Affordable Air did a great job cleaning our air ducts for the second time over the last few years. We did the basic cleaning and it has already made a noticeable difference in our home’s air quality with the AC vents. Oscar and Nico were professional and caring. Thank you both!

Affordable air did a great job of installing the 3 new AC units in our house within a day. They also picked up the old units for us.

Room for improvement: Found some screws left in our driveway as the installation crew was going back and forth to their vehicles parked in our driveway during installation process. Calling it out because our son (20 months old) likes to walk, sometimes bare feet, and screws laying around is not good.

Had Affordable Air come out and give me a quote on duct cleaning. Turns out i needed a full system clean, it had never been done on this system (10+ years old). They came back a few days later and took care of the cleaning (full system clean including all ducts and vent covers) and even helped redirect some air flow to my kids rooms for no extra cost. I would definitely recommend them. Professional, on time and affordable.

UPDATE 7-7-25 CALLED ON SATURDAY MORNING, AFTER FINALLY GETTING IN TOUCH WITH SOMEONE THEY SAID THEY COULDN'T COME OUT TILL MONDAY MORNING SO I HAD TO SIT IN A HOT HOUSE ALL WEEKEND. JUST GOT A CALL FROM THEM AND THEY SAID THERE WOULD BE A $79 SERVICE CHARGE AND THE SYSTEM ISN'T EVEN 3 MONTHS OLD!!!

UPDATE 7-5-25 CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. MY AIR WAS NOT WORKING AFTER ONLY 3 MONTHS. I CALLED THE NUMBER THE FIRST TIME I HAD TO LEAVE A MESSAGE NO ONE RESPONDED AFTER 2 HOURS. I CALLED BACK AND SPOKE WITH SOMEONE WHO SAID THEY WOULD REACH OUT TO A TECH AND CALL ME BACK I STILL HAVE NOT HEARD FROM ANYONE. WHEN THEY INSTALLED MY SERVICE THEY DIDN'T SHOW ME HOW TO USE THE THERMOSTAT OR ANYTHING THEY JUST LEFT BECAUSE I GUESS THEY WERE MAD THEY WERE HERE SO LONG. I SPENT $13,000 MY HOUSE IS HOT I'M NOT GETTING ANY SERVICE. I GUESS THEY GOT MY MONEY SO THEY DON'T CARE ANYMORE

My salesperson Jeremy was great, he walked me through step by step the whole process and the different types of equipment. We scheduled an installation for that Saturday, my time was between 8:00 and 11:00 because I told them I work nights and I need to sleep so the earlier the better. The crew showed up at 10:30 and at 4:00 they informed my wife that they would have to quit and come back the next day otherwise they would be there too late. I did not spend $13,000 to have a day and a half of my time wasted. I called my salesman Jeremy and informed him of the situation , he made a call and the workers finished the job at 8:30 p.m.

They seemingly checked everything related to my A/C performance and condition. I say apparentlz, because I don´t stand behind him when they do the service, obviously. But as is looks, everything checked out. He was fast, curtious and efficient. The rating is not for the service, that would have been a five star rating. But $ 700 for a topping off of the freon seems a little out there. I had my entire system refilled for $ 650 about 6 years ago. Then again, it was six years ago, things might be a little different now.

Jeremy and his team did a wonderful job replacing our air duct. They made sure that the new air duct was properly installed, and they installed it in a way that I requested. They also cleaned up after the install and made sure all the trash have been picked up. I appreciate all their professionalism and good work. I will definitely recommend Affordable Air to our friends. Great job guys. Thank you.

As their tag line says "Trusted, reliable and Affordable". I found this to be true. Our HVAC needed to be replaced. Got several quotes. Affordable Air was the best offer. They had the right product at the right price. The process was straightforward and upfront with no gimmicks and no attempt to upsell. We went with them. They came, they worked diligent and completed the job. Their technicians were prompt, professional, courteous and experienced. The install was completed on time. Very pleased with the outcome.

The guys just were here to do my spring checkup on my new unit. They went up into the attic and changed the filter for me on the furnace and then went out back to check the cooling unit. Because it was too cold to check the Freon level in the new unit they checked that and topped off the unit for me which was a little low from the factory! They were both so courteous and professional. This is a great and reasonable company to do business with. You won't be disappointed.

I learned about Affordable Air from a coupon that came in the mail. They provided top-notch service from Jeremy who came to inspect my old equipment and provide me with a quote, Alexandra the operations director, Carlos and Nicolas who installed the equipment in a very hot attic. The A/C works great. Affordable Air provide the Lennox equipment with a 10 year parts and labor warranty. I highly recommend this company.

On 5/22/25 l worked with Affordable Air. I’ve been dealing with Affordable Air after locating their information from the Home Concepts magazine. When the tech arrived I told him my a/c unit was cooling yet not consistently. Another tech arrived shortly after. He advised that l needed 2 ECM fan motors or new units. Gave my adult son and I only 2 options. All recorded on our home camera with voice/sound. The tech advised that a new unit would cost $9k or new motors for $2500 each. He said I need 2. He stated the new motor would last 5-10 years. They were aware that my units were installed in 2011 because he asked when I purchased my house. As well as they saw the date on the units. My son asked should we get a 2nd opinion? The tech claimed they were the lowest option around. He also said that we needed to pay immediately so they could go get the “speciality” parts.

The tech showed up a couple of hours later after retrieving the parts. At 5pm he finished and said that both units were cooling and left. WELP, nope -the downstairs unit NEVER cooled. SO after speaking to the clerical staff several times and denied the opportunity of speaking directly to Jeremy, my son did a claim to dispute the charge. After paying $4500.00 the a/c isn’t cooling. They did give a military discount. Then on at 2:13pm they came back out. On May 27, 2025 at 3:53pm two new techs came out and said it needed refrigerant. Which would be another $750.
On May 29, 2025 at 2:13pm the original tech came out to load the refrigerant.Refrigerant was ONLY offered after we were told to purchase the fan motors. We weren’t shown any pictures or the old motors. Also I don’t routinely goes in my attic checking the HVAC system. Thus why l contacted them, supposedly the “experts” were called.

After returning home on June 8 and cutting the air on more a/c trouble persist. After a couple of hours, I noticed water spots in my ceiling near the vent. Contacted Affordable Air immediately that night. Later someone did call to say that l ‘d be contacted first thing in the morning. On June 9 at 11:17am a clerical staff called stating they couldn’t come out because the charge was being disputed by my bank. She was advised that after they added the refrigerant, we dropped the claim. She said that what I’m experiencing is all pre-existing issues. WELL of course that’s why we called you! If my units were too old and were beyond repair why put a new motor in them? IF l just needed refrigerant, why not offer that initially? Not after I spent $4500. This has been one of the worst experiences of home ownership that I have experienced. Just think if I would have left my a/c unit on all weekend? My home would have been flooded. We are now in June, in the heat of the summer.I’m still dealing with a/c issues and not comfortable at home due to heat. Now with water damage to attic and ceiling, which will require additional work. I don’t think they checked the lines to ensure they were clear. l was never informed nor was it in writing that the fan motors may not resolve my immediate problems. I’m not sure if the initial tech misdiagnosed my units incorrectly or installed the fan motor wrong, but I had no relief.

I’d advise any consumer to get a 2nd opinion before using Affordable Air. Buyer be ware!
