HVAC reviews in Houston, Texas

Alex was very courteous and professional. He got my A/C working again. The price was high but that is no reflection on him. And of course all this happened on a weekend. I didn’t receive an itemized receipt but have requested one which will be sent on Monday.

They did a very good job on our semi-annual HVAC. Technician arrived at the scheduled time. He was very courteous and very thorough in his checks. He took the time to go through everything at the end of his work and answered any questions I had.
Overall a very good job -
I can’t say enough good things about this company. Our AC sprung a leak on a Sunday—in the middle of a brutal Houston summer—and with a 2-week-old baby at home, it felt like a full-on emergency. Within an hour of calling, technician Alex was at our door, ready to go. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. The owners were also involved and clearly committed to making sure we were taken care of quickly.
Thanks to their fast and efficient work, we avoided what could have been a miserable (and potentially dangerous) situation. I’m so grateful for their responsiveness and excellent service. These are the folks you want on your side when things go sideways. Highly recommend! -
Abdiel is a real Pro. He knows exactly what to check and how to fix the problem. 2nd review: He came back for additional work and my original review stands. He’s also very courteous.

We asked High Performance Home Systems to overhaul the HVAC in our recently purchased home. That was over 2 years ago and I am happy to report that High Performance is what they have delivered every step of the way! I called this morning to report a maintenance issue and they had Ricky heading my way before I knew it! He was prompt and professional, making sure the issue was completely rectified and the area was left neat and clean. Everyone I have met at High Performance Home Systems has been highly professional and respectful. I do not hesitate to recommend them!

Ricky was highly knowledgeable and took the time to educate me on the functions of my system and why adjustments would be beneficial. I left interaction feeling confident in the answer to my problem, something I had been struggling to find with other companies.
Update: I went with them for the work to get my AC in proper shape and it is great. The holistic approach is what was needed, not just “what’s broken” but looking high level at the system and adjusting its install to be more efficient. Ricky, his apprentice and the install team all were super professional, and my AC works better than it ever has. -
What a wonderful experience I had with High Performance Home Systems installing a new HVAC system in my home. From scheduling to installation to follow-up inspection, the service was excellent. The entire team was professional, knowledgeable, respectful, courteous, and hard working. Highly recommend.

I don’t often rave about a company, but this one I have to. I’m a frequent user of Lee and his team and they are fantastic from top to bottom. The technicians are smart, driven, and communicate well. The manager’s address my issues quickly and efficiently. The office team are great communicators and stay on the ball. Look forward to many more years of doing business together.

AC went out and Scott and team were here within 2 hours and had the unit back up and running! Professional. Timely. They have and will continue to be our go-to for all things HVAC! Thank you High Performance Home Systems!

We appreciate excellent HVAC service from High Performance for the past 5 years or so. The technician Abraham, today went over and above to help us with a question that, as it turns out, was related to the hot water system and not the HVAC. Nice work! Highly recommend.

Can’t say enough great things about this company. To say the least, our home and central air system were not performing optimally. Our home is a bit complicated (some rooms on first and second floor two stories with no attic space overhead, as well as only having a small attic with enough room for one air handler).
Needless to say, our home was always ~10 degrees colder or hotter on one floor or the other and we were having issues with duct placement.
Scott spent SO much time with me, answering technical questions and laying out the best option for my home. He follows the guide of physics and air flow mechanics, and manages to still be quite thoughtful when it comes to figuring out a solution for YOUR home.
Edgar was our project manager, and he was also amazing. The two of them worked with their team to come up with a solution that so far has reduced humidity in our home by over 10% and now maintains the same temperature in every room. They did not just reinstall the exact same duct configuration that had been. Boxes were moved, ducts were resized - and our home has been in a great state since their install. Highly recommend Scott and his team. -

-
Great company with great service and experienced staff .
-
Dealt with one of their supervisors, he was great.
-
Terrible driving on Travis street and Franklin street. I hope they have insurance
-
Your contractors obviously have no understanding of sidewalks or care about leaving them open for special needs people...
-
The driver of one of their vehicles is careless.
Cut me off on the highway this morning, it was so tight that he almost scraped my car -I had to apply my breaks quickly to save us from an accident.
It blows my mind how someone can drive like this. -
We used Gowan to replace a leaking backflow preventer, because the landlord would only allow them to do the work. They charged about $900.00 for what should have been no more than $300. We were never given an estimate, and that is on the building manager. On their bill was the drive time to get to our office plus the drive time to go and get the part that they knew in advance was the problem and should have been on the truck. I've replaced backflow preventers at my house, so I know what's involved and what the costs should have been. Thankfully, my new landlord will allow us to pick our own plumber as long as they're bonded, and Gowan is out.

On Werner and East Hamilton St, your driver of license plate FYY4147 nearly totaled my vehicle and killed my family! He was speeding down Werner St and did not adhere to the stop sign! He missed hitting my car by mere inches! My family is very upset, my son hit his face against the backseat, and I'm in shock. The driver didn't even give an apology! My husband confronted him at a convenience store and says, "There wasn't a stop sign. My bad." First of all there is are stop signs on both ends of Werner crossing Hamilton and second of all, does this man NOT understand he nearly took life? He completely ruined a perfectly good day on the way to bowling. My husband is still upset, as am I.
