My experience wih Pilix was phenomenal. My water heater failed, in the dead of Texas winter. I set up an appointment Thursday, they came out Friday and replaced my water heater on Saturday. Jose walked me through where the old (house original) water heater failed and showed me how I could fix it or replace it. Ultimately I decided to replace it because it was different enough in price and I knew that it would last. They also fixed a couple of valves on my water main shutoff and installed a gas main shut off.

All in all, exccellent work, customer service and support.

Pilix plumbing came to the rescue when called upon. They were fast. Reasonably priced. Clean. Professional. And very patient with all our questions and requests. I will use them again if the need arises in the future. Thank you pilix.

PILIX plumbing was very efficient and communicative through the initial booking/assessment process, as well as leading up to and after the installation of a new water heater. They were amenable to requests to include a water stop valve, and were diligent and efficient in the installation process. I can't recommend them enough!

Main Sewer Line Problem

Quality local work was not hard to find, however I was pressed for time. I contacted several plumbers in my area. I chose Pilix Plumbing after a conversation with Jose where he presented multiple, detailed options based on my problem & plumbing layout. Jose & Bryan arrived at my home for a better understanding of what work needed to be done.

The job was simple to understand & they assured me it would be done before another backup flood into my home would occur. After 2 days, my main sewer line was replaced and backfilled. The bathroom was inoperable for just a few hours. They sent me multiple before & after photos of the job.

Pilix Plumbing was clear & professional from the start, reasonable pricing, & they were easy to talk to about what was going on with my plumbing. Easy financing & I am satisfied with their service.

Let me just start by saying that Jose is extremely professional, very knowledgable (he's a master plumber and carries his certification as proof) and will not try to oversell you. I needed new toilets and routine maintenance. Jose came out to my house for a walkthrough and throughly checked everything I asked him to look at. After the walkthrough, we sat down and discussed the work. He was super transparent and up front with the exact cost. He showed up right on time and completed all the work in an efficient manner and was so tidy (he puts on these shoe covers every single time he comes inside to prevent tracking in mud). He is now my go-to plumber and I couldn't be happier with the quality of his service.

Completely Misled – Ignored My Requests, Gave False Confidence, and Cost Me Money

I had this plumber come out to look at a long-standing issue affecting multiple sinks and tubs throughout my home. I explained clearly that the system had already been flushed several times before by other professionals, with no real results.

Because of that, I asked him repeatedly—at least a dozen times—to start with just one tub so I could see if his method would actually work before committing to the full job. He completely disregarded that request and insisted the entire house needed to be done, saying it wouldn’t work otherwise.

Even though I told him I was skeptical, he continued to reassure me with full confidence that it would work because he would “do it better” than anyone else. He even admitted there was a slight chance it might not work, which made his refusal to start small even more frustrating.

I also told him the tub faucet had already been replaced, but he went ahead and replaced it anyway—something I didn’t ask for and didn’t need.

And sure enough, nothing improved. The same issues are still happening. When I contacted him afterward to let him know the results, he didn’t offer to fix it or stand behind the work—instead, he asked if I wanted to be scheduled again. When I asked if there would be a charge, he said, “Absolutely, yes ma’am.”

So not only did he pressure me into doing the whole house against my better judgment, he charged a lot of money for something that didn’t work, and now he wants to charge me again to come back.

This experience was extremely frustrating. I feel taken advantage of, dismissed, and ignored. I would strongly caution anyone considering this plumber. If you value honest communication, accountability, and results—look elsewhere.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Came in clutch within 2 hours for an emergency sewer line issue. Did proper set up draining to keep me operational until line could be repaired. Jose was super responsive and came very quickly to take care of my plumbing issues. He was very open about pricing and what could be the issue and what the various charges could be. I am very happy to have found him. I had to have extensive sewage pipes replaced under my house since it's almost 100 years old. I shopped around to 2 other plumbers and their pricing was considerably more. And he is a master plumber, so I was confident in his work and that it will be done to code. It all came out really well.

Jose and his team were thorough and clearly honest, as we had several quotes prior to meeting them.
