It was a great crew. Good when interacting with us. They answered my questions. Didn't require too much interaction. They came out one afternoon to review problem, which was a faulty water heater, and came back next morning to replace. Hot water again by lunchtime. Company sent text and email to keep me updated. Technician called as well.

Highly recommend Nick’s, especially Master Plumber Don Babin. He was incredible in diagnosing two leak problems at my home. One was related to the sprinkler system and determining is it was an issue on the line to the meter or just a leaking sprinkler line. Replacing the line to the meter is quite expensive vs a minor irrigation line. He stayed with it and I worked with him to assist. He checked them checked again and again until he was confident it was the irrigation line. Correct analysis. That was the “easy one”.

The difficult leak was under my slab in the back. This house was built in 1958 and remodeled by others about 15 years ago. The plumbing company(David Hicks) did a horrible job. The plumbing has been a constant issue. The it is a spaghetti of poorly installed plumbing. The question was where was the line coming from to the rear bathroom. He persisted in trying to diagnose, and kept coming back to a faucet line in the back that made no sense. Why would you trench across the back yard and deal with all the roots from a large tree instead of putting the cold water next to the hot line in the attic. Senseless, but after multiple trips to the attic, checking water to different room, he figured it out. They came today and fixed it. It worked! I’m convinced the he save us $1000’s that other plumbers might have just guessed and when didn’t work, try another and another option.

Don is very professional and the best plumber that I have come across. Nicks is fortunate to have him.

My Goodman AC system stopped cooling because of a system leak (this was its 2nd leak in 10 years since the house was built). I decided to give Nick’s a try because I heard them advertised on AM740 radio in Houston as a nice family business. Miguel from Nick’s came out and he was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous, and after diagnosing the problem, provided all the available options for getting the system working again. In my case, I chose to replace the AC side completely with a Trane system (well known for their reliability) and kept the existing furnace side. Nick’s sent out a crew of 3 (lead by Salvador) the same day to complete the replacement of the AC system. They were all also professional, remained on task, and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. The only complaint is that the new Trane system that was installed was not compatible with the Nest thermostat I had and I was told they had to install a non-"Smart" thermostat to get me through the weekend. I was told someone would return on Monday with a Honeywell "Smart" thermostat but when I called Nick's on Monday, I was told there would be an extra cost of a few hundred dollars to install a Smart thermostat (contrary to what was implied previously). Given the cost they quoted to install a Smart thermostat, I am going to purchase my own and install it (after all, I installed the Nest I had before). Although I’ve got a cool home again with an AC system that I am optimistic will be trouble free for the next 10 years, it would have been nice if Nick's kept their word on following up on Monday to install a Smart thermostat. Overall, I am not disappointed I went with Nick’s Plumbing and Air Conditioning and so I give them 4 stars instead of 5.

We had techs Sergio Gordillo and James Carrizales come in and install our new furnace and they were very professional and respectful of our home, a day later we had William Peterson and another tech come in and install our water heater and again, they were very professional and respectful of our home. The overall experience with your company is one of the satisfaction of professionals coming in and doing work in a timely and efficient manner. I will have no hesitation in giving anybody your information if they are needing services that you provide. Thank you

They came the same day I called. The two gentlemen that came were so polite and helpful. I was referred to a water restoration company that was wonderful. I will certainly use Nicks Plumbing company again!

Customer service was 5*. The phone agent was courteous and informed me of subscription specials. She even called me back to tell me the service technician will be arriving earlier than scheduled (which was perfect since I wasn't working that day). Jarrod is awesome at his job. He cared about his work and listened to my concerns. He did the most he could to learn exactly what problem was facing us. If he had only done the job of snaking the drains (which was the original plan), I'd complain that the charge was a bit on the expensive side. But since he was able to scope and pinpoint the problem without up charging, I appreciated his interest in easing my curiosity of knowing exactly how badly the sewage blockage was in two separate spots. Thank you phone agent and Jarrod for your great service!

Called Nick’s Plumbing in AM to fix toilet that had stopped working. Don from Nick’s arrived at the scheduled time that afternoon. Replaced the flushing mechanism. Cleaned the area where he worked. All done quickly—15 minutes. First time we used Nicks. They are now our “go to” plumbers. Will always ask for Don.

I had a plumbing emergency and Nick’s plumbing was able to come out within the hour. They provided me a quote and I had running water by the afternoon! The technician worked efficiently and kept me up to date.

Neil Y and David L saved the day!! Tankless hot water heater went out when Houston was frozen over. They came right away and stayed almost three hours to figure it out and get my hot water working again! Thanks for coming and fixing everything. You both are awesome!!

I strongly advise you to consider a different company.

An individual came over to check the garbage disposal. The blades were bent and he proposed we replace the whole thing since there is no other solution. He asked for $600 dollars for the installation of a new disposal which miraculously decreased to $400 after he saw that we were hesitant, and kept pushing by saying that he had one in the van right now and could do it right away, etc.

The individual spoke to me in a disrespectful, almost demeaning manner.

The individual literally opened a conversation about very sensitive topics like religion, culture and nationality.

He was not at all considerate to wear shoe protectors (which most professionals do when they come over to fix something) when he clearly saw that I have 2 very young children at home.

I was incredibly pleased with the services provided by Master Plumber Jarrod. He was so professional, he explained my issues in detailed, provided me with pictures so I could see the problem for myself. He updated me on every step of the process. I could tell that he loves what his work and his goal is satisfy the customer. I highly recommend Jarrod to your future customers.

My experience with Nick's was very good. They were able to come out quickly (on a Saturday), the plumber was professional and polite, and completed the repairs quickly. I would recommend.

My service experience was exceptional! Valton and his assistant arrived on time, explained what needed to be done to fix a badly leaking, fractured copper pipe leading to an outdoor faucet, explained the cost and then completed the work in a timely manner. We will call Nick’s the next time we need a plumber. I highly recommend them.

Joe arrived on time and was so pleasant to work with. As a senior woman I’m accustomed to being dismissed or patronized however Joe asked questions and provided explanations respectfully; we also swapped friendly plumbing stories - the whole experience was very comfortable. The finished work exceeded my expectations but to be sure I sent pictures to a friend who owns some rental properties and he said it “looks like a work of art”.

We were SO impressed with Nick's relative to the installation of our new HVAC. First, our appointment window with them was 8:00 am to 10:00 am. The crew arrived at 7:50 am with all of our new equipment ! This kind of promptness literally NEVER occurs as most reading this will concur. Most of the time, one is lucky to have a service team show up any sooner than the very end of a window and most of the time , without all of the necessary equipment and tools. Not Nick's! A+ for promptness!

Next, they had all of the old equipment out and the new equipment in and running by 3:00 pm! And, when they finished , they swept and vacuumed the attic and ladder leading to the attic, and the floor!

The new equipment is very efficient and quiet and all done with the utmost professionalism ! We highly recommend Nick's and we certainly will use them for all of HVAC needs in the future!

We had a great experience with Nick’s Plumbing. Our technician, Josh, was very professional and took the time to clearly explain everything. He provided estimates up front before starting any work, which we really appreciated. We had a dual sink stoppage, and Josh was able to clear it out and also replace the P-trap. The whole process was smooth and efficient. Highly recommend Josh and Nick’s Plumbing for reliable service!

Don was the technician sent to my home. He was very courtiagious, Professional and knowledgeable of his job. He didn't make a mess. The pricing was a little out of my pay range. But I would highly recommend Nick's Plumbing & air. This was my 2nd time having one of their technician in my home. Though I didn't accept the service at that time. I wished I had afterwards.

We have been clients for years and they have been truly great. Solutions might be pricy but reasonable overall and the work quality is good! Prices are never the most expensive or the cheapest but we have always been able to count on their being courteous, competent, timely, and good at communicating and documenting the issues.
Recently we had some issues with our HVAC and Stephen Myles (our technician) has been awesome coming to help and sort the issues with us.
Would highly recommend!

Joe, the technician was prompt and on time and very professional. The only issue I had is I was quoted a very super high price for an hour worth of work which included replacing a slightly leaking-cartridge in the shower and two small handles underneath the sink . Joe was very articulate and explained everything but I think I was charged one and a half times for what in my opinion was appropriate. But once they were here, I agreed to let them do the work. next time, I guess I will have other companies give competitive pricing.

By far the most professional contractor I have ever worked with. I highly recommend using Nicks Plumbing. I am 68 years old.

Called Nicks Plumbing around 9:00am. They immediately scheduled an appointment between 11:00 & 1:00. Nicks called me @ 10:40 advising me the tech would arrive shortly. Arrived per conversation and immediately worked up pricing on project.

I gave John the okay to replace and repair pipes near main incoming water line. John took photos of all work performed and occasionally would ask me to checkout the job as he performed repairs. Again, taking videos and photos of worked performed. Job completed as the proposal submitted and no additional fees or unanticipated hiccups. Save yourselves the trouble, if plumbing repairs are required “Call Nicks Plumbing”

Lastly, the plumbing technician was extremely sharp, educated and very detailed in his assessment of repairs required. Proposal and 100% of the repairs performed in the same day.
I will only use Nicks in the future.

They did a very good job on my blocked sewage pipe. The digging was done properly, clean, and in order, not messy. The only thing that I would be happy if they can lower the T/S fee (it is $800 just for the troubleshooting. I believe it is way expensive).
They give 10 yrs warranty on workmanship. I have to wait on this to see if they've done a proper work on sealing the pipe. My previous contrator didn't do a good job on this, and that's why the pipe got clogged by tree root again.
