The service was astounding. We are very pleased with the quality and professionalism of all the staff (technicians/site manager/service supervisor) that worked on our project. Names that we recall Travis MacDaniel, Chris Fontenot, Robin, Robbie, Mike... all friendly, careful with our pets and property, good communicators.

It has been a pleasure working with the Benjamin Franklin crew. I am crossing my fingers we won't need their services again, but if needed since our house is old, BF will be our first call.

Curtis came for the yearly visit, drain water heater and check plumbing, and delivered an above and beyond service. He detected issues not previously mentioned and provided estimates for whenever the issues needed to be fixed. Curtis knowledge and professionalism is gratefully acknowledge. I am aware Benjamin Franklin Plumbing services might not be the cheapest, but they certainly provide excellence and let me with a sense of security that nothing will fail.

Jose did all things right. Sent a message about the approximate arrival time (within the pre-arranged window of service), arrived on time, explained what he would be servicing, answered all my crazy questions thoroughly, and made recommendations for the things I should look out for.

Great service; great company.

I had the pleasure of working with plumber Alie Joseph from this company, and I couldn't be more impressed. He came out after hours to address a pressing issue, and his professionalism and courtesy were outstanding. Alie quickly diagnosed and resolved the problem with remarkable skill and efficiency. His dedication to customer service and his expert workmanship truly set him apart. I'm so glad to have found this company and will definitely be recommending them to others. Five stars!

UPDATE: I had my usual plumber come out to clear my kitchen sink blockage and they charged me $250 which is way lower than the $416 that this company was trying to charge me for the same exact services.

DETAILED REVIEW:
Made the mistake of trying a new plumbing service rather than sticking to my usual one. I had called this company for a kitchen drain blockage and was told they were running a $79 special for drain services. It had crossed my mind that the price seemed too good to be true but unfortunately I went against my better judgment and decided to give this company a try.

I found out the $79 price only included use of small tools such as a handheld snake which of course was not strong enough to clear the blockage in our kitchen sink. I was subsequently quoted $416 in order for them to use a motorized snake to clear the blockage which is significantly more expensive than what my previous plumbing company (Romance Plumbing Services) charged for the same services.

Only reason I didn’t put down a 1 star review is because the plumber that came out was professional, straightforward, and transparent about pricing prior to performing any services.

The technicians showed up when they said they would and gave me heads up prior to their arrival. Upon arrival, they were courteous, informative and professional. They completed the install of the new water heater in the estimated time frame and gave me a complete walk through of their work, answering all of my questions. Finally, they did a great job of cleaning up their work area and travel paths. I am very satisfied with the services I received today! Thank you!

I called about our water heater not being as hot as it used to be and running out of hot water quickly. Nick came out promptly and did a thorough check and testing of the unit, which turned out our heater was in good shape. So he checked the mixer valve in our shower and said that most likely it was the cause of the issues. He was very thorough and explained every step he was doing. After doing several tests and trouble shooting, I now have hotter water! He was so patient and very courteous to us. I highly recommend Nick and if we ever need a plumber again, I will ask for him because we trust him 100%!!

Called morning time with a problem and the business came out within a few hours. Was given good estimates of several situations that might be causing my problem with no pressure to do anything that was recommended until initial work to resolve the problem was done. My service representative was thorough and explained all the possibilities that might be causing the problem I had - no water pressure in my kitchen sink. I would recommend Arthur to assist anyone that might need work done because he genuinely was interested in helping me out. He did not hurry to get through with his work but worked at a even pace to finish as quickly as he could. His explanations were most helpful for me to understand my situation and he gave me good estimates of possible future work. I thank him for his interest and concern for my problem and appreciate his good attitude in helping me out. I definitely recommend Arthur as a good technician for the plumbing field in which he works.

I was impressed with their quick response time, and the plumber who came out was very friendly. However, I was disappointed by the lack of upfront pricing. I paid $50 just to get a quote of nearly $400 to reset a toilet, which they said might fix the problem.

After sharing my initial feedback, they reached out and offered to send a lead plumber for a reassessment. Unfortunately, the second visit also lacked transparency. I was quoted around $150—again, just to further assess the issue and provide the same information I already knew.

Frustrated, I decided to take a closer look myself. By removing six screws to inspect the plumbing, I was able to identify and fix the problem in just 15 minutes.

While I appreciate their responsiveness and courteous staff, better clarity around pricing and services would go a long way in improving the customer experience!

Clayton did an amazing job! He was professional, punctual, and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it with great attention to detail. Friendly and knowledgeable, he made the whole process stress-free. I highly recommend Clayton for any plumbing needs—excellent service all around!

5/1 - no refund has been issued so unfortunately this displays poor follow through.

Update 3/21 - still awaiting my refund….

Update** - Got a call from Mike a service manager. He listened to the situation and was quick to acknowledge that an error was made and that the situation was not properly handled. We reached a resolution that included a refund but more importantly restored my perspective on the company. In the future, I am more inclined to use Benjamin Franklin now that I have had this positive interaction. Service done well makes long lasting customers!

Had a gas leak and needed quick repair for my water heater. No issue with the service when the tech showed up or cost. The issue came after signing up for the service agreement which the technician recommended. The issue came from the fact that the service agreement was signed by my tenant and not with me the homeowner. The technician told the tenant (while I was on the phone so I could hear it) that to cancel the agreement you could do it anytime after 30 days. He also stated it would save a % of the up front cost for repair. Seemed like a win win but later came the fine print. Fast forward a few months, my tenant needed to move out and attempted to cancel the agreement. When he reached out, he was told that the only options would be the pay out the remaining cost of the service agreement. This was directly contradictory to what he and I had both been told by the technician. The customer care representative - LaKisha S. also stated that "the tenant should never have been able to sign the agreement since the technicians are trained to only have home owners sign due to the coverage not staying with the property in the event the tenant moves out."

The end of the story was that I paid the $200+ "buy out" for the policy and will receive nothing in terms of coverage. This whole situation could have easily been resolved with a compromise when the service representative clearly did not fully understand the customer situation and recommended the policy. The result was extra money and a lost customer (me). Now that I know this is how Benjamin Franklin Plumbing handles customer service issues, I will never recommend them or use them again.

Its unfortunate because there were many opportunities for the customer service rep to resolve the issue, especially when they admitted that errors had been made. I hope others will keep in mind the fine print and avoid doing business with this place.

To the leadership for the Fort Worth location, I would take a hard look at your training guidance for techs and evaluate how your customer reps resolve issues. This is a very poor experience that could have been avoided.

Nick Fontenot is very responsible, courteous , and knowledgeable. Nick had given us 3 prices to choose what would be best for my family. Nick ordered the materials and prepared the area so when his crew arrives they would be able to start. The installer Billy Cates and Hunter came with the water heater and parts and began their work Billy and Hunter were very efficient, courteous,fast,and knowledgeable. Billy was helpful and did a very clean and professional job. I will recommend Benjamin Franklin plumbing to my family and friends. Very Satisfied.

Hunter was knowledgable, respectful, and on time. He provided answers to all my questions. Would definitely recommend. Price is not high compare to other companies.

This company is the one you need to hire if you have any plumbing issue. Cody went above and beyond fixing our problem. He even educated us on what to do to prevent an event like this to occur in the future. Thank you Cody for being professional and honest, you just saved the day for us and also we appreciate helping us finding the switch that we have been looking for and showing us the tools that we need to have around the house.
