My parents just had our carpet cleaned by Roberto and Vidal this morning. Never used Blackmon Mooring before and I was very impressed. Such great attitude, very polite and hard working! We were faced with finding out that we had a very severe mold issue in our home! We were instructed that we couldn’t even go back into our home without protective gear on!

We never spent another night in our home after receiving the mold report and basically had the clothes on our backs to go forward from that day!

Not to mention the fact that we were sick from our exposure! As you can imagine this was an extremely scary and stressful time in our lives to say the least!

Then on a recommendation we were led to Blackmon Mooring!

Their presence and professionalism was outstanding!

Their team was truly like the ‘knights in shining armor’ coming in to save us from this nightmare we suddenly found ourselves in!

From our first contact with Glenn Ward who helped us set things up and guided us through the process all along the way, to Mary Pinales who led our moving team in the most outstanding way! I have never seen someone work as hard and diligently as Mary! She was thorough and detailed! While at the same time assuring us that our belongings would be cleaned and cared for until we could be reunited with them once our lives could get settled down once again!

Their entire team was so professional. Kind, caring and thorough! Every aspect of the move out was done methodically and documented!

They indeed all took the worry off of us of what would happen to our belongings! This was not a normal move, when it happens so very suddenly! No time to plan on our part, of where your life and belongings will be packed to go next!

Some of our belongings were a complete loss due to the mold exposure and some were determined that they could be saved!

Blackmon Mooring worked with the mold inspectors to determine the fate of the contents of our home! A lot of our items were totally non salvageable, Blackmon Mooring handled those for us, and others had to be put into quarantine and then cleaned!

They handled all of that too with an outstanding multi step cleaning system that they have! This took the worry out of being re exposed to mold when we got our belongings back, as our health and lives literally ‘depended’ on that! The bottom line is that you can indeed depend on Blackmon Mooring! I will be forever grateful to them and would highly recommend them to anyone!

The Blackmon Mooring team has been nothing but amazing. I’d like to personally thank the construction project manager David Perry for going above and beyond for our family. He guided us through the whole process and made things extremely easy. I hope I never have to use them again but if I do I would definitely use BMS.

My experience with BM has been very positive. When we came home late at night to discover water was coming from our downstairs ceiling and flooding most of the downstairs, we contacted BM. And even though it was getting close to midnight, BM immediately sent a crew out to address the water damage. I worked primarily with 3 individuals... one who lead the salvage/demo team, one who worked up the rebuild estimates for the the insurance company, and one who managed the rebuild project. All 3 were very professional and courteous. My insurance company worked well with them on both the salvage/demo and the rebuild costs and I was able to quickly receive checks to cover the costs. The salvage/demo team was able to salvage an expensive granite countertop from our bathroom vanity and the rebuild team was able to build a custom vanity that was better than the previous vanity and it was a perfect fit to the salvaged granite countertop. The rebuild team also replaced and repainted all of the damaged ceiling/walls and were able to closely match and replace a beautiful engineered hardwood floor. Despite this occurring over the holiday time frame, they were able to complete all work in a very timely fashion. My family and I are very pleased with the results.

Me and my husband purchased our new home but with having a little one it was going to be difficult to pack and relocate. I reached out to Blackmon Mooring of Houston. Amy Coker helped get us on the schedule to have all our items packed and relocated. They did a wonderful job. Would definitely use them again. Thank you so much.

My experience with BMS was solely for Personal Items that were damaged during my house fire. Evan Kilgo was awesome and the Project Coordinator for that. He provided me with above level service and transparency. Not so much for the construction side of things which is why I ultimately went with company for that but as far as the care and restoration of my electronics and textiles and the speed and with which he operated was beyond commendable and for that he alone deserves this review.

Evan with Blackmon Moorin was immediately responsive after the storm. He was very professional and explain step by step procedures and what I could expect to take place day by day. I was given his cellular number to contact with questions and/or concerns. I highly recommend Blackmon Morin.

Our experience was in two parts: remediation and reconstruction. The remediation team led by Evan Kilgo was fantastic. We lost our electric meter and breaker box when a large tree crushed our garage. The incoming power to the house had to be relocated along with the breaker box. The team had our house power restored within a week.

The construction side had a few challenges, some of which were insurance related. It did take a long time to get approval to start the reconstruction. Once we got going, the various contractors for different phases of the work were all talented, friendly and neat. The work was done very well. We would have appreciated a bit more contact from the construction PM. Maybe a weekly look ahead email or call.

Overall, no complaints. This company knows what it is doing and does a good job.

The work repairs that were done on our house and property were excellent. This consisted of fencing, roofing, and siding repairs. I recommend Blackmon Mooring to anyone looking for home repairs…. John Guidry

Blackmon Mooring recently did repairs on my house, following a pipe burst and subsequent flooding of a portion of my floor and walls. They did an excellent job and were always polite and professional. I especially want to praise David Perry, the job site project manager for all the help and assistance in the difficult time for us. He went above and beyond the call of duty to make the whole repair process less stressful for us.

DO NOT get scammed like we did. Our home suffered a huge fire in May 2022. These vultures showed up at 1am as we are all in the street watching the house burn. My husband and I were holding our deceased dog while their rep was trying to get us to agree to have them do our repairs. They were relentless and preyed upon our family while we were vulnerable and traumatized. They said the insurance would pay for everything. I asked multiple times how much things cost and would never get a straight answer. Peter failed to provide a quote or number or a range, he just said "it's a lot." After we utilized their services I repeatedly asked for over 6 months how much the bill was going to be thinking the insurance would hopefully cover the majority. After 6 months and multiple requests for information we finally received an email saying we had an outstanding $45,960 bill for their services. Their billable hours are more than most attorneys I know and they have kept my belongings hostage in storage, refusing to deliver them until the bill is paid in full. Just found out today they sent me to collections. Truly a disgusting company.

The company did a great job on mitigating the house shortly after fire incident in the house. The problem I ran into them when it came down to the construction side of it. They did not meet the deadline I was promised. Also the communication issues I had was they preferred texting, I had ask them to call me and refused it.
No follow up at all and it is taking a while to respond. I don’t care how busy you are but a little follow up here and their customer will appreciate it and will understand.

Blackmon Mooring has been great to work with as we dealt with construction related damages to our newer home. They arrived on time for every appointment, checked in to see how things were going, communicated well throughout the process, and remained detail oriented throughout. The work was completed thoroughly and response time was impeccable. I would highly recommend their services.
