My AC slowly lost the ability to cool, called Big Texas Comfort since I am close to Webster. Talked to Mary, arranged for Bob to stop by that evening. He quoted me an excellent price. I immediately accepted, he called his installer who asked if it could be the next day which made wifey and I elated. I was very, very surprised at how fast they worked. Six and half years Army I know military precision and that is what I was reminded of. Less than 4 hours and the house was cooling. Very little conversation and lots of work quickly accomplished. Did not replace vents or thermostat, want not needed. I really appreciate not replacing things, so the bill is higher than it has to be. Thank you, Mary. Thank you, Bob.

The service engineer was very knowledgeable with decades of experience, the kind you don't often find with many younger service personnel. He was not quick to pronounce my old system DOA. He took his time to test it and give us options that could buy us a little more time before having to invest in a new system. Well, I'm sure a new brand new system would be really "cool", but not having to jump into one just yet is even cooler. I really appreciate his skill set and dedication to customer service. Nobody wants to spend more money than they have to, and certainly not before it's absolutely necessary. It was an A+ experience all the way.

So our power tripped 2 weeks ago after the storm, but it was a sunny day. I think they were fixing a different side of the neighborhood and so I power blipped, but that blip cause our ac capacitor to blow. Without ac from 4-12am with kids, good thing we had a window ac unit to hold us off.

My wife search Big comfort Texas and when she told me someone’s coming at 9-10pm i was like who?! Are they trustworthy? She said they have good reviews. I was skeptic just because our usual ac guy doesn’t even do 24hrs. Long story short David showed up at 11pm. Dude he is so nice! Love the fact he told us what happened, and what to look at. Awesome guy almost 70 and passionate about fixing things and he has awesome old time stories! I highly recommend them base on my experience with David!

We recently had our HVAC system and ducting replaced and we couldn’t be happier. The folks at Big Texas Comfort couldn’t have been more professional, knowledgeable, helpful, friendly - and the install was lightning fast. So easy to work with and the cost of this big job was very reasonable. Outstanding quality all the way around.

I'll get to the point. The technician knew what he was talking about. His years of experience helped find the issue quickly. He is underpaid for that knowledge. Yes, I understand overhead and operating cost. You need to keep these guys that are very experienced. Show him appreciation anytime you can. Thanks for your time.

Do NOT use this company. I run a small grassroots non-profit pet adoption center that adopts out pets pulled out of local municipal shelters and off the street. Our AC went out on 8/6 and Big Texas Comfort came out to look at our HVAC unit (which is on top of the building). We were told by the technician that we needed to replace the fan motor & he didn’t have the part. We scrambled to move 37 pets out of our facility that night because of the heat. The next day we were told by Big Texas Comfort that the part was back ordered 6-8 weeks. Our team scrambled to find the part, even posting on our social media pages for our followers to help. We decided to get a second opinion. The second company that came determined the only problem was that the reset button on our unit needed to be pressed. They were able to successfully fix the unit in less than 5 minutes. Besides not knowing how to properly fix the unit, the Big Texas Comfort technician left our unit without the protective panels on and with parts disconnect. We were told if it would have rained our whole unit would have been fried because the panels were left off. Also those panels are heavy and our building is tall. If the panels would have flown off the building, they could have destroyed a car or seriously injured a person. Attached to this review are the pictures the second company took of how our unit was left by the Big Texas Comfort tech. We are left in complete disbelief of this company’s negligence & disrespect to our property. If we would have listened to them, we would have likely had to close our doors (because 6-8 weeks is a long time to be closed) & our unit would have been fried because it certainly would have rained in those 6-8 weeks. Please do better.

We price checked other companies in the area, and Big Texas Comfort beat everyone. The install was great, and customer service after the install has been very helpful! Had an absolutely amazing experience! I've shopped with a lot of A/C companies to find the best and honest deal for the new A/C system installed and after talking to a lot of companies Big Texas Comfort was the only company that gave me the quote over the phone and made me a good and honest deal. Bob, the owner of the company went above and beyond to make me a happy customer. Had Bob come out and do an estimate on replacing 3. 15 ton commercial units with the air handlers very professional estimate . Waited till the temperatures were ready to shut down for three days came in on Thursday and removed the three air handlers and three outside units and installed new units and was up and running Saturday evening. Also installed five return airs across the building had lots of logistics of removing air handlers in show room And coordinating everything works smoothly cleaned up after yourself. Very polite and very professional. Would recommend them anytime and even called after the job and came out and Wi-Fi the thermostats with the app. Really appreciate the customer service.

Completely satisfied with a recent repair service from Big Texas Comfort. One of our AC units stopped cooling, and after some unsuccessful DIY troubleshooting I called to request an appointment. I was expecting at least a day's wait for an appointment, but a technician was available that afternoon. David arrived and got right to work - after some questions and troubleshooting he found that an animal had chewed through one of the signal wires between the air handler and the condenser. He then found a spare wire and spliced a new connection between the two, fixing the issue. David did an excellent job of diagnosing and repair, answering my questions along the way, and giving me recommendations for protecting my HVAC systems moving forward. I would certainly recommend Big Texas Comfort for future work. Thank you!

We removed all duct work from the 60’s and they installed an air purifier. 2 years later we had them move things to raise our ceiling. Reasonable prices and nice people!
