Todd came out same day to look at our a/c. Although it wasn't great news, he was pleasant and knowledgeable about all our options. Very trustworthy, like talking to a friend.

Todd came from outside of his servicing area to help me out. When he found the issue, he explained how I could fix it myself, then didn't charge me for the trip! It's rare to find genuinely good people out there, but Todd is one of them. I will be sure to reach out to him for any issues I may encounter in the future.

Excellent service. My AC started acting up late in the day by not cooling and after a little research I found this company. Honestly, it’s hard not to give them a try with all the positive reviews, so I figured why not. I filled out the online form in the evening on a Sunday and was contacted first thing in the morning on Monday to schedule a time slot same day. Todd showed up when scheduled, pretty much right on time. He diagnosed the issue within two minutes, told me exactly how much I would pay, and fixed the issue in about 15 minutes. Even stayed an extra 5-10 minutes just to make sure the AC stayed running, which it did. Very appreciative of the quick, professional service and the insights Todd provided while he was working. It’s always good to hear/see someone take their job seriously and get it done quickly and correctly. I will be using them again in the future.

Our AC was blowing hot air and it was 100°+ F outside. I needed someone to come by asap. I had sprayed the unit with water and felt some improvement but I still needed expert advice. I called two other companies, they didn’t answer (given it was a Sunday afternoon, my hope was little). After reading positive reviews on Texas Discount Air, I decided to give them a call.
And I’m so lucky to have reached out to this company. Todd responded within the hour. He explained to us that we did the right thing by spraying the unit down with water as it was very dirty. He said our unit was still in good condition.
I’m so grateful to Todd, he is honest. He didn’t charge us $29.00 service fee. I offered him a tip and he declined.
Now I know this company is reliable and trustworthy. I sure will be using them again. They’re on my phone call log now and will recommend them to my family and friends.

When we bought our house last year, almost immediately we started experiencing issues with the AC unit. We were in the home maybe 2 months before we noticed there was a problem. We had two different AC experts come out to our house. One of the guys said there was a leak and it needed to be completely replaced. (Mind you, this same guy replaced my full system at our rental property back in 2021 so I trusted his assessment) but I always like to get a second opinion and was told again it needed to be replaced by the second company. We have two units. One for up and one for down. We were quoted $12K for both units, which isnt bad but still a cost we were dreading, especiallylly since we just bought the home. We end up holding off and just endured the warmer months last summer, our bills though were outrageous and the house was sweltering most days. Fast forward to last week, same issues started to occur of course since we never replaced the units. Being pregnant there was no way I was going to just “endure” this summer again!!! I called one last company that was recommended by chance on Friday, he was there by Saturday at 8am, was on time, and very friendly. We told him what we thought was wrong with the system and what the other two professionals had told us. He said okay and went to work. About 30 minutes later , he comes inside and begins to explain to my husband what was wrong and what all he did to fix it, and that there was NO leak and the system is still in great condition, then he abrubtly says “Alright you’re all fixed up. And today there is NO charge but call me back out of it starts acting up again for some reason, but I know it wont. “ Then he bolts out the door.
David and i look at each other dumb founded. I mean, not even the service fee?? David goes after him, literally running to his truck, by this time the guy is already pulling off. David comes back inside I hand him my phone to call him so we can insist on paying him. Todd tells David, he’s been in business over 20 years and no one has ever been successful in talking him into taking money when he says NO CHARGE. He even refused us oaying the service charge at the very least!!! Fast forward to today, AC is working like a champ. Air so cold that I get chilly in the house and have to turn it off LOL. All for FREE when we were prepared to drop $12-$15k on a brand new system. We easily could have been taken advantage of!!! Thank you Todd Hoffman you are an Angel! God is great is all I can say! Look at God !!!!….and Call Todd for any AC needs! He is forever my AC guy!!! !! Seriously, what in life is ever free these days?!

I just took a hunch and called TDA and Todd picked up and came within 15 min. He did a fair diagnosis and explained what it was and how we could fix it ourselves! Honestly, I would trust calling him again even if it was something major to get the job done in a trustworthy manner. To top it off, he didn't just leave, he took the time to talk to us and share his story! Thank you Todd, stay blessed!

Todd was absolutely amazing! He was professional and courteous. He came during the time window he provided us and quickly diagnosed and fixed our AC issues. He provided my husband and I some pointers on what to look for in the future. I'm currently 8 months pregnant in the middle of summer and I've very thankful he was able to come quickly. Todd is awesome. We have used him for several years. Once, he came ASAP and diagnosed and fixed a small problem and didnt even charge us. When the unit did have a part break, he was honest and his prices were super fair - less than the other quotes we got. Can't recommend this business enough, 5/5 stars.
