I cannot recommend Aaron and Southern Comfort Heating and Air enough! Our heat went out right in the middle of this winter storm, and Aaron was an absolute lifesaver. He arrived exactly within the scheduled window and got right to work. He was incredibly thorough in fixing the issue and was so friendly and pleasant to deal with throughout the whole process. He responded to our request promptly, checked the issue, explained the issue in detail and helped us get the best price possible for replacement. I had Southern Comfort do my heater and summer check. Repairs were suggested for the heater which I chose not to do pending the summer check. My thoughts were that the cost of the repairs of the heater and the air conditioner were not going to make sense when a new energy efficient HVAC system would be more cost effective. Aaron was the Technician that did both inspections. He was respectable, and knowledgeable. He presented me with readings, and pictures and the news that my compressor was going out. Didn’t surprise me as this would make the third one since we had the current unit installed. This time it wouldn’t be under warranty. Being retired, on fixed income and widow, I had already researched and had my list of questions. He was patient and knowledgeable. He suggested having a Project Manger come out to evaluate my home. Donnivin, Project Manager, evaluated my home and gave me 4 options and answered my questions. Being female, I was not made to feel any questions were stupid. When concerns were brought up by me and my daughter, they were addressed quickly, efficiently and not with the rolled eyes which I appreciated. Donnivin went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable with my choices. Having researched Aaron and Donnivin's answers to my questions, I found them to be honestly answered. Installers were polite. Alex answered questions and addressed concerns when approached. The ductwork cleaners were respectful of our space (back porch)and took care when my grandbaby was asleep and the breaker kept tripping. I would recommend the Southern Comfort Team.

I called in with a heating issue — the furnace wasn’t working, and I could hear sloshing water like a washing machine. Donovan asked me to send a few photos of the setup, and within moments, he identified the problem: the vent pipe had been improperly installed, with a hose clamp and boot clearly intended to allow drainage access.

Even though he recommended a technician come out, Donovan took the time to walk me through the issue on the phone. Based on his insight, I unclamped the boot while we were still on the call — water drained out, and the heat kicked on immediately.
