I recently had a water issue at my main bathroom home in Plano, and Christian and Julian from CWF Water Mitigation team went above and beyond to help. From the moment they arrived, they were professional, kind, and incredibly customer-focused. They took the time to explain everything clearly, answered all my questions.

What really stood out to me was their integrity. In a situation where some companies might try to upsell or take advantage, Christian and Julian were honest and focused on what was truly needed. It’s rare to find people who care more about helping than making a quick buck, and I’m grateful for that.

Very thorough and professional. Every step is explained and detailed in the billing. The tech that did our evaluation was Joshua, and he was very nice and a real pro engineer.

Our water heater decided to loose its water late Tuesday night 1/14/2025. I was referred to CWF Restoration by my son Kris Follmer. Josh was out here the next morning to inspect the damage and he explained what CWF would do for us step by step. The next day Frankie and Christian were out to open up the damaged wall and pull up the damaged flooring. They set up fans and dehumidifiers to dry out affected areas. All of them have made this experience less stressful for me and my husband. I would highly recommend CFW to family and friends. As a newbie homeowner, the discovery of water damage and mold in my master bathroom was a little overwhelming. I am so grateful that I was connected with the CWF Restoration team to help walk me through everything, which really put a lot of my concerns at ease.

Eric, the project manager, came out late on a Friday to do the initial assessment and very patiently answered all of my (many) questions throughout the process. Julian and Christian handled the actual mitigation work; they were timely, friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely capable. I had emergency plumbing situation pop up in the middle of the night. Marco, Julian, Jacob, and Eric were all prompt, professional, and came in and got the issue taking care in a timely manner. Highly recommend!

I came home from work to find a puddle near the refrigerator. After the plumber came and let me know it was a broken pipe in the wall, he stated he would call in a remediation company to determine the extent of the damage, remove the cabinets and clean everything up. Within an hour, Ruben at CWFTexas showed up and assessed the damage. He said his crew would be back the next day to get started on the cleanup. John and Terrel (I think that was his name) showed up the next day, on time and ready to help me. They were both so kind and professional. They were thorough, knowledgeable and worked efficiently. After my dishwasher leaked under my kitchen cabinets, CWF came out to clean the resulting mold growth. I was expecting them to have to tear out all my kitchen cabinets on one half of my kitchen. Frankie, Julian, and Liz were very professional and efficient. They ended up only having to take out the bottom cabinets because the mold was not as high as expected. They were able to save my countertop and cabinet fronts, so the restoration phase will be easier. Before they left, they made sure all my questions were answered. I highly recommend them!

Christian and Julian went above and beyond in cleaning up the debris from our soaked closet (due to a leak behind the wall). They even provided a temporary cover and seal for the drywall and baseboard cutouts! My experience with CWF Restoration has been great and I can definitely recommend them.

Warning: Misleading Practices – Caution Before Hiring CWF Restoration

I want to share my experience with CWF Restoration to warn others. We initially agreed with them that the total cost of the work would be $650, which was supposed to include fixing the walls, replacing a small area of carpet, and all other necessary work.

However, after the work began, the contract they sent excluded major parts of the work we had agreed on, including wall repairs and carpet replacement. When I reached out via email and phone for clarification, they ignored my messages and calls. Eventually, they just sent an invoice for a higher amount than initially agreed.

This is misleading and unprofessional. I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring CWF Restoration—make sure every detail is clearly in writing before work begins, because verbal agreements and assurances do not seem to be honored.

Eric was amazing! He was able to come out fast to inspect our damage. He helped us understand how everything works with insurance and the process of everything. Will always recommend them to family and friends!
