Fantastic work, honest and very knowledgeable and professional. My elderly mother who lives in a high rise just called to tell me how pleased she was. They fixed a "Singing" toilet that three plumbers previously had failed to repair, they fixed a garbage disposal that had a screw jammed under the blade as well as a shower leak. Reasonably priced.

EXPENSIVE AND POOR COMMUNICATION. No rough estimate provided before starting to work. I happend to call them last month while having my restroom clogged. As per phone conversation, I was told technician will be there and look around the issue and then will give me details. Then, we can agree to work on it or not. And the charge was told as below: $60 service charge and $140 per hour cost. I agreed to the deal.
But when technician arrived, they start working on it without providing me any details about what needs to be done and how much time they might take to complete the task. They took 2.5 hrs to complete task. Since they were charging me per hours, I ended up paying close to $500 for it. So far, restroom seems to be working fine (no complain about technician part).
Later I called S&T to ask why rough estimate and details was not provided to me beforehand, she was very unprofessional.

S & t plumbing did the job right. They communicated well and were knowledgeable about my situation. The owner even took time to discuss the issue with me before I hired them. They came out within the time frame promised and did the job quickly.

Horrible experience.

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the service I received when you came to fix my clogged drains. Instead of addressing the issue, your team spent time watching “how to” videos in my home.

This is completely unacceptable. I expected a professional approach to resolve my plumbing problem, not a tutorial session.

Very friendly yet professional. Detailed explanations and photos to explain the issues. I felt treated with respect.

Good response from Steve. On time, gave me good information, completed work effectively. Full disclosure I was solicited for this review and I'm completing this on initial diagnostics and not ultimate repair. So this isn't an organic review which probably inflates the star rating which probably has a budget behind it which probably raises my price which they would probably justify with the high star rating. I'm not in support of that practice. Having said that, I did go with them to complete the repair and so far I'm happy.

Let me start by saying the dispatcher, drain cleaner, and the water restoration person were all exceptional. With that being said, I was SHOCKED at the cost of service. For 15 minutes of actual work to unplug my kitchen sink line with a clean out totally accessible my bill was right at $500. I almost had a heart attack. I worked in the plumbing field after retiring from the United States Air Force. During the 18 years I worked in plumbing… this is a total rip off. Heck, a surgeon probably doesn’t make that much money. I realize the company needs to make a profit but come on. I feel so bad for people who don’t make a ton of money and are just trying to make ends meet and have a situation like this happen to them…they would probably have to get a second job in order to pay the bill. Needless to say, I will NEVER call this company again and hopefully everyone who reads this won’t either. Not a happy camper.

I had a great experience. The tech guy Drew was quick and efficient in resolving the problem.

Juan was our technician for a kitchen sink clog issue that left us without use of the kitchen for some time. We truly got lucky with his service. He was patient and understanding of our situation and walked us through our best options. Not only did he listen, but he took the time to explain the warranty and process. I highly recommend Juan and his services with Roto-Rooter.

Roto-Rooter plumbers Dave and Tyler left my house like this after claiming that the compression nut and sleeve couldn't be removed.. I can't believe that professional plumbers have never heard of a "compression sleeve puller tool".

Today(6-21-2022), supervisor John & tradesman James came out and corrected the plumbing procedure that was initially performed by the previous technician & his apprentice last week. John stated that going forward he would ensure that the technicians clearly explain what they are doing to the customers, and if they can't do a particular process that the customers know this in advance. This will avoid future misunderstandings by what is communicated to the customer from the technicians. Supervisor John & tradesman James extended the pipes without cutting additional sheet rock. Had the first technician and his apprentice removed the compression sleeve and nut, they could have cut and extended the pipe without cutting the sheetrock at all.

However, the fix by supervisor John and his tradesman James will make it easier for the homeowners (us) to install new sheetrock. Supervisor John also purchased a new Kitchen Sink Drain with basket for the customer to replace a corroded nut on the bottom of the drain to repair a leak that we didn’t know we even had. Supervisor John and tradesman James did an outstanding job to correct the work performed by the previous technicians.

The homeowners are satisfied with the corrected work (pictures attached). The sheetrock will still have to be replaced, but this shouldn't be a difficult task.

One final caveat, make sure you research how your problem can be resolved before any technician arrive so that you can be prepared to state what you are willing to accept as a solution.

I had two issues at my house thinking maybe it was combined. Main issue was our kitchen sink and secondary issue was our bathroom sink & bathtub. My husband called and they were able to schedule some to come out soon. The 1st guy that they sent you could tell didn't want to be here. Told him the issues and showed him what was going on. When I explained to him that we were told by another plumber that it sounded like we needed our pipes to be hydro jetted he said well I don't do that I'll will have to call dispatch to bring someone else but your restroom I can unclog. When I explain to him my main concern is the kitchen sink and the pipe his response was well I can try to see if I can fix it ?!?! Called my husband and we decided nope as he leaves he says well I just wasted my Friday morning coming out here. My husband calls customer service and they send us another plumber who's name is i believe Kelvin and he was wonderful. Great attitude, great customer service and explained wonderfully for me to understand. I do give give him 5 stars you can tell he knows what he is doing. He saved the day.

Steven was very professional and explained what steps he was taking and if any costs would be occurred. Even though the issue could not be fixed he was provided me with next steps and expectations.

Amazing service! I was out of the country and my sump pump system went out threatening a flood of our basement. Roto Rooter was there in less than an hour and got the whole system diagnosed, replaced, tested and up and running in a couple of hours. Bry was amazing and the entire customer experience from start (customer service request) to finish was flawless. Thank you Roto Rooter!!

The tech that came out was very knowledgeable with great experience in fixing my issue. He had a very positive attitude and was helpful. I would recommend their service again.
