i called this company to speak to the manager on duty and Rachel decided she knew what i was calling about and hung up on me, after calling back 3 times she refused and kept saying we are not interested. YOU DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IM CALLING ABOUT, why would i want service from this company when they are far from polite to any caller.

The tech for Doctor appliance came to check out an Montgomery Ward Half size refrigerator. He explained that it actually used an newer type of freon. He told me that I was in luck because he just happened to have that type on his truck from a prior job. He said it even took a special type of gauges that he also had with him. Fridge now working excellent. Thanks for the professionalism from Dr. Appliance.

This is our second time using Doctor Appliance Repair. The first time was a couple years ago for the Refrigerators IceMaker. This time was the Oven and the Washer Machine.

In May, our Bosch downdraft vent hood would not lower and was frozen in the up position. We looked for Bosch appliance repair services on line. Doctor Appliances came up and their reviews were very good. Jermaine, a senior tech, came out and looked at the vent and told us the entire vent would have to be replaced. Unfortunately, the exact replacement was no longer available and a newer model would have to be ordered and installed. It was ordered in June and the replacement came but there was an electronic malfunction and the motor did not work. It was reordered and three months later it was installed. Bree, the office manager, was very good keeping us updated. It took quite a bit a time to install and at times it took the two of us to help the tech get it in place. He had to adjust it a few times to make it work. When finished, the vent would not go down unless you wiggled or adjusted the vent a certain position. At the end of the installation, the vent was still not positioned correctly on the island. Now, if you have the vent on, you cannot put any of the gas burners on simmer. It’s either high or medium to cook anything on the stove with the vent working. Plus they charged us $250 extra for installation on top of what we paid them.
We called Doctor Appliance and spoke to Bree about the dilemma, and she said she would let Jermaine know. We still haven’t heard from either of them. We are left with a very expensive downdraft vent that doesn’t go down properly and the burners won’t work on simmer when the vent is turned on.
I would not recommend this company for Bosch appliances. They’re friendly enough but they really weren’t up to the task. Plus we think it was their responsibility to fix the problems - the correct alignment and the burners not working properly when the vent is on.

Jermaine explained everything and knew what the issue was. He had the part on him and was able to fix it promptly. He said it was extremely common. The water input valve was full of sediment. He showed it to me and I thought that was very kind. I told him I really appreciated him giving me a fair and affordable estimate and repair.
