RUDE RUDE RUDE. Just got off the phone with their superior staff whom like to make you feel extremely stupid. I was told that certain plumbing terminology was actually house hold language, then put me on hold because this particular individual could not be bothered. SORRY YOU CANT STAND YOUR JOB BUT YOU SHOULD REALLY SAVE YOUR RUDE BEHAVIOR FOR YOUR LOVED ONES......

Return of a part (3 days later) in pristine condition denied by counter manager, despite policy on invoice that describes return policy. Salesperson was helpful, courteous, professional, but manager was rude, abrupt, and violated Universal's own return policy as stated on the invoice.

Skip the big box stores, the customer service here is fantastic. These guys know what they are doing and are able to help with advice on the best supplies to use to help with your project.

Homeowner with HVAC background. Was looking for parts for my busted water heater, Melvin quoted be a good price on a new one instead so I went with that. Service at parts counter was good, made sure I left with everything I needed (including the CPVC cement I would have forgot for sure).

Now, understand that this is an industry guy's part shop. If you know generally what you want, they will help you get to the right product. If you are there to get Water Heaters 101 at the counter, you might want to call for general info and do some reading on products first. Still - I would recommend this shop for general tools, parts, and hardware for homeowners who can do their own work. If not - call your local plumbing contractor and save yourself.

Fantastic customer service- they helped me disassemble our clogged up modern kitchen faucet. It was not a brand they service or stock parts for. Nevertheless, Travis & company helped me resolve a problem without charging a dime. They came up with a solution long term that didn't involve a new $450 faucet. Great place!

These guys have anything related to plumbing. I recently purchased a house built in the 1960s. The plumbing bathroom faucets and toilets are in need of TLC. Universal Plumbing Supply helped me match items that are almost 60 years old. They are knowledgeable and reasonably priced. For old, one of a kind, or hard-to-find items, this is the place to go. When I wanted to install a new master suite they even helped me with a quality toilet for just over $100.

Called in advance to verify that they had the parts that I needed and drove from Clear Lake to pick them up. The person on the phone didn't bother to verify it was in stock and I made a trip and stood in line for 2 hours for nothing! CITY PLUMBING is MUCH better and will actually verify that they have items in stock before you drive out. I am NEVER using Universal Plumbing again

During our recent power outage and winter stlr. This place and their nice staff stayed HOURS passed closing to help us houstonians in need! All while running of a generator themselves in the freezing rain. Any plumbing supplies from now on, I am coming to them! Great service, great business great attitude! Thank you all to helping 1,000s gain back water. These people are very knowledgeable on Their parts.

The staff went above and beyond helping me this afternoon at 4:50pm. They got me my parts that I needed and were helpful to all the customers. He got us all in. Staff was very helpful thank god for these people there are still good people out there.

Extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The folks here really are the best at what they do and just as a bonus, they carry EVERYTHING. Thanks to these folks at Universal I was able to find all the materials to fix my pipes after the winter storm.

Business is in downtown area, I didn't realize it was there. Staff was very helpful and they actually had what we were looking for. The product loaders also very nice and professional. This place has a good vibe, will come here again.
