Recommend Keith and his team definitely for hot water heater replacement. After spending the Christmas holidays without hot water he was able to do the install the same day. Did not make me feel pressured to let them do the job and explained the breakdown of the charges. He was knowledgeable on how to make sure the new unit will last.
Hopefully won’t have any other emergency situation in which I would need his services but if I do he will be the first person I would call.

South TX Piping provided prompt and superior service. My water heater went out late one night and water was all over my backyard. I called several 24 hr services, however no one answered or responded to my urgent voice mails which was very disappointing. The next morning, I searched for plumbing services in my zipcode and found South Texas Piping who answered the phone immediately.. There was no waiting or automated system to defer my call but a live person who promptly scheduled my appointment. My Technician, Keith was professional and courteous. He explained the job in detail and provided a quote that was lower than other bids. I quickly authorized my work order with them.. The scooe of work included an analysis estimate, dismantling and hauling off of old heater and installation of the new one. After the job was completed, my technician also cleaned up afterwards. The company van contained their logo and decal as well as my technician uniform shirt. I was comfortable as soon as I met him which is very important when hiring contractors!

I give South TX Piping a 5 STAR Rating. I recommended them as your default plumbing provider for your plumbing needs.

Just serviced my tankless water heater. Did an excellent job. Initially sounded like a jet engine, but when Stephen was finished it was very quiet! Excellent work and excellent customer service.

Kieth is great to work with very humble, friendly, patient, knowledgeable and professional. One of the best I have seen so far. My water heater has been fixed and he acted very promptly to accommodate in his busy schedule during this cold winter time. Thanks.

We had a problem with a clogged toilet and south texas piping was sent out from our home warranty to fix the problem. I have to say the tech that was sent out "Steven" really went above and beyond my expectations!! There was miscommunication between the warranty and South Texas piping and I was a bit reluctant to have them come back out for a second time but because of Steven and only because of Steven's honesty and professionalism was why we were ok with it!!! If choosing this company for any plumbing services I would definitely recommend to ask for Steven to be sent out if you want good quality honest work to be done hands down!!!

Javier arrived on time and with a friendly attitude. He looked everything over, explained what he would be doing, and presented an estimate. He was done in an hour and then showed me how everything was working properly now. I am so happy to have had this recommendation from Kohler. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Steven did us a excellent job this past Monday. He came out in bad weather and explained perfectly all that he did to fix our problems. He truly is a professional at his job. He represents his company like a pro should. Thank you Steven.

Keith gave my in laws a new year warming experience by fixing the water heater. 😊He was very knowledgeable and nice. Although he had to reschedule, he came early the next day and gave us nice vibes and was helpful in showing us what he needed to do to get our water heater back up to code so he can work on it. He even gave us advise on what we needed to do and buy to patch up the gap in the roof so rainwater will not leak into the roof on to the water heater. We will definitely use his expertise again. This is an honest review. Hope to do business with him again in the future.

The work was completed in a timely manner. My toilet system is working as it is supposed to work. The cost of my repairs had been at the forefront of my mind because of the horror stories of unethical plumbers overcharging customers. Not South Texas Piping! The cost of the repairs was much less than I expected.

Amazing customer service! Our Rheem water heater went out and they went above and beyond to help us out. Our heater is located in the attic (basically the third story) and they took it out, brought it to Home Depot for us, and installed it. Steven and Keith were amazing to work with. Highly recommend!

Steven was incredibly helpful for replacing my water heater. Very friendly and was very transparent in explaining everything. 100% will be going with him for any future needs as well and I couldn’t recommend him more.

I was sorely disappointed in South Texas Piping to say the least. I called and spoke with the woman that answers the phone. I told her I was needing a Gas Leak Test and wanted to know what the cost would be. The former company that I had used for years had almost doubled in price. She said that it would not be over $500.00. I booked an appointment for July 3rd at 9:00. I got to church at 8:45 and received a phone call around 9:00 from the company letting me know that the technician would not arrive until at least 9:45. He arrived at 9:45, completed the test and came to me for payment. The charge was $600.00, not $500.00. He said that was the cost for the task he completed. I paid him the $600.00. I left a few hours later and upon coming out of my office, the gas smell was extremely strong. I got in my car, called the company and they said they would send the technician back out. I also mentioned the incorrect price for the test. He arrived and realized that he had not relit the pilot lights for the burners and for the oven! I did get a call back from his superior, after disputing the charge and he said he would need to get back with me on Monday, since that Friday was 4th of July. He did say the tech was very apologetic. I have never heard back from him despite leaving another message on Wednesday after the Monday he was to call. I had to leave a star to post this.

Great service, my Rheem water heater was acting up and they were able to replace it the same day.

My water heater element was broken and after coordinating to get it covered under warranty these guys took care of it quick as well as got the plumbing for the drain and prrssure relief valve piping. Steven did great Im happy with the service

Rudy & Luis attended my home same day ( within an hour) to assist with a warranty claim on our hot water heater. We’d had other plumbers out to address the problem- but nothing had been resolved. Our warranty group advised STP as an authorized service to contact. They came out right away and were able to diagnose the problem, complete the work and ensured we were up to snuff before departing.
Will def have them on my call list for future needs.
