Technician came out around 7:30 pm to look at a faulty toilet on the 2nd floor. I was quoted $750 which seemed like I was given a random number. Still waiting on the actual quote that he said I was going to receive, on top of that technician was very unprofessional, seemed like he didn’t even want to do any work.

Damaged the entire duct system and pulled it out of the ceiling!! Ended up costing tens of thousands of dollars in repairs that they would not cover. DO NOT HIRE

STAY AWAY. DO NOT EVEN TRY TO CONTACT. I cannot stress enough how bad this company is. Please look at the reviews in the past month alone. I left another review but this company needs to be dissolved unless something changes. You WILL waste your money with them.

Dora provided overall review of the nature of the work that would be accomplished by their service. The mold preventative and primer for ongoing mold prevention was what concluded my choice. I recommend that others use them, too.

DO NOT use this company for chimney/fireplace related services. They do not know what they are doing and will try to upsell as much as they can.

Signed up for basic chimney cleaning and inspection for $189 which is a rip off (compared to other companies charging $95) but considering that they were the only ones that could come out in 1 day compared to competitors that could come out in 1+ week, I decided to take a chance. Big mistake. Out $200+ for the cleaning and still no results from the “inspection” and could not tell me why my fireplace was not working.

Also, they seem to have unscrupulous upselling practices because when they came in, they did not bring in all the tools in for the cleaning and tried to say that they needed to charge an extra $250 for a full cleaning from the roof. I declined and said that I an not willing to pay $440 for a cleaning. I told them I don’t need their services. They then changed their story and said they could clean the entire chimney under the basic chimney cleaning price, went back out to their car and brought back an extendable brush to sweep the chimney.

After they spent 5-10 minutes putting a brush up the chimney, they said they were done. I asked for the results of the inspection and to get my fireplace functioning. They could not get it to turn on and could not tell me why. They demanded money for the “cleaning” and left.

Called Aura for dryer vent cleaning. Told them they would need a tall ladder, as vent is above second story windows. They assured us it would be okay; showed up without a ladder capable of the job. Explained that the job was complicated, so there would be an up charge. Did not complete the job, saying they would come back over the weekend with the required ladder - they never came back.

Hired to clean dryer vent, scheduled between 8am and 4pm, at 10am we receive a call that the cleaning will be free because they are running late (suspicious but ok) they arrive around 1130 and clean the dryer vent as requested, they then say they need to clean the rest of it from the attic. The lead technician then called me up to the attic to show me a leak in the a/c and a picture of mold that was not a recent picture on his phone (it literally was behind multiple other pictures and could not have been taken moments before I climbed up the attic steps.)

They then quoted 1300 dollars to spray an anti mold spray and an inhibitor paint inside the a/c unit. When I declined the services because it was too costly and I couldn’t verify any mold myself the charge for the duct cleaning (the one that was comped because they were late) was magically due again. I would get multiple quotes from different companies and verify anything told you you by a technician

We had a water pipe crack and burst after the big freeze that just hit us in Texas in February of 2021. I called Aura to fix the pipe and they quoted $1,800.00 to cut and replace 1 single pipe. I couldn't believe it. I asked them to leave and I waited and found an excellent certified and highly recommended plumber to do the same task for $280 a couple days later. Plumbers were in high demand at this time and there is certainly a premium to pay during such high demand times, but this was clearly price gouging, which is not only amoral but illegal after Texas was deemed a major disaster by the federal government. Businesses that do this during tough times are not valuable to the community. This is not a business I will ever associate myself with and I urge anyone looking for these services to look elsewhere.

Awesome awesome awesome. This company is the most professional outfit in the city. They will have your home ice coldcin the summer and warm in the winter plus quailty in my home seems fresh and clean since they completed my work!!! I recommend this company to all my friends and family

We had used them in January to clean out our Dryer vent and they did a good job then. I scheduled to have them come out last Friday, but the technician never showed up - was running too late I was told after calling in multiple times. I rescheduled for 12 - 2 on Tuesday. No one ever showed up. I called and texted numerous times, but the person answering the phone could not reach the technician or owner. I was texted that the technician was on his way but this wasn't true. This is very unprofessional and frustrating; I would not recommend that anyone use this company.

Called prior to have a AC replaced. They texted and called me to let me know tech was on the way. I headed to the house as quickly as I could. No one there. Called office. They told me they could not get hold of tech. Waited, they never called back. I called them back twice and they could never tell me what was going on. Waiting over 30 minutes. Then called back a 3rd time, they no longer would answer my calls! I waited there 45 minutes. 2 hours later I get a call from the tech and he said he is in the area and can come over. I told him, are you freaking kidding me?? LOSER company and techs!

This company is price gouging and taking advantage of people affected by the freeze in February 2021. They replaced less than 10' of copper pipe (from 3 breaks due to freeze) and 1/2 drywall board to repair damage from busted pipes. No painting, nothing else and are charging me over $6,000.00 for repairs that should not cost more than $500-800. I told them to leave and not come back as they were so blatantly dishonest and taking advantage of people. I have reached out to them to get a refund and heard nothing. They are also fighting my credit card dispute. They are an unethical company.

My technician Gabriel was outstanding. Was very knowledgeable and helpful in explaining everything. I was able to see video of all the mold and mildew in my ducts. They did a great job of cleaning everything.
