We called Mr Charles with an emergency at almost 11 o’clock pm and he came right out without hesitation. He immediately found the problem and was able to have us taken care of first thing in the morning as promised. He was very professional and made sure our unit was back up as quickly as possible. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Mr. Guthrie was attentive to our needs and happy to respond to our questions regarding our A/C unit short cycling and failing. He diagnosed the root issue (burnt out evaporator coil fan motor due to refrigerant leak) and topped of our coolant and applied sealant.

He came out on a weekend when we had trouble even having anyone pick up our calls. We're happy he answered and help us out. Good thorough service at a reasonable price. We heartily recommend Modern Air of Katy.

What a remarkable experience from beginning to end. The communication was amazing and straightforward. Charles came to our rescue in the middle of the night when we realized our AC wasn’t cooling our house (pregnant with two littles, I desperately needed someone to come but had no responses from several larger companies I had called). Charles was great. He replaced the blower fan for my unit. He communicated with me very well along the entire process; diagnosing, getting parts and finally the repair.

We had a nightmare of a night when our AC stopped working. We woke up in the middle of the night unable to sleep with the house showing a temperature of over 80°. I went and did a Google search and found Modern Air Of Katy and called and spoke to Charles. Charles was very helpful over the phone and made sure that I was a priority and was at my house within 30 minutes of the call. He went into my attic and realized what the issue was went and got the part same day and returned to fix the problem. During His time looking at our AC unit, he even called the product line and realized that the part that was broken which was a motor blower, and was under warranty which even saved us some money. If you ever have any issues with your AC or heating, I highly suggest Charles and those that work for Modern Air Of Katy . Charles was quick to assist when he heard that I had alot of water building up in my emergency pan. He was able to come on the same day and was helpful in cleaning out a non traditional drain line

After dealing with other companies, we called Modern Air of Katy as a hail Mary on a Sunday afternoon at 4PM because our AC issues had gotten increasingly worse and it was nearly 90 degrees in our house. My expectations were exceeded. Charles came over within about 1.5 hours to diagnose the problem and quickly set about a plan to rectify and give us a bridge solution until we could make the permanent fix. By Tuesday he and his hardworking team Chris and his wife were able to change out our totally shot evaporator coil in ~ 3 hours. I know it was at least 110 degrees up in the attic but they worked quickly and diligently to make the repair. Our AC is back up and running. Charles was professional, communicative, knowledgeable and fair. He gave us a competitive bid and is a gem after we'd gone through 3 other companies quoting us more and providing poor service. We will go back to Charles the moment we need help again! I never leave reviews like this but the reason I called Modern Air of Katy was due to the amazing reviews for Charles, so am hoping to add to that chorus of grateful customers.

Modern Air of Katy is great! Charles is very honest, responsive, and reliable. I found Modern Air of Katy through the app Angi. His company workers came to fix my furnace and changed my boiler. They even removed an old heater the previous house owner left behind. I plan to hire them again and highly recommend them.

Charles is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our AC went out late Sunday night, I called Monday morning and he squeezed us in and fixed it by noon.
