Bluefrog Plumbing arrived promptly on time, with a service rep picture sent in advance (real nice touch). Lane was our technician and he was professional, kind, and educated me on my plumbing issues. He explained what was hat and why it was happening. Then explained the process of repair, estimated time of repair, and gave me all the information I needed to understand why he was the best option. And everything he explained was correct and efficient. Work was completed expediently and professionally. Would not hesitate to contact Bluefrog in the future with any other plumbing issues.

I called Blue Frog to replace a garbage disposal and check my water heater for any maintenance that might be needed. They were able to schedule a 2 hour appointment window for an hour later.

CJ arrived at the beginning of the appointment time, and quickly confirmed the disposal needed to be replaced. He also did a check on my water heater confirming it was in good shape.

CJ was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly, and even with the need to go buy a replacement disposal for my needs, the new disposal was in place way sooner than I expected. So no issues, no complaints, I'm very happy with the service.

I had a plumbing emergency with my bathroom tub and Bluefrog was able to work with me and have someone there within the hour. CJ was very knowledgeable and helpful! He was able to fix our issue and provided us with a great deal. Would definitely use them again!

I had a plumbing emergency and Blue frog sent Russell and he handled it so professionally and in the most cost-effective way. We had to shut off the water to our house and had no water because it was late in the evening, but he made us a priority and came back first thing in the morning with the part and got everything resolved. Russell did an outstanding job and his work was very thorough and professional.

My technician, Alton was the best! We did the yearly membership which saved us hundreds when we found out a previous owner poorly repiped the house. They did two major digs to identify/fix the improper routing and install a sewer main drain and had us back up and running in under 2 days. When I saw the mess the previous plumbers made, I was horrified. Alton got us squared away with the best option that wouldn’t require us to completely redo the pipes when we just purchased a new home. We were also able to finance the required work at no money down and 0% APR for 12 months. Working with Bluefrog has been a much needed break from the stress we have been going through.

There are many positives to share about this company. The scheduling was fast and easy, and someone actually picked up the phone when I called. A texted link showed the live location of the technician, who arrived on time. He was very professional and courteous, and explained everything clearly.

Why not 5 stars then? Well, the issue I had was I needed my water heater pilot relit, and he asked for authorization for a $268 diagnostic fee. I assumed the problem would be complicated, so I agreed. I know that is 100% on me, which is why this is still an overall positive review. Once I signed he lit the pilot in less than 2 minutes, doing what I would've done. I won't go into the details but I hired a professional due to the circumstances rather than trying it myself first.

I understand that there are minimum trip charges when scheduling service, and often you're paying for the expertise in knowing how to resolve a problem, not necessarily the physical effort in doing it. Even given all that, the amount feels excessive to agree to upfront. If it were a third or even half the amount I would have felt it was fair, even for a minor issue. I understand that's my opinion, and in the future I would still reach out to bluefrog for plumbing needs, but I would absolutely definitely get an estimate or quote before scheduling an appointment.

This is a sad excuse of professional service. The owner of this "Astro Plumbing ", saw absolutly nothing wrong with triple charging a customer after being asked repeatidly to give an estimate/ quote before starting and did not...so he proceeded to stand over an infant while screaming at the poor mother who was home alone with newborn child! He refused to leave after being asked by the frightened lady and finally did after a male was called to help her. This company clearly does not care for a future in this line of work or any area directly dealing with people. The way the OWNER tried to rip off and then bully a female is disgusting. Would not ever do business with Astro Plumbing or recommend to anyone

these guys are fantastic! their plumber, let's call him ralph, really knows his stuff. we had an issue with our water heater in Houston where the pilot light would come on, but the burners wouldn't light up. ralph had our water heater functioning perfectly in less than 30 minutes! he was friendly and professional, and he made sure to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. top-notch service!

our unico, which is a plumbing system, malfunctioned on a sunday. luckily, the very next day, a plumber from Robinson Family Plumbing & Water Heaters was able to come out and assess the situation in houston. By noon on monday, the issue was fully resolved. eli, the technician who came to our rescue, was a bit elusive initially, explaining the problem and his approach to fixing it. Yet, his plumbing skills shone through, and he was able to get our plumbing back in order. Despite the initial confusion, his professionalism and politeness were commendable.

After completing a standard installation, he strengthened a pipe connection to the dishwasher with a more sturdy clamp. Tucker also replaced a damaged valve. He took the time to explain all the tasks he completed and even offered some advice on what kinds of food to avoid when using the disposal. He worked diligently and finished the project in about an hour and a half. He is indeed a fantastic plumber serving in Houston!
