Matt did an amazing job. He was kind, honest, professional and explained everything in detail. Plus Garner accepted my service call and had someone at my house within 40 mins. Definitely recommend Garner.

Our A/C went out on us Today :-( So I looked around for someone to come out ASAP. So I hit Google and found Garner which had impeccable reviews so I scheduled an appointment. Next day was all that was available. No worries as they appeared to be extremely busy so I gratefully took the appt, I was just glad that they were able to fit me in for next day service Yay! Got a call a couple of hours later, they told me that they were on the way. Wow! same day service! Matt came out...he was very personable and professional, he explained what was going on so even I could understand (Thanks Matt). He was able to complete the work quickly and we are cooling down again. :-) Were happy to have called on Garner for help. Garner you are a blessing...Thanks :-)

The technician Chevy was very knowledgeable. Found a problem that would have created an outage at some point so we went ahead and corrected it at this time. That is why I have the semi annual service.

We were referred to Garner by our son and had the best experience with them. Chase, our Comfort Consultant, was very attentive to our requests before & during our install. He came back to inspect our new system a couple weeks after it was done to make sure everything was perfect - and it is.
The lead on our install was Ethan, who explained each item that was a problem with the old system and gave us photos to illustrate. During the job, he let me know the progress & gave photos of the new system for every former trouble spot. Ethan's 2 technicians, Jason & Angel, were great, polite, & cleaned up every place there was any indication they had ever been here.
Our new system runs so well that we actually had to set our thermostat to a higher temp because we got cold. It's run like a dream when the temps hit near 100° this past weekend.
We're thrilled with our new system & the great work Garner did! Hire them - you won't regret it.

Thank you for your response. However, I stand by my review and feel it’s important to clarify a few key points.

First, I did respond—in writing—because I prefer clear, documented communication, especially when it involves significant repair estimates. Your technician may have been onsite for an extended time, but I was not given a full or clear estimate in person, and when I followed up via email with valid questions, I received generic responses that didn’t address my specific concerns about the scope or necessity of the proposed work.

Second, I did not “refuse” to speak—I was working, and your team was aware of that. This is exactly why I communicated through email, which should not be interpreted as uncooperative. Timely, professional email communication is still a form of engagement and should be respected as such.

Regarding the pricing: expressing concern or asking for clarification about a quote—especially one that felt excessive for an 18-year-old system—is not “haggling.” It’s due diligence. Your response to my inquiries came across as rigid rather than collaborative, which is where the service experience broke down for me.

Finally, the 1-star review was not about the diagnostic fee which a customers business should be earned, it was about the lack of transparency, the tone of communication, and the overall customer experience. If reviews are meant to reflect honest experiences, I believe mine accurately reflects how I was treated.

I appreciate that you “take reviews seriously,” but that starts with listening and acknowledging a customer’s perspective without defaulting to blame as I see you do in every negative review on Google.

Chey Simpson did an amazing job at getting our system back to functioning properly and going over everything he did. Would highly recommend him and Garner.

What a great company! Max B. has been awesome throughout entire process and is such a sweet soul. The installer Ethan was kind and thorough and the install process of the new system was so fast. I appreciate their kindness with my mom that has Alzheimer’s, even helped her look for her cat that was scared and hiding but mom just knew he had got out, he had not. Give these guys a raise!

I had an AC problem and Omar found the fix quickly along with providing me with a bunch of useful tips and info. I got way more out of the service call than I expected. Thanks!

Max (Project Manager), Ethan and his team are truly amazing. Our 22-year old system finally gave up the ghost and Garner sprang into action. They professionally and efficiently installed a new AC system leaving everything better and tidier than the original instal. Everyone was respectful and was focused on doing a great job - mission succeeded. Ethan took the time to carefully explain the operation of the new thermostat, patiently answering all my dumb questions. When they left I went around prepared to clean up but there was nothing to do - the place was spotless.
Highly recommend Garner to anyone looking for solid professional, no Bs, service and maintenance on their AC system.

Technicians from Garner heating and AC preformed a deep cleaning on my ductless split unit inside and out. I was very pleased with the service they provided. They exceeded my expectation! They were more thorough than I expected. I now have a local AC service company that I will use in the future.

Garner is our go to for heating/cooling. They are always quick to assist when there’s trouble with our system. Eli Dover comes every visit and does a stand up job! He is very knowledgeable and I know we are in the right hands when he’s working on our units!

Garner does all my maintenance on my HVAC unit. I trust them to do the right thing. Omar did an excellent job on my most recent checkup!

So grateful we got a second quote from Garner!!! The first company came out and told us that the coils were the issue and needed to be replaced. They said they tried to order the parts but couldn’t find them so they’d have to replace the system to the tune of $12-15K!!! Garners amazing staff came out the next day and assessed the situation without knowing anything about the other company and said it was the coils and something else and they were able to clean the coils and do a few other items and quoted us $940 for a repair!!!! We were floored at the price differential and were so saddened at the other companies continuous push and encouragement to try and get us to purchase a new AC unit! Apparently too we have a commercial size AC unit for some reason and they said we couldn’t downsize due to duct work. So it was very concerning for us because we didn’t have that kind of cash!! Thank you again to Garner for being honest, trustworthy and professional staff!!!!!! I will never go anywhere else!!!!

Ohmar was polite and on schedule. He was efficient and thorough. He was well trained and we were confident in his work. A good choice for Heating and AC work

Ryan showed up early, diagnosed a bad sensor in our air handler, and got it replaced while I did conference calls for work. A/C problem fixed within six hours of my reporting it - thanks Ryan and Garner Heating & A/C !

Garner Heating & Air Conditioning Inc is the best. Very professional when it comes to a complete AC installation package. They are very knowledgeable and answered all my questions to my satisfaction. The new AC unit is running like a champ and keeping us very cool in this hot summer.
