SA Specialties installed my new A/C system 4 full years ago. They do a spring and a fall inspection (for a very nominal charge) each year. They seem to keep the same employees year after year. For example, "Kevin" has come most of the time and is due my highest praise. I consider the decision to buy my new system from SA Specialties to be one of the smartest decisions I ever made.

Kevin is an excellent employee, very professional, very knowledgeable and very personable. Kevin has been servicing my system for many years. I know that makes sure my AC / Heat unit has been checked out and working efficiently. Kevin arrives on time, which is very much appreciated along with Kevin's work ethics.

My experience with SA Specialists was very unprofessional. They do not stand behind their products. They nickel and dime you before actually evaluating the problem. The manager I spoke with was very condescending with his response to my questions. We purchased a unit 5 years ago and already it has a leak and the coil is frozen. This should never happen, and to add insult to injury, the manager stated it would be $900+ charge for labor. Really???? Buyer beware. They only give you a warranty on labor for the first year of purchase. Go figure. Who in the right mind charges almost $1000 for labor of an air conditioning unit?

SA Specialists used a contract installer, not an employee for my AC installation. He did not install the unit correctly - Water thru the ceiling. Their "Troubleshooter" came out 4-5 times before correctly diagnosing the problem. Had $5,500 damage to ceiling and walls due to condensate leakage.

I contacted the sales department on having them install a brand new air conditioner system in my 5000 sq shop Also, I was gonna get them to do a new system in my house. I was told they would not drive all the way out to Cleveland to do $20,000 plus of work piss poor service they are looking for a quick buck

In 2016 SA Specialties installed a new complete HVAC system in my house. My experience was excellent. Fast forward to 2020 and the outside coil failed. The manufacturer (Lenox) was not stepping up to back their product. Enter Jeremy of SA Specialties. He worked tirelessly for a week to get a new unit from Lenox and get it installed. Jeremy made it all happen and now the system is working again. This was all completed at no cost to me. I strongly recommend SA Specialties and Jeremy to anyone.

This Company hires technicians that are rude and unsafe drivers. The driver of one of their trucks on the Woodlands Parkway on 11/8 was tailgating vehicles and flipping other drivers off and nearly caused an accident. There is no way I would recommend this company if they hire employees that are this unsafe.

The technician who showed up today, Melvin, was very professional and courteous. He thoroughly explained what he had done and all options available to me. There was no pressure to purchase anything, it was just an explanation of my options, which was nice. I've had nothing but exceptional experiences with SA Specialties and recommend them to anyone.

Called, had immediate, courteous response, evaluation the next day, installation the day after.
I had priced equivalent units from 4 companies, SA was was the best priced and by far, the most professional in quoting.
Old system was removed, no mess at all, new unit installed and thorough operational explanation provided, the same day. Got follow up calls as well.
I would recommend this firm, which is family owned. I plan to have them replace 2 more units when needed.

They are professional and friendly. The technician who did the checkup on our 4 compressors stayed until the job was done. He cleaned and inspected them and also made sure the heaters will work when they become necessary. I'm glad I chose SA specialties to replace my outdated equipment. I recommend them.

I bought an HVAC system. Big bucks so I borrowed money out of my equity in my home. They came out as scheduled and a few hours later the system was up and cooling us off after 6 weeks of no cooling in Katy Spring heat. It was touch and go as the unit is programmed for the home and its size. There were tweaks that had to be done and they were done. Watch out for the fine print that says your warranty is valid based on required service maintenance. Annually like clockwork, we have a professional come out and service the system. Make sure you keep your receipts of these services.

SA Specialties installed my AC 5 years ago and this year during regular maintenance by another company found out the coil was leaking freon. SA came out same day and warranty on coil and labor were still covered. The 2 worker's Ramon and Josh (I believe)sent out were very friendly and informed.

Highly recommend this company. Trine and his crew were professional, prompt and did an excellent job. No hidden fees and honest people with high integrity! I will definitely use them in the future! Thank you!!

I just completed a semi-annual Service call with SA Specialist Technician-Kevin. Kevin conducted a through review of my unit- while he explained what he was doing and answered all of my questions. He was very polite and courteous. I enjoyed his allowing me to "tag" along while he was doing his job. I wanted folks to know he did a great job and I appreciated his knowledge and service he provided. Thanks

I had an AC that went out three years ago. The company I had that had done my repairs for ten+ years did the best sales presentation I have ever seen and I am a sales person...they were dressed in great uniforms and they were twice as expensive as SA. My unit installed, the installers did a great job...and the post install checks, and follow up met all the requirements. I think they did an excellent job.

We had our a/c and furnace systems installed almost 4 years ago by SA Specialties and our blower motor went out on us. Fortunately, we have a 10 year warranty on parts. The only down side was waiting almost a week to have it reinstalled. Kevin came out and quickly installed a new one. He was very polite, courteous and speedy in repairing our unit. Good man.

Kevin came out for a PM, he was very professional and did a fantastic job. He also fixed the compressor outside which had been getting louder and louder over time and turns out all it required was tightening down all the screws which had started to loosen due to vibration. It is now as quiet as the day it was installed which was also by SA Specialties a few years ago. To date we have been very pleased with this company.

So far we love SA Specialties. They did a great job and have stood by their work when we had a minor leak from the A/C install. They came out no problem like 4 times to make sure it it was repaired correctly and paid for the sheetrock repair too (that company was ok not the best but ok). We have been very happy with SAS and the ladies in the office are friendly and helpful. UPDATE: Do beware when they come out for your 6 month maintenance checks they will try to sell you stuff you do not need! If you don't know about A/C or cannot go into your attic get a second opinion. They will try to pressure you into signing right then and there so that has been a big disappointment for us. I am taking off 2 stars. Otherwise all is working as it should .

SA Specialties installed our system in 2011. Their annual service contract is very reasonably priced, so I purchase it every year. They come spring and fall to clean and check the system. They are easy to get an appointment with, and always come when they say they will. Every technician over the years has been competent and friendly. Today was the first time my system needed a small part replaced. Technician Kevin was great! He knows his HVAC! Had the part in his truck, and got everything cleaned up and ready for summer quickly and inexpensively. I highly recommend SA Specialties! And technician Kevin!

Well they set up a technician to look at my broken A/C unit and after 30 minutes I decided to replace both systems completely because the cost was remarkable and the replacement would completed the next day. Keith the sales guy gave me the the pros and cons of the more efficient units but I decided to stick with 14 seer as I did not think the additional cost of the higher seer would ever make a big difference in the long run. Keith was very reasonable and knowledgeable of his products.

My family and I have experienced great customer service from SA Specialties. Most recently, we spoke with Josh and he followed up and got back to us as he said he would. It means a lot to have someone do what they say they will do. We will call on them again when the need arises.
