I had the pleasure of working with Corey and Kent from Service Squad Plumbing after a recent foundation repair, and I couldn’t be more impressed. They arrived right on time, were incredibly responsive to my questions, and demonstrated deep knowledge and professionalism throughout the visit. They thoroughly inspected the plumbing to ensure there were no leaks and took the time to explain everything clearly, which really helped calm my concerns. I felt confident and well taken care of. I highly recommend Corey, Kent, and the entire Service Squad Plumbing team for anyone in need of reliable and top-notch service!

Service squad has been great with everything. They needed to comeback out to make some changes per city request and jumped on it without any questions. They stand behind there work and there name.

Very helpful! I had a plumbing test done that required some rescheduling and they were very patient and accommodating. Thank you for your help!

Kent was awesome. He came out for my plumbing inspection as a part of my membership. Usually those inspections are lame and aren't worth the price of the membership but this was not the case. He went above and beyond for some of my questions and never once tried to nickel and dime me. Great service and one of the few places the membership is actually worth it.

Trey was an excellent plumbing service technician checking for water leaks under our foundation as we were needing warranty work done on our foundation.
Trey was fast, efficient and productive with outstanding communication skills that you just don’t see in the service sector much anymore.
Trey was definitely a 5 star repairman.

Jarred Kinney with Service Squad. Professional, kind, informative. Got the job completed quickly. This company has great communication. I had a clogged drain in the bathroom. Cost was $220. I gave one less star for price. I'm not sure if that's a very good price. My plumber I had previously would charge $80-100 to run the snake to unclog a drain.

Service squad as a company is great, but even better than that, Jon Baker is extremely knowledgeable and gets the job done! I am extremely happy that I chose Service Squad and that they sent Jon!

My partner and I hired Service Squad for what should have been a straightforward plumbing job: replacing old cast iron drains with PVC under our side of a duplex and passing the city inspection. The HOA had already completed most of the excavation and foundation work. The plumber only needed to handle the extra digging, install the new pipe, and get it approved. Unfortunately, the experience turned into a frustrating ordeal.

Midway through the job, we received an unexpected $2500 work order in the mail with no phone call or explanation. This was especially stressful because we had already taken a bank loan for the original quoted amount. The extra cost came out of nowhere and made us question whether it was even necessary.

When the plumbers came back, they had no idea what the new work order was for. Once we told them, they began going back and forth about why it was needed. First they said our sewer might tie into the neighbor’s line, then they said there was an illegal fitting that would definitely leak, and later admitted that our lines only serve our own unit. There were no photos, videos, or written proof to support any of it, which made it hard to trust what was being said.

They also admitted it was their first time working on a single story duplex slab system, and that lack of experience showed. They pushed for the $2500 beam chipping and repair again, then reversed course and said we could try a partial replacement and retest instead. They asked us to sign a waiver, which felt like unnecessary pressure.

Their internal test passed, but the city’s inspection failed due to a small leak at a joint. The inspection was delayed because they forgot to contact the city on time. If we had not caught that leak, it could have become a major issue later. To make things worse, the foundation crew dropped an old cast iron pipe that punctured our copper water line. Our water had to be shut off the entire day while they returned to fix it. No one mentioned it but we discovered the problem ourselves when the faucet stopped running.

Even after the work was completed, our kitchen faucet has not flowed like it used to. We have had to troubleshoot it on our own because we do not feel comfortable calling them back. On top of that, my partner paid the remaining balance before we were fully satisfied with the job, which left us with no leverage when new issues appeared.

To their credit, the company later sent a small gift box with a lunchbox and cookies as a thank you for doing business. We appreciated that gesture, but it does not change that the entire process felt disorganized, inconsistent, and stressful.

If you use them, document everything, ask for proof before approving any extra work, and do not release payment until you are completely satisfied.

I had a plumbing crisis today and they came by 5:30 and fixed it. There's no way I could have waited until the next morning. I commute to Dallas every morning for work and really early. Great job ! Great price!
