I had a terrible experience with Cruz Electric during a recent power outage. Our generator failed to kick on, leaving us in the dark, so we booked an appointment with Cruz Electric, receiving both text and email confirmations. We were counting on their service, but at the last minute, they canceled without any prior warning or explanation. This left us scrambling to find another solution during a critical time. Their service was completely unreliable, and the lack of communication was beyond frustrating. I would not recommend Cruz Electric to anyone needing dependable generator repair. Save yourself the hassle and look elsewhere.

We got a generator with Cruz Air. Other companies were telling me it would take 6 months or more. Cruz told me they could start immediately. They were very prompt and did a great job at a competitive price. Our job wasn't a-typical, because we also had solar and Tesla wall batteries. They made sure to work with the solar company to insure everything was integrated correctly and our solar warranty was not lost due to altering things without the companies imput. They also came back during Beryl and worked past 2 in the morning to help neighbors whose generators were having issues. I would highly recommend them!

I contacted Cruz to quote a complete AC replacement. Travis and Chris came out the same day to provide a quote and answer any concerns I had. After looking at all my options, I decided that Travis’s professionalism, ability to answer my concerns, and no “high pressure” sales pitch won me over. After we agreed to the job, Cruz had a crew out the next day for the replacement. From start to finish everyone at Cruz has been very polite, honest, and professional. Very pleased with the whole process.

Two weeks ago AC was blowing warm air. Tech came out and said I needed an ac charge... at $90 per pound. Paid a little over $800. He never checked for the leak, just told me I needed coolant. Needless to say, I'm back where I started... with a hot home. I cannot recommend them AT ALL.

Travis was great! Cruz Air is Awesome! He went on and beyond the call of duty and I only wish that all service people could be as wonderful, kind, and compassionate as him. He made my day! -Barbara F

Have used for years. A very loyal customer. Recently the downstairs system went out and was told by CRUZ
Electric that I needed a new system. Unfortunately their quote was double expected. Turns out they had totaled
both options into the final price. So unaware of that error, I called for other estimates. Competitor noted their error. However, I told Emilio that I had minor issues with CRUZ before. CRUZ installed my upstairs unit 2 years prior. And it has never functioned well. I have called, even 2 weeks ago, and basically "it's the Houston heat. Not our system." MADD AIR came, gave me an estimate for the broken system, and looked at the upstairs 2 yo system. Without a service charge. Faulty compressor and pressure timing switch.
System repaired and now works. First time I have seen the temperature and thermostat equal since installation in this "Houston heat." And they installed the new system the next day.
Oh and remember when you told me to hire my own electrician with that install 2 years ago because yours wasn't available?? $600 extra!

The Cruz’s have installed two generac generators in our last two homes. The one we are in now worked for 7 days straight. He even gave me some pointers on what to do after it ran for a couple days and how to keep it cool. If you need a trustful company, and will educate you on the products- these are your guys! Family owned and operated! Get with these guys for one asap- do not wait for the next time it’s needed.

Our upstairs ac was faltering and we called Cruz because they installed our downstairs ac a few years ago. Chris was our technician and he quickly diagnosed the problem. We needed a new ac and furnace and it was installed within 3 days. Chris returned after the installers to do a final check of the system. The air is blowing at a cool 61 degrees. We are grateful for the quick response and the expertise from Chris and the contractors. Also, we researched Armstrong systems, our new ac, and it gets top reviews from people in the industry and homeowners.

Outstanding service! Came back to the house after being gone for 3 days to a leaking AC unit in the attic. Our insurance company recommended Cruz and they did a great job. Our repair person, Chris, kept us informed throughout the repair and mitigation effort. He explained things in a way we understood what was being done and he provided advice to us concerning maintenance of the unit and ways to mitigate the problem. Highly recommend this company.

Cruz Air & Electric has been my go to company for many years now. I trust their team with my HVAC and Electrical needs. This is my second generator I have had them install on both of my homes. The entire staff from office personnel (Diana and Phobie), to the HVAC department (Travis and Chris), to the electrical side (Adam, Mario, and others) have been professional, on time, and over all the BEST customer service. Travis did an exceptional job while inspecting my heater. Found the piping had an exhaust leak (most likely not connecting back correctly after roof replacement) which could have been deadly. I have always trusted Cruz. Always professional and courteous.

Cruz Air & Electric has been our chosen servicing company for years because of their reliability, knowledge, and competency. We came to a home with no A/C and water overflow into a bathroom sink. Chris was the on-call tech this Friday evening, explained how things happened, and gave info at each step so that we understood. He was able to get the A/C working and house cooling down in a short time period. There are times when life happens, but we had the pleasure of meeting Chris and it was worth that experience.

Super thankful to have Travis B. come out today to get our AC and heat back up and running! Travis was extremely quick, efficient, and got us in last minute to swap out a broken zoning panel for us that was preventing both heat and AC from working. We have a 10 month old so having our home a safe temp for him in Texas’ up and down weather is always high priority. Later that day an issue (caused by a different HVAC company who previously did work for us) popped up and Travis came back that same night, found the culprit and corrected it. Highly recommend for any HVAC repair and maintenance needs!

They installed a whole-home generator and pendant lights with precision and care, making sure everything was done neatly and efficiently. Rick was very knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. He was able to diagnose my issue and give me several solution options to get me running again. He also noted and made me aware of other items on my system that may be issues down the road but did not pressure me to fix right away. I really appreciated that.

I would like to share my experience with the double 3 ton system that was installed today. First off, the pricing for this double install was incredible. I shopped around with many companies and this was a great price point. The crew showed up promptly at 8am, as scheduled. They demoed my old equipment in a matter of minutes. The equipment was nicely placed in their trailer so there was no mess in the front yard. The crew brought in new equipment, which drop cloths were laid down to prevent any stains. In a timely matter equipment was installed nice and neat. The mastic was painted on with straight lines and also redesigned my ductwork for better air flow. They also added plywood for more decking space, which was a huge plus. Condensers were installed straight with connections nicely designed to mirror the other condenser. I know this is a lil long winded, but I was overly impressed with the outcome. I HIGHLY recommend using this very well experienced crew and company. I would give them 100 stars if I could.
