Our technician Miguel was nice and very professional. Aire Serv of River Oaks was wonderful to work with, took my credit card over the phone, got us the part extremely quickly. They are very responsive by phone and text. I can’t say enough good things about them. They will be the only company I use for any service they provide.

Prompt and honest! Robert found a super minor issue with our ductwork that was causing some condensation that we a hard time tracking down and he got fixed it for just a reasonable diagnostic fee. Will use Aire Serv again next time we have an HVAC issue.

We have used Aire Serv previously for a custom built air handler in a Downtown loft, and they did a great job. We are in a different condo now, and called Aire Serv to service and clear lines on our unit. Our technician was knowledgeable, very professional, answered all my questions, and even showed me how to maintain lines between service checks - as it is a little different being in a mid-rise building. He also pointed out some plumbing issues unrelated to the unit (but next to the unit) that needed attention and we followed up with a plumber for that right away.

Ronnie & Miguel were incredibly nice and responsive. They found the problem, explained it to me, got the parts, and repaired everything in under 3 hours. When it’s 100+ degrees outside it makes all the difference that they were able to get my AC working again so quickly. Would recommend to anyone to use them!

Our first experience was ductless ac repair that they completed successfully while other companies wanted to just sell a new unit.
We also had them check and clean our units. Reliable maintenance is important.
Finally, Christopher and Team quickly responded to an emergency duct repair during a bath room renovation.

I had a very disappointing experience with Aire Serv of Central and West Houston. When I worked with them, they were Air Serv of River Oaks, and now it seems that they either change the name, or merged together - I believe they are the same since the owner's name is the same. Here are the reasons why:

1. Faulty Unit: They sold us an old, weak, and faulty HVAC unit. The unit was made in 2018, and we installed it in 2020 and paid almost $10K for it.
2. Repeated Issues: Despite assurances that our HVAC problems would be resolved with the new unit, we’ve had to call them multiple times for “optimization,” yet the issue remains unresolved.
3. High Costs and Poor Service: Every time they came for a checkup, they suggested replacing additional units, with quotes always exceeding my expectations. When I tried to negotiate, they never responded.
4. Unprofessional Conduct: I received a call where a lady yelled at me for not paying a bill, which turned out to be for another home, not mine.

I still have unresolved issues with my HVAC unit. I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my experience. If I had known earlier, I would have chosen a different service provider.

From my initial call with their receptionist Max, to my newly cleaned vents/ducts I have no complaints.

After my initial call, they followed up with me and priced matched the other company I was considering. I was able to make an appointment for the very next day. And they were prompt and professional.

I especially appreciated how they educated me about my HVAC units, without pressuring me to make an additional purchase.

UPDATE: No regrets at all using this Aire Serve location. Most of the time, when I call, they send out Robert who is fast, efficient, friendly, and more than willing to answer questions. Because of him, I now know what the temperature difference between the air coming into the system and the air blowing out of the system should be, how the cutoff valve works, and when the best times for maintenance are. Every time he comes by, not only does my A/C issue get fixed, but I learn a little more that helps me keep it running better.

Ask for Robert. You won't regret it.

First of all, the person who answered the phone was maybe the most polite and sympathetic person I've ever talked to at a service provider. 10/10

Now, I called Aire Serve of River Oaks when my A/C went out because *waves hands* reasons. And, yes, if you're looking at the date of this review, this did in fact happen in the middle of a heatwave. They were very apologetic about not being able to send anyone under two days later, but promised that they would bump the appointment up if an opening was available. Yesterday afternoon, an opening became available, and I couldn't have been happier about it.

The guy who came out (whose name I have sadly forgotten and wish I could post here) was polite, efficient and fast. He found a capacitor that had gone out and, well, not long after he arrived, we had A/C again. You can't argue with results, right?

I'm dinging one star because I still haven't received my receipt, but all in all, great service. Will call again.

Robert came out to do a routine HVAC checkup. He was professional, friendly, and explained thoroughly how adding a surge protector would be a great addition to protect our unit. Everything was well documented with photos. Highly recommend Robert and Air Serv for your HVAC needs!

After a routine HVAC maintenance, Robert noted a few things about our systems operation that could be made more efficient. Usually I am skeptical of these upgrades, but Robert explained them in an easy to understand way and they made a lot of sense. Our future maintenance visits can now be more useful. He wasn’t pushy and answered all the questions I had, even when I called him back the next day. I appreciated being able to review the quote without any pressure. Robert also came back to perform the work. He explained again what he was going to do and his findings. I like how Aireserv technicians document the work with photos and video. Overall great customer experience and at very reasonable prices.

Communication with scheduling was very good - we had to postpone during a storm, and I was just being seen for anual maintenance. The technician, Robert arrived on time and was very professional and clean. He explained everything to me - took photos and videos of some issues. I’ll use again

We found Aire Serv in early 2022 when the heating in our little old house unexpectedly went out during a cold snap. Before we called them, we had a tech from another company come out, take a look at our very old system, and then refuse to do any work on it--but the Aire Serv folks came out, told us what they could fix and how long the fix would last, as well as gave us estimates on installing a new system. We decided to install a whole new system, which they had up and running within just a few days, and they do regular tune-ups to make sure it's kept in great shape. I appreciate that they gave us options when we first needed them, they're fast to get things done for us and flexible with our schedule. I feel a lot better knowing the maintenance work they do will keep us comfy inside--no matter what the temperatures are doing outside!

The team at AireServ River Oaks is great from the top to the field technicians. Hector (owner) is always very responsive and helpful, and his team members I have had working at my home have been just as good (Chris, Andrew, and more I cannot remember). Very professional and helpful towards me over the last two years as I made the decision to finally replace my units. Was able to get prompt and quality install as soon as I was ready to purchase. Would recommend them to any friends needing A/C or heating work.

Aire Serv of River Oaks services my AC and they're ALWAYS considerate of my time and property and are very thorough and, most importantly, honest.. Today, Miguel spent time talking to me about potential issues I might encounter with my current system and offered solutions when the time comes for me to replace it. I've lived in the River Oaks area for 20 years and this is, easily, the best service I've ever received from any home service contractor. Very highly recommended!

Robert really knows his stuff when it comes to HVAC systems. He took the time to explain everything clearly, so I understood what was going on and what needed to be fixed. His knowledge and skills put me at ease right away.

Not only is Robert super knowledgeable, but he's also really friendly and professional. He showed up on time, was respectful of my home, and made sure everything was cleaned up before he left. It's not every day you find someone who combines such great service with a friendly attitude.

Overall, my experience with Aire Serv of Central and West Houston was excellent. If you need HVAC services, definitely give them a call and ask for Robert. You won't regret it!

Aire serv was awesome. I had an AC issue and Miguel was there that same day a few hours later to help me out. He was very clear in his explanations of what the trouble shooting looks like and the pros and cons of each choice as well as cost and what would be best for the system. Ultimately I needed to replace my unit and his guys were there 2 hours later to install it. Byron and his crew were very good and I could tell they were not cutting any corners and were willing to explain everything for my understanding and do things properly. Definitely would recommend if you want a quality job.

I am thoroughly pleased with Aire Serv . I went without AC for 45+ days, evaluated many options , companies & systems and found them to be a great value and responsive service provider. Matthew was my salesman and was extremely knowledgeable about AC units. He wasn’t pushy, made recommendations based on my needs and allowed to be able to pick what I wanted based upon his recommendations. I needed to replace my entire system, plenums included for a very reasonable price. Hector, the owner was very responsive to my questions and didn’t push me off on a sales person. Byron C and a couple other guys whom I don’t know their names, was my technician and was very helpful and worked diligently to get everything set up properly. I am happy with my install and would recommend them to anyone.

Steve & his helper (forgot his name,) were great, on time. Respected my property, told me what was needed and took care of it right on the spot. Great team work!

Recently both of my AC units went out one after the other within two week period. Hector quoted us a very reasonable price. He sat down with my husband and I and explained how the service package works and is very flexible with payment options. We were not able to pay the lump sum so he offered financing options with no interest for the first year.

Hector’s crew was very attentive and accommodating. They took measures to protect the floor and kept the house clean during the whole period.

Hector also sent us a loaner AC unit before the installation work can begin. That is super helpful given my daughter wants to stay in her room even when it is very hot.

Hector and crew stand out for being reasonable in price, very flexible, and are very service oriented. Definitely recommend for AC related problems.

I am always so very impressed with Aire Serve. I have been a customer for a few years and they keep my AC unit running smoothly with two visits per year. They also have helped out on several occasions when there was an emergency after a storm, or when there was an issue. They are prompt, courtesy and a good value. Highly recommend!
