Electrical reviews in Houston, Texas
-
I've been disappointed with my experience with IntegrateSun so far. I signed a contract with them in June 2025, and after 5 months, I'm still waiting for an installation date.
The process has been plagued by issues from the start. After receiving electric company approval and county permits at the end of August, I was informed that the permit cost an extra $500, which was not included in the original contract. I was given a change order to sign, but I was not provided an explanation for why a county building permit was unexpected and uncovered by the contract.
To make matters worse, I was told that the panels I originally signed for were on backorder, and I was asked to change to a slightly smaller capacity panel that was in stock. They did remove the extra permitting fee from my contract after I asked them to, it is still frustrating to be paying the original agreed price for a smaller system.
The delivery process was also a mess. The panels started arriving on October 24th, but it took a total of 5 separate deliveries spanning over a week to receive all the necessary materials. The final panels didn't arrive until November 3rd.
Throughout the process, I've had to follow up multiple times to get updates on the status of my project, and communication has been inconsistent. I've sent several emails, but it's taken a while to get responses. I'm concerned that the installation may not be completed in time for me to claim the tax credit that expires this year.
I would caution others to carefully review their contract and ask about their installation schedule before signing. I would also recommend following up regularly to ensure that the project is moving forward as planned. -
I had a very disappointing experience with this company. I signed with them last summer, obtained all permits and approvals by November but we never made it to install because they were unable to source panels. They had me switch to a lesser brand for availability but for 4-6+ weeks they were unable to confirm a delivery date, and eventually the federal tax rebate expired.
I saw other companies offering 30% off or a conversion to a lease but they offered no recourse. I even reached out to local companies and found one with panels and batteries ready to go, but IntegrateSun refused to source it from them because they weren’t making their margins. In the end, I paid $2500 to get out of my contract out of principle. I’d rather go with someone trustworthy even if I end up paying more.
A complete waste of time and money. -
The team at IntegrateSun that handled my system throughout the process was "Team Frank"
Overall, I am satisfied with the Quote process, installation of the equipment and the performance of the system.
If my memory is correct, when I first submitted my information through EnerySage I had requested quotes on systems that would completely offset my monthly/yearly energy usage with full home backup.
Integrate Sun's quote stated that the system would offset my energy usage by 110%, which it may do, but I also took this to indicate that I would have full home battery backup, which at this point I only have partial home backup.
I contribute this to me not knowing all of the questions to ask so that I fully understood and Integrate Sun probably should have done a better job of explaining to me where the shortfalls would be and what my options where. This is not really a complaint, more of a suggestion for future reference.
Again, Overall, I am satisfied with the Quote process, installation of the equipment and the performance of the system.
I would also like to mention that once we got past the Oncor utility upgrades that were required prior to beginning the installation, the installation process was very smooth and quick.

IntegrateSun sucks. Avoid and do not use. I’ve been working with them since around August 2025 and still have not completed the process. They made me miss out on the federal credit after ensuring me in August we would make the deadline. They also previously told me I could cancel if I wouldn’t receive the credit by only paying the permit fee ~$1,000.00 only to change it to I would have to pay 20% (over $5,000) if I want to cancel after they missed the deadline. Then they constantly try to offer me different panels because the one I originally wanted won’t be in stock for god knows how long. The company takes no accountability nor offer incentives to move forward. I’ve also switched between 3 different project managers and all of them seem to drop the ball. Run fast away from them. I wish there was a negative star I can select.

Border town with intense sun year-round. Solar made sense for us financially. EPE net metering is straightforward. Installation crew spoke Spanish which made my parents comfortable since they live with us. Good experience overall.

It was a stressful and hectic year for solar installers, but the team at IntegrateSun were fantastic, including Sam and Allen, and especially the PM supervisor Areej. She really stepped up to the plate and hit it out of the park! Her communication was excellent and she was always very prompt and professional. She was consistently responsive whenever issues arose, handled them efficiently, and made sure I was always informed and had a clear, honest understanding of the situation. I definitely recommend working with Areej and her team a IntegrateSun!

With the FTC credits coming to an end this year, I had my doubts they would be able to procure the panels and complete my installation by the end of the year. I appreciate Sid, my PM who worked tirelessly to overcome supply chain issues and a very full installation calendar and have my project completed. Installers were phenomenal as well, they worked Sunday and even Christmas day. So thankful for everyone at IntegrateSun that made my project successful.

Suburb north of OKC with typical suburban home. Installation was straightforward. OG&E setup was easy. We've had the system through one full Oklahoma spring with all the storms and everything held up perfectly. Good quality equipment.

I cannot recommend IntegrateSun in Houston, Texas, highly enough for their exceptional solar installation services! From start to finish, the entire process was seamless, professional, and exceeded all my expectations. The team at IntegrateSun made my transition to solar energy an absolute pleasure.
Safi from IntegrateSun was phenomenal in guiding me through the initial process. His honesty and trustworthiness were evident from our first conversation. He ensured that the pricing was transparent and that the hardware I wanted was available, tailoring the system to meet my specific needs without any pressure or upselling. His expertise and straightforward approach gave me complete confidence in choosing IntegrateSun.
Saadi, who managed the installation, was nothing short of incredible. He coordinated every detail to ensure the project stayed on track and was completed in a timely manner with no unexpected costs. His communication was always prompt and clear, and he went above and beyond by adjusting the timeline to accommodate my upcoming travel plans. Saadi’s dedication and professionalism made the entire process stress-free.
Luis, the installer, was equally impressive. His attention to detail and thoroughness ensured that the system passed inspection with flying colors, even with my city’s strict code requirements. He made minimal updates to meet those standards and took the extra step of painting the wall and roof conduits to match my home’s aesthetic, ensuring the battery and hardware blended in unobtrusively. His craftsmanship and care for the details truly set IntegrateSun apart.
The entire process, from signing up to passing inspection, took just 2.5 months—an impressively fast timeline compared to what I’ve read about other solar installations. IntegrateSun’s efficiency, combined with their outstanding team, made this a truly remarkable experience. Safi, Saadi, and Luis are a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence.
If you’re considering solar in the SF Bay Area, look no further than IntegrateSun. They’ve earned my highest praise for their professionalism, quality, and customer-focused approach. Five stars all the way!

Im extremely happy with my solar, the installation and communication thru out the entire process. I ended up choosing IntegrateSun. I will say l am happy I did. Being new to solar, I was unsure of the process. Hamza gave me weekly updates, he explained each step and the next step.
I always knew where we were in the process. Also the installers were very nice and also explained a few things to me. The service, the installation, the panels, and my tesla powewall 3, all exceeded my expectations! -
I signed a contract end of July and the panels were installed around early November which is about 4+ months total. The project manager, Aryan, kept me updated on the progress each week by email and phone. It seemed a little disconnected at first b/c I never saw anyone in-person but it worked out.
The 4-man crew, who installed my 20 panels on a 2-story non-HOA home, were very friendly and accommodating with schedules. We did have a small hiccup. They leaned about 8 solar panels on a fence with our connecting neighbors and it broke the fence post. Me & my husband repaired the fence at our expense, but the crew should have just put them on the ground instead. The solar panels are heavier than you realize.
At this point, I'm still waiting for my solar panels to be inspected and activated but the install itself is done. That will likely take another month or so. Lastly, I'll have my monitoring completed. I don't know the quality of the panels, but I must assume they're good considering I'm being charged like it. Service and responsiveness were very good. I'm hoping to see a major reduction in my power bill. This review is sort of premature but the installer insisted I complete it before the whole project is even finished. Overall, I would recommend Integrate Sun. If you’re not in TX, be prepared for the not-in-person service but they’ll still take care of you. -
Lies, lies, and more lies. The Sales team will say anything to get you to sign the contract. I reached out early October, they said they have high confidence that they can meet the deadline of end of year for the tax credit. I live in western PA so no one really believes in solar so I believed them that they can get it done. Once you sign the contract, the project manager will do the absolute minimum to keep the project moving along. For example, after sending me blueprints of the engineering drawing, they will take another two weeks to finalized the drawing and submit to county and utility for approval. It is now almost mid December, still waiting for utility approval. When asked whether or not the solar panels have been ordered or installer lined up for work. The answer is a fat no because they have a gating process and you cannot skip steps. Well you just guaranteed that you cannot finish the project on time and breaking your sales commitments.
IntegrateSun is NOT a trustworthy company.
Update 12/17 - after talking to the manager in 12/9, they told me that everyone is trying to finish up their projects. Also told me that my utility company has a very long approval process (comfirming that the sales team will say and do anything to get you to sign the contract), up to 2 months from the moment of permit submission. Then pivoted to sell me another product called HDM… without explaining what the acronym HDM stands for. Then punted me back to the sale rep that told lies to sign new contract… after a week of waiting around calling this “company,” they don’t even bother to pick up the phone any more. I also read the contract again. They don’t have to do anything until all permit approvals are approved and they also don’t pick up the phone to tell you anything about permitting. So your deposit is basically locked until they feel like working for you or when they default (the contract makes it very clear) . This company is shady as hell. -
Very frustrating experience. The project stalled due to unresolved permitting revisions, yet I was told at one point that it was “pre-approved,” which did not match the utility’s documentation.
When I decided to cancel due to the delays, I was told I would be charged cancellation fees, including design and permitting costs, even though the project had not progressed. I ultimately had to initiate formal mediation before my full deposit was refunded.
While I did receive my money back, the process required unnecessary escalation and significant effort. I strongly recommend getting every timeline, approval status, and refund term clearly documented in writing before proceeding -
I am so glad I went with IntegrateSun to install my solar panel system. After being screwed by a “cowboy” outfit, I contacted IntegrateSun to see if they could make a particular deadline — which I knew would be quite a challenge. They said they would do everything they could to make it happen. Sure enough, they made the deadline, saving me thousands of dollars. They didn’t put a foot wrong throughout the whole process — from outlining my options all the way through to installation. Everyone was completely professional, honest, available for communication, and transparent. The installers were personable, friendly, courteous and helpful; I would have trusted them as babysitters. Even when I had a question after installation and payment, the project manager responded to my query and explained the situation. I can’t say enough about how pleased I am to have bought my system from IntegrateSun. No regrets at all. I only wish all companies were as honest, professional and efficient as IntegrateSun!

I'm absolutely thrilled with the solar panel installation done by IntegrateSun! From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and courteous. Special shoutout to Project Manager Aryan Lee for his exceptional guidance and support throughout the entire process. He was always available to answer my questions and addressed my concerns promptly. The installation was seamless, and the team ensured everything was perfectly in place. I'm now enjoying the benefits of clean energy and significantly reduced electricity bills. If you're considering going solar, I highly recommend IntegrateSun and Aryan Lee for a hassle-free experience!

Installers were great and professional Adif Zaib was the coordinator. The job was excellently done according to the inspectors. while we had trouble coordinating schedules in the beginning Mr. Zaib was able to get the installation scheduled during the only two days of good weather in about a 6 week period. In the end, job well done,

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Experience with Integrate Sun
After getting quotes from three other solar companies, I decided to go with Integrate Sun, and I’m so glad I did. Initially i worked with Aahil Shakil on my system needs who was very honest and quickly earned my trusts They were competitively priced (lowest quote) and offered quality equipment. From start to finish, the process was smooth, professional, and well-organized.
My project manager, Aryan Lee, was especially impressive — he always responded promptly to my questions and kept me informed at every stage of the installation. The entire team was knowledgeable and courteous, and they made what could have been a complicated project feel effortless.
I would highly recommend Integrate Sun to anyone considering going solar! -
I couldn't be any less pleased with my experience. Delays from project manager Hesham have led to me losing out on the 30% tax credit. He's been caught in several lies regarding progress, including stating that permits were paid AS I SAT IN MY CITY HALL confirming they were not. Lack of prompt ordering of panels have led to two redesigns of my system, causing further delays. Lack of having an engineer stamp on the design submittal delayed it further. I've had 47 solar panels taking up space in my garage for months, as well as all of the other equipment. The panels arrived at 10PM with no advanced notice, and have taken up my garage entirely. Not contacting my utility company (despite saying they did) also delayed it. I've asked for his supervisor and their legal department multiple times, and they have ignored it each time. I've requested that we speak through email due to what I'm sure will be a lawsuit, and they switched to calling. I requested a new project manager several times, which has also been ignored.

I had a great experience working with Hamza and IntegrateSun. I received three different quotes, and IntegrateSun was the most competitive on price.
Hamza did an excellent job with follow-up throughout the entire project and was always responsive and clear in his communication. The whole process was smooth, and they managed to get the system installed, commissioned, and fully up and running with PTO in under two months, which exceeded my expectations.
Overall, very professional, efficient, and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend IntegrateSun to others considering solar. -
What was promised as a 90-day installation turned into an 18-month nightmare.
We contracted this company for a 12 kWh solar system with two Tesla Powerwall 3 units. From the start, the project was plagued by incompetence and delays. Permits were filed incorrectly—multiple times—with basic typos and application errors that any professional should have caught. Inspections failed because they either submitted the wrong paperwork or simply didn’t show up.
They also damaged our electrical panel during installation and never properly fixed it. To make matters worse, they installed outdoor junction boxes with open holes exposed to rain—an obvious safety and code issue.
After all of this, we were hit with surprise charges to mount the batteries, something that absolutely should have been included in the original scope of work. There was no transparency, no accountability, and no urgency to correct their mistakes.
We were excited to invest in a system using Tesla products, but this installer made the entire experience exhausting and stressful. Eighteen months of delays, failed inspections, sloppy paperwork, unsafe workmanship, and unexpected charges is completely unacceptable.
I would strongly advise anyone considering this company to look elsewhere. -
Lily Garcia was extremely helpful in getting our project completed. From day 1 she maintained clear communication even during delays in shipping due to weather , she kept me well informed. Frank was really efficient with installing the battery and minimizing the time that we were without power during the commissioning phase. I am extremely satisfied with the outcome!
