Shaw Plumbing will be my go to for my plumbing needs. Doug is very responsive and truly wants to satisfy his customers. I contacted 2 other plumbing companies before I decided to hire Shaw Plumbing. The Technicians Wallace and Roy were very Knowledgeable and Professional. They diagnosed the issue got the parts and completed the repair in a timely manner to my satisfaction.

I had a great experience with Wallace and Roy from Shaw plumbing. I highly recommend their services. They were able to get to my sink clog right away. They worked clean and considerate, removing shoes before coming into the home and carefully keeping the area dry with a vac and sponges. They quickly diagnosed the problem and had everything with them to fix it. Very knowledgeable and I will call them next time I have a need.

We had a water heater start leaking. Shaw plumbing came out, met with Doug and he was very down to earth and explained all my options. After we talked price and decision we signed up to get a new gas tankless water heater. His crew came out next day in the morning and did a great job! Everyone was nice, and professional. Doug was there as well, not just the crew, to check on their work and to ensure everything was done properly.

Originally reached out to Douglas via Thumbtack and he got back to me right away. Described my problem and he gave me a very reasonable quote. Dewayne was out the very next day and was all finished within an hour. Both he and his assistant were very polite and cordial. The new faucet and water shut off works and looks great. I’ve been worried about the old faucet breaking for years and now that worry is gone. I’ve already got some other projects lined up for the future I will reach out to them to fix. These young men are awesome! They came to install a hot water heater and ended up helping with more issues. They are fair with prices very courteous and professional

I hired them for dishwasher line set up. While working, they saw a problem with my faucet installation done by a different company—a handyman. He fixed it for free. Above and beyond. They are my one stop shop for plumbing needs. You’re in good hands with these people.

We had a broken pipe under our house and needed a plumber to come in and tunnel under the slab to fix the pipe. This was a very difficult job, but Shaw Plumbing got it done on time (actually early) and on budget. We got three quotes and this one was the lowest - which is not always a good thing. However, Doug tries to keep his prices down and his customers happy. I would highly recommend Shaw Plumbing regardless of where you are in the Houston Metro area.

Roy and Wallace were exceptional to work with for my repair. They did a very in depth evaluation of our repair, gave us a very competitive quote and completed the job all same day. We'll use them again.

Problem: Leakage

My kitchen faucet hose developed a leak that was flooding the cabinet under the sink and when I described the situation to Shaw Plumbing they identified what needed to be done and were there two days later to repair it. Plumbers Wallace and Roy were professional but also so personable and made quick work of fixing it. I have used Shaw Plumbing before and will continue to use them when I need plumbing repairs.

Shaw’s plumbing did a great job replacing pipe for my sewer line. Not only were their prices better than the other plumbing companies’ proposals, they finished in one day, cleaned up after themselves, and left my backyard in great shape. I would highly recommend!

I am extremely satisfied with Shaw Plumbing and highly recommend their services. I received three estimates, and while Shaw Plumbing was in the middle, they stood out. His professionalism, positive reviews, and knowledge impressed me. He was respectful and knowledgeable as he explained the issue to me. I finally found a plumbing company that I can trust and will undoubtedly use for any of my future plumbing needs. After replacing the broken water line in my yard at a very reasonable cost, I decided to hire Shaw Plumbing to replace the galvanized pipes in my 1950s era home. I made that decision after meeting the owner, Doug Shaw. I could tell he cares about his customers and doing quality work and not cutting corners to increase profits like so many companies do these days. Prices beat everyone we contacted. Great price and work. Wallace and crew came in and quickly replaced our hot water heater in the attic. Respectful of the house and cleaned up once done. Highly recommend

Doug & Dewayne came out to install a new tankless water heater and x2 new sink faucets for us. First I cannot say enough good things about these gentlemen. They are kind and genuine and I immediately felt like we were safe choosing this company to complete the work for us. Don't hesitate to hire Shaw Plumbing, they do not disappoint in pricing, availability, scheduling, or communication. I feel REALLY good about them and trust is SO HARD with technical repair companies & personnel.

We used this plumber (Ben) to repipe our house. He originally started at $5000. After further inspection, but before the job started, he informed me he would need $8500. I thought ' that sounds high, but at least it's all in', and we proceeded with the job. After the job concluded (a job in which no changes were made) he informed me that I 'OWED' him another $1000 for his work.

I had used him a few months prior and he had the AUDACITY to ask me for a tip after I paid $500 for a hose spigot repair (emergency, i was thankful).

This is a BAD PREDATORY BUSINESS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH SPEEDWAY

With this rains I needed my drains to be unclog so I wouldn't get flooded, it's nice to have someone to call and have a quick response. They fit us into their schedule quickly and showed up right on time. They did an incredible job. Very professional & mindful of our budget.
