From a initial phone query a year ago, Todd was professional, knowledgeable and truly has your best interest at heart. He provided me with honest opinions and recommended that I go through home warranty for an issue with one of my units.

A year later, I still have Todd's number saved. I called him for our summer maintenance and a replacement component. After examination, he determined that this part wasn't needed and saved me an unnecessary expense. Highly recommended.

Honesty, transparency, and speed. In an industry full of used car salesmen tactics, working with Todd is a refreshing experience. A big company tried to charge us $21,000 so we called Todd for a second opinion and he told us it was a $500 fix and got it done in less than an hour. Do yourself a favor and call him for any HVAC issues.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Todd. My system had a couple issues over the course of several days. He was patient and prompt in getting us taken care of. Responded to all my odd hour texts. He didn't even charge me for the second housecall! I'll be using him for all my future needs and highly recommend him to anyone who's needing service on their HVAC system. :)

AC stopped cooling throughout the day, so I reach out via text in the middle of the night and Todd, the owner, confirmed a same-day appointment. He came and replaced the broken piece in minutes. AC is back in great working condition, with 5 year parts and labor warranty. And the best part? I didn't have to jump on a call with anyone to set the appointment.

8.13.2024-My a/c went out Monday night. Searched for companies Tuesday morning and found this company because of their $39 offer, if I chose not to have services performed after the diagnostic. I called first, they were busy and the voicemail said I could text. I requested an appointment via text. Tech, Todd, was at my house before 3:30pm and had a diagnosis in less than 10 minutes (closer to five). It turned out it was the capacitor, $250 w/labor. Service completed in just a few minutes. I wasn’t there in person (he gave me the diagnoses over the phone) , but my adult son said that Todd was very nice & professional. I will use this company again if needed.

Todd came out within only a few hours of my call, he spent a fair amount of time getting to know my system and leveled with me on what my problem was and what options I had, including options of going with another company. Hard to be happy when getting told you need a new expensive HVAC system, but I greatly appreciate his honest, blut and informed advice.

I randomly looked up Texas Discount Air and filled up a form online for a quick diagnosis ( they had unbeatable rates for a service call $29 ).I received a SMS to confirm and schedule. Todd arrived on time, diagnosed and fixed the problem in a flash and even did not charge me coz it was a simple fix. WOW!!! Who does that anymore ?

My family started working with Todd four years ago and he has been very consistent, very knowledgeable and time-sensitive. Todd came out today from Texas discount air and he was very helpful. This company was prompt and on time and spoke thoroughly with us about our ac system. We recently had another company come out who gave us a very expensive quick fix Todd could have done the same to make a quick but but he didn’t he gave us the truth and gave us options! I called Texas Discount Air due to an issue with my AC unable to keep up with the temperature set. Todd came over the next morning on time and was able to quickly diagnose the issue and walked me through the next steps to fix it. He informed me that the issue is most likely due to the frequent power outages I have had within the past month that shorted my compressors, so I would have to reach out to the utility company. Todd could have easily sold me a service he offered, but instead, he didn't even charge me a service call fee. As a first-time home owner, it is a blessing to have someone as honest and helpful as Todd; Texas Discount Air & Todd have earned a life-long customer as long as I am in the area.

Todd, the owner, came over right away and even had to come back the next day after I installed smart thermostats. He's a small business with a small group of professionals working for him. He quoted me $100 for what I asked to do, but even after both visits he wouldn't accept any money from me although I even insisted and also tried throwing money at him. I'm not sure how he makes money but this clearly is a trustworthy owner who is willing to help anyone in need. I'll use him in the future for years to come for sure. I'm the kind of customer that feels obligated to pay for work and services performed and I'm a little shocked but definitely feel blessed as we just moved into a house that hasn't been taken care of. Todd came out the next morning, diagnosed the problem quickly, educated me on general maintenance, and most importantly was honest and didn’t sell me anything I didn’t need. Todd runs a first class operation. He has helped us with 3 issues we had with our 2 AC systems. He provides honest evaluations, pricing and he has been incredibly responsive, even on weekends. In fact, when I called Todd when we had a blockage he took the time to walk me through a possible solution that cost me nothing, where most other companies would have insisted they needed to replace the drain line.
