The owner John was the technician who came out, and he was absolutely great to work with. He performed thorough diagnostic tests and took the time to explain everything in a clear, straightforward way so I knew exactly what was going on and what would need to be addressed moving forward.

Even better, he went above and beyond by cleaning out some of the ducts to help temporarily alleviate the issue until a more permanent fix could be made. It was a thoughtful and effective touch that showed real care for customer comfort and service.

John was prompt, courteous, and incredibly knowledgeable. I felt confident in the assessment and appreciated how honest and transparent the whole process was. Every one of their installers and Jose, the lead, are the epitome of professional. The service was outstanding and the price was competitive if not lower than the larger heating and air companies. We could not be happier and will use them from now on and recommend to all we know.

Ismael was great. We got a heads up that he was on the way and he showed up on time. He checked our outside unit and climbed up to inspect our air handler inside the building. He communicated the current status of our system in simple terms. I highly recommend.

We had a truly excellent experience with Prodigy Heating and Air, and especially with our technician, Jose. From start to finish, the service was professional, transparent, and efficient.

We booked our appointment online and were given an 8–10 AM arrival window. Jose personally called around 8:15 to give us a heads-up that he’d be arriving closer to 9:30–10:00 — and he showed up right at 9:50, exactly as promised. He also sent a photo of himself ahead of time, which my partner really appreciated — a thoughtful touch that made us feel safe and respected.

The issue was an AC unit intermittently shutting off, and Jose diagnosed it quickly: a blocked condensate drain that was tripping the float switch. He explained everything clearly, let us observe the work as it was happening, and even walked us through how the float system works so we’d understand what to watch for in the future.

He vacuumed out a ton of gunk from the line, added a union for future access without cutting pipe (great move), and ran compressed air to fully clear the blockage. No upselling, no BS — just solid, competent work. The entire visit came in under $300, which we thought was more than fair given the work done.

Jose was kind, communicative, and thorough. We would absolutely use Prodigy again, and we’ll be requesting him by name.

These guys are honest, hard working, and have the utmost integrity. Been using them for a few years for biannual inspections and they even recently replaced my entire hvac system. I have no plans to go with anyone else.

I came home from work to a freezing home. My son recommended Prodigy. I called and at first they made me an appointment for the next morning. They said they would call if someone could come sooner. Sure enough I got a call 15 minutes later they had a technician around the corner who was going to head over. One hour later our heat is back on!! I highly recommend them!!

Updating this as I continue to keep getting outstanding service. Today we had Alex and Garrett come out and perform work assessed by Jose. Man each technician I meet with this company just is fantastic. Thank you all for your quick and thorough work performed on our mini split. The Prodigy team saved our unit that was installed incorrectly by independent contractors. Thank you Jose, Garrett, Alex for answering all my questions and concerns. Quick responses and turnaround time.
I believe the charges and services provided were on par and fair compared to other companies. Even signed up for yearly maintenance plan due to competitive pricing.

Wow! Great service! Alex and Garrett were so nice, efficient, and helpful. They got me diagnosed and were able to get the part and although it was across town and it was late afternoon on a Friday they had no problems running and getting the part and staying till 8 o’clock at night on a Friday night to get my air conditioner up and running so that I could attend an event the next day. They could’ve easily postponed for the repair during normal duty hours, but were happy to fix me late into a Friday evening. So helpful! They had such great manners and great customer service skills and they answered every question very clearly and were completely helpful the whole time. A third worker came in Ismael, and he was very helpful and helped them get the installation finished up. He was great also! Such nice employees, such knowledgeable employees, I’m really impressed with this company. It tells me a lot that their service reps Alex, Garrett, and Ismael are so competent and friendly and helpful. I will recommend them to everyone and I will also sign up for their maintenance plan every year. Thank you!

I highly recommend Prodigy Heating & Air. Not only they correctly diagnosed the problem of water leaks from my HVAC A/C that has plagued me for so many years, they were also quick to respond to my inquiry and to replace the socking wet plenum within a day. Furthermore, upon the completion of new plenum installation, Jose performed quality inspections and came back the next day with another fresh new plenum to redo some of the works for perfection without additional charge. How is that for professionalism and perfectionism. Since then, my A/C works like a charm. I have nothing but praise to Jose, Ismael, and Garrett. Job well done, Guys! If you are looking for A/C service, go no further, you will not be disappointed with Prodigy Heating & Air.

Hello, the initial experience was a great one. Jose was patient and informative whilst a non-initiated, just enough experience in HVAC to be dangerous person was trying to explain the supposed issue. His prognosis was understandable and short. This makes it easy for spending approval. Hope future experiences are just as GREAT!

I love these guys. I don't know how it is that a service provider inspires trust and confidence, but these guys seem not only competent, but honest and trustworthy as well. Maybe it was because they suggested that we simply replace a coil after another (less honest) provider wanted to sell us a whole new system. Bottom line - I like them, I trust them and I am comfortable relying on them for my HVAC needs.

Prodigy service is outstanding. Every employee I encountered was fast, friendly and professional. Replacing an A/C is not fun and certainly not cheap but Prodigy made the process easy. I asked a friend who owns one of their competitors to check Prodigy's pricing and he confirmed I was getting the best deal possible. Prodigy even left the site cleaner than before the job started!

Our heater blower motor went out on a Saturday during an ice storm. I called nine different highly rated companies, and Prodigy was the only one able to come that day. I was so thankful!
