this type of work done. Not many places will work on them, so this is a place to save.

It wasn't long ago when I took my Sunbeam Model 7 Mixmaster in because it wouldn't power on. The unit has been in the family since new, and I also knew lightly used. Their tech just didn't want to work on it, and brushed me off, telling me the motor was burned up. I knew that was baloney because of the unit's one-owner history, and no odors or evidence the motor was truly burned. I DON'T WANT A NEW MIXER so I asked a family member to help who knew of a shop in Austin that would approach the problem rather than try to sell me something else. They indeed did fix it, as some spring inside had come off and caused the connection to the motor to loosen. I paid them well more than the price of a new mixer to have it fixed, no thanks to this place. Some customers like myself want what I have repaired for a variety of reasons, and are willing to pay fairly to have something fixed rather than throw it out. This thing is 84 years old, performing flawlessly, where the case isn't even scratched, and looks like the day my granny brought it home right before WWII. I haven't asked this place to repair anything since.

They did a great job repairing my Wahl Bravura clippers! I dropped them off and it only took 2 days. They work like brand new and pricing was great! Staff was awesome!

Be sure and test your sharpening before you leave!!! I've been a customer for years and it's been good 80% of the time. This last time I had my edger blade sharpened and got it back to the salon and it wouldn't cut at all. I couldn't remember what the guarantee timeline was, but it was past it by a few days so they said I have to pay again. I understand standing by the guarantee but you shouldn't treat the customer with less regard and respect because they are frustrated and understanbly so. I had to make due at my business and had to go back again and pay again because it was not right to begin with. Shouldn't they have tested it before handing it to me. As the cashier checked me out she just had to boldly state the guarantee timeline again, knowing full well I was already told. I will be going elsewhere

Just like Patricia in the comments below, i had a similar experience, but worse. I also have used them for over 10 years and have had a few issues in the past, but nothing like this. I’m a professional groomer and took a dryer in to be repaired. For anyone reading, there are only a few parts to a dryer. So i took it in and got a phone call the very next morning saying it was fixed. Now anyone that has used ft worth shaver, they have been known to take their sweet time. So i was already suspicious. They told me over the phone that it was the brushes. So i drive over an hour to go pick it up. They didn’t have a hose in the store for me to test it so i took it back. The next day it was still broken exactly how i gave it to them. I took it back, this time they told me they needed to replace the motor. Okay fine, whatever it needs, just FIX IT. They called the next day and said it was ready, i went to go pick it up and when i got there even though i didn’t have the hose i still wanted to turn it on. So they plugged it in and before i even left i told them that it still didn’t feel like it was blowing strong but they assured me that it was fixed. The next day…. STILL BROKEN, and this time it’s smells like it’s burning and it’s getting extremely hot. So my co-workers and i decided to take it apart to look at this “brand new motor”, it looked worn and had a scratch right down the middle.
So i called and I’m pretty mad at this point and they tell me now that it is a faulty motor from the manufacture. I asked if this was a regular thing that happened and they said yes….. so i drive BACK up and this time they don’t call me. 4 days later i called them and asked if it was ready, they said yes. Monday i went to go pick it up and i have them turn it on and it’s STILL BROKEN. I’m not making this up.. it’s too stupid and i desperately need a dryer. So no exaggeration on my end. I ask to speak to the technician, he’s not in. So a man comes around from the back and agrees that it’s not working, i look at the motor on the inside and it has the EXACT same scratch down the middle. Now I’m beyond done, i will NEVER use this business again and i will tell absolutely everyone i know in the grooming community as well as anyone looking for appliances repaired about this customer service. Oh and it gets better. Not only did they only give half of a refund, but i wanted to take the dryer back to find someone who s competent to fix it, and they told me it will be 10 min. I asked why. They said they needed to take the motor out since i got a “refund”…. WHAT!!???? Have you ever heard of that????? It was a broken motor, what the hell are they going to do with it. Not only that, but i brought the damn dryer to them with brushes and a motor, and i got back an empty piece of plastic…. If you want to lose money and waste your time on a worthless company who will screw you, then this is the place. They are moving locations soon and i will be telling EVERYONE where they’re going :) picture of the worthless piece of plastic they gave me. Oh and their advice was just to “buy a new dryer”… imagine that -
Just got my equipment back from servicing. Clippers run so much better! The service was incredibly fast!

They must have changed hands. I took my mixer in & they told me they only sharpen & repair shavers. Seems fishy- like an unsustainable business model.
-
Great service! Very attentive, professional and caring. Got the job done. Thank you so very much!!!

We had a lamp socket go bad and didn’t want to do ourselves. We received friendly service, a prompt repair and a reasonable price. They have much more in terms of grooming and barbering supplies. Would recommend to a friend.

I purchased a ride line maker and the customer service after the purchase was excellent! They are now my go to for sharpening supplies.

Review is from Paws & Relax Mansfield dog grooming. Super helpful staff and reasonably priced. We have nothing but good things to say about this place. We will go here for future grooming supplies.

I’ve been meaning to leave this review for months. Every time I use my mixer, I’m reminded of how frustrating this experience was.
I called ahead to confirm they service KitchenAid mixers before bringing mine in. When I dropped it off, I was told the turnaround time would be 2–3 weeks.
The very next day I received a call saying they actually don’t service my mixer. I asked for clarification, and they said they would still perform routine maintenance, but if any repairs were needed in the future, they wouldn’t be able to help. The call ended with them repeating the 2–3 week timeline.
Then the following day, I got another call telling me to come pick up my mixer because it was ready. I asked how the maintenance could possibly have been completed so quickly. They didn’t answer my question—just told me to come pick it up.
When I arrived, I asked again whether the issues I mentioned were addressed and whether routine maintenance had been completed. I was told yes and charged $75.
Unfortunately, after using the mixer multiple times since then, it’s obvious that nothing was done. The issues I originally mentioned are still present, and there’s no indication that any maintenance was performed.
The whole experience felt dishonest and like I was simply charged for work that never happened.
I would not recommend this business. My next call will be to KitchenAid and the Better Business Bureau. -

My washing machine started leaking so I was desperately trying to find someone. Everyone I tried couldn't come for over a week. I reached out to Frank and he called me back within just a few minutes and then was at my house within 20! I highly recommend him and plan to give his information to anyone who needs it.

This guy is great. My fridge and microwave went out in a power surge caused by lightening. He answered my call promptly. He came in a few hours on a Saturday. Fixed both problems in under an hour. Very cheerful. Very polite. Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

After a weekend of various outside activities, we had a laundry mountain to climb and a washer that failed. My SO had a guy he used previously and called him first, he couldn't give us a day let alone a time he could make it. I texted Frank and he was here within the hour. He is fast (same-day response each time) and friendly and professional. I can't recommend him enough. This is the second time that my SO's guy put us off and Frank came to the rescue. Now our only call will be to Frank.
