Dave has been able to fix issues that other companies either could not fix or would not fix in order to sell a new system. He can install new systems also, but it's nice knowing the old units are truly beyond repair before having to replace them.

I highly recommend Dave Maltsberger. He has worked on my heating and air conditioning systems several times over the last few years. He always responds promptly to my calls and doesn't keep me waiting when a repair is necessary. He is accurate in diagnosing any problem and does what is needed to correct it.

I recently called Dave, responded well and quickly but a total disappointment. He charged me 75$/pound for the 3 pounds of "free on"(225$ excluding taxes) and 100$ service charge (I guess, I can't complaint on service fee which is okay for a Sunday). Later I found out from another repair guy, usually they charge 30-40$ max for a pound of new free-on. ( I also saw it in amazon, 25lb tank is 125$, though I don't care for how less he bought) search for "R410a-Refrigerant-ICELONG-original-Brand" in Amazon.. 1) on day 1, On the initial diagnosis, he found "free-on" is less and added it, but he didn't care to check the upstairs. 2) Later I realized upstairs air flow is not appropriate. while ground floor AC is running 8 hours a day, upstairs AC run 15-20 hours/day with no rooms cooled. On day 2, he came over and said the outside condenser fans are not clean, and made me cleaned them. On day 3 , came and said the air flow is not good, because am using the BEST Quality air filters and recommended to use a medium quality so that the air flow is better. 100% dissatisfied except that he is a resident from the same community, responded promptly and came over on a Sunday. I am choosing another AC repair technician after this expensive bill to fix my upstairs now

My biggest concerns when calling for air conditioner service was who is going to actually show up at the house, how much experience do they have and am I going to get a fair assessment of needed repairs. Dave came in listened to the problem them properly addressed it and fixed it all in under 30 minutes. arrived earlier than quoted, called ahead of time to let me know he was going to be arriving early. excellent service. He had the part on-hand for a quick and efficient fix.

Dave came out to my house this week and fixed my AC. This is the second time I have used Metrocrest and wouldn't hesitate to again. He showed up on time and my AC was blowing cold air again in no time. Highly recommend them.

Our AC was not able to reach temperature so we called our home warranty company and they sent out a technician who incorrectly diagnosed our problem and the claim was denied. I called Dave from Metrocrest and he was able to come within 30 minutes and correctly diagnosed the problem and helped with a solution. Very honest and dependable company.

To me it was an emergency and he was here in less the twenty minutes. Did good work and conscientious about the over flow dirtying my bathroom. I definitely would recommend his service.

This is the second time that I’ve needed him..It was to change filter in the attic. A simple task but one that I cannot due since it is in the attic and my age and balance. He was in a few minutes and efficiently did the task.

Again, Dave came and found the problem and came back today to put in the ordered part. Good honest service.

Dave installed our a/c units several years ago and continues to service them. Just had an issue this weekend with one unit not cooling, called him first thing Monday morning and he was here that morning to investigate. Needed some parts and repair work and was done by middle of the next day. Thanks, Dave!

Four homes over thirty years, and I've never been let down, nor had better service from any home-service-provider than from Dave at Metrocrest Air. He's come straight over and bailed me out of emergencies, he's done repairs large and small, and he's performed routine servicing...all for pricing that reflects that: this is "his" business (and not a conglomerate nor a chain) so he doesn't have to use your bill to fund a big staff, nor shiny mainstream-media marketing. He'll answer the phone, he'll show-up, and he'll simply get it done...and I stopped asking for "quotes" for the job decades ago (with zero surprises or disappointments.) Do yourself a favor...

Dave is terrific! I have used him extensively for my 10 rental properties and personal home. He's reasonable, honest and prompt. I got sideways with Berkey's when they tried to overcharge me, and have used Dave ever since. He's the best!

Dave came out personally to estimate the cost of replacing my 35 year old Trane HVAC unit and duct work. My old unit was for the upstairs and needed to have a special order on the air handler in order to qualify for a 16 SEER rating. Dave kept me updated on the timing of that special order over a two week period. Once the equipment arrived, an appointment was set up and the efficient crew of 4 showed up and had a new Trane unit and duct work were installled in about 5 hours. Very satisfied with the work and Dave's expertise. I have another unit for the downstairs, also a 35 year old Trane which I'm hoping to get another season out of before replacing. Dave will get that call too! First time customer.

This was my first time using Dave's services, and it was great. I requested that he inspect our inside and outside units to find any potential issues. Then he did a routine service on the outside unit. He was friendly and honest and didn't recommend additional things that we didn't need.

Our friend recommended Dave at Metrocrest Air Conditioning Inc. and he is WONDERFUL! We have an older system and Dave has helped us maintain it for years. Great service!
