Eric Wilkins came to balance my AC. Very professional and respectful. He was helpful in his knowledge with questions asked. We have had numerous techs come to the house and he is one of the best we have had! He deserves 5 stars.

Overall my experience with HOUK has been fair. Have had 10+ visits in 4 months, and we MIGHT finally have a resolution… time will tell. This is the reason for 4 stars as only about 1/2 the techs we had were knowledgeable and provided some sort of solution.

Had a great air balance experience with the technicians that came out from Houk. Huge shout out to Louis and Dalton, they’re a great team. They are very respectful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. They provided me with the result I was looking for and was the highlight of my experience with Pulte’s 1-year warranty service.

Tech was super friendly and helpful. Very knowledgeable and gave us great advice on how to use our AC system. Fixed the issue we were having

Jacob came out and he was AWESOME. He took the time to explain what caused the problem and how to prevent it in the future. Great service and very thorough!!!

We bought a new Westin home exactly (1) month ago. Having Houk Air as the provided HVAC company has been a nightmare and has completely ruined our home buying experience. We lived in our last home for (10) years and NEVER had a cooling issue like this.

There is not much airflow/circulation in the primary bedroom, which has caused my doctor to put me on an inhaler due to the dust/terrible air quality… or lack of. We have spent $1000’s of dollars on a home solution from a dehumidifier, air purifier, black out curtains, cooling sheets, cooling mattress protector, cooling comforter, and a huge (ugly/cheap looking) fan that breaks my heart looking at.

Issues the company has come up with:

Ducts closed
Ducts halfway opened
Air Balance Issue
Not enough insulation by builder
Thermostat not installed properly
Thermostat installed with not enough insulation around it?
Thermostat is actually BROKEN

The answering team honestly lacks empathy. It’s like pulling teeth to try to get help or even in touch with a supervisor. We have begged and pleaded for help.

I really don’t know where to go from here, but I really pray this never happens to anyone else. It’s ruined our experience and cost us tons of money/lack of sleep/poor health.

*The builder has yet to respond to us.*

We just purchased a new home and had some minor move in balance and set up needs and Hoak handled up and showed up after hours to accommodate our schedule and took excellent care of us! A+ service!!

Tracy Scott did an excellent job finding the issue with our AC and staying until the problem was resolved. He went above and beyond to ensure that we were satisfied!

The Engineer explained what will be done per the 2-year maintenance plan. Also offered suggestions to promote the life of the unit. Took time to perform maintenance on the furnace. Did a very good job.

The tech that came did a good job and was friendly he was able to confirm the issue I suspected to be the problem.

Issue I have (had) is they quoted to replace a thermostat that is covered under warranty and it was higher than I expected.

My home visit with Houk Air Conditioning was GREAT today (09/24/25). The representative was very friendly, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to listen to my concerns, provided clear explanations, and followed up promptly. His attention to detail and commitment to resolving the issue made a big difference. I truly appreciate the excellent service li received today.

Jacob did a great job today on our winter check up. He found and repaired a few items left over from new construction and made sure to take pictures and go over everything. Fully recommend!

Jacob is an amazing and professional Technician for Houk Air Conditioning. He explained each step he was responsible to provide and was very thorough in my A/C unit examination of the inside and outdoor units. He kept himself and the work areas clean and organized. As a Commercial General Contractor I recognize and appreciate his commitment to providing a good experience while serving my family. Congratulations Jacob! Job well done!

One of the worst experiences with a company to date.!!!!

We bought a home brand new 1 1/2 years ago. From day one we complained to Houk about how hot one part of the upstairs was compared to other rooms. On top of that we started having random leaks that would flood our downstairs kitchen area. This flooding would be cleaned up and sheetrock patched (there was a t9me where we had 20 hiles in our ceiling where they were tryong to find theu leak) and then it happened again. All the while we had HVAC people out that seemed as though they were still studying HVAC services. Finally after 3 flooding events and patching, the main plumbing guys in the community of all people found that the piping on our drain was over insulated and on top of that was not installed correctly causing condensation to build up with in our walls a subfloor and eventually make its way out the kitchen below. It has been full of stress and headaches as this was our dream home. To then top it all off, our upstairs unit which has never cooled correctly, just stopped cooling all together. We had an independent A/C guy come out to give his opinion. He found the system has a laek in the coils somewhere and the freon levels were below half of what they should be. Now, a week later after turning in all the documentation to Houk and my kids enduring 80 degree temps upstairs at night, the still haven't given a time or date as to when they will come out. They say they need their service manager to review and then see what diagnostics fees to charge us. Its a total nightmare as these are all warranties items and Houk is dragg9ng their knuckles on this and in turn only making us suffer. Truly despise this company and their practices. It's shouldn't be that hard to see the diagnosis from another reputable a/c company and at the very least get us on the schedule to take a look. The diagnostic fee is not even an issue, we just want them out as they were the original installers of the system. As well, they still have work to finish from the last leak at our home and they have yet to get ahold of us on that (going on 2 weeks, 3 replacement grills / vents). They could easily use the fact they need to finish certain items already and do the diagnosis at the same time. I realize they are probably 2 seperate techs, but the one checking the system can easily install some vents.

I’ve used Houk AC and have had Miguel service my house since it was built. Always very professional and reliable services provided. Much appreciated!

Always professional and courteous. They wear shoe covers and never leave a mess. They recommended an air purifier for the whole unit to and were able to install same day.

I had an HVAC system repair need as my AC and heater stopped working. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the technicians that came out to our home. They came quickly to assist with my need, they were prompt and polite and very helpful. I would highly suggest using this outfit for your HVAC needs. Full Stars!!!

I would highly recommend Houk Air Conditioning. I was very satisfied with their service from the start of scheduling a technician to come out until the end of service. Tracy and Dalton are amazing technicians and very knowledgeable. 10/10 service.

Jacob P. was here doing my winter check on the heater and cooler . Everything was working great. I mentioned how I needed something for my allergies and he told me about Air Scrubber that goes in attic with your HVAC. I decided to give it a chance. I’ll let you know how it turns out. Jacob was very polite and helpful.

Houk has been servicing our home for the a few years now. They are reliable and have a large team with easy scheduling. Our most recent technician, Jacob, was extremely polite, thorough, and answered all of our questions.
