I cannot say enough great things about Alfredo Ramos from Prime AC and Heat. Alfredo came out on an emergency call during a snowing North Texas day, and from start to finish, he was absolutely outstanding.

He arrived on time, was extremely professional and well-mannered, and took the time to clearly explain the issue. He didn’t just tell me what was wrong—he actually showed me the damage, walked me through what was happening with the system, and made sure I understood every step before moving forward.

Alfredo was incredibly knowledgeable about both older systems and newer ones, which was impressive given the age of my unit. He got our heater up and running correctly, and kindly discussed an upgrade option for the future without any pressure or upselling. He truly worked with me to find a solution that made sense and helped get everything running when it mattered most.

After dealing with three other big companies that did not meet my expectations, Alfredo and Prime AC and Heat were a breath of fresh air. The level of care, honesty, and expertise was unmatched.

Alfredo and his team did a great job and I would highly recommend them. He was honest about the work needed and gave a fair price. He was even willing to separate out the less vital repairs from the major ones to help meet my budget, and they offer a 0% interest 18 month loan if you qualify in order to keep you from breaking the bank. The company I previously used installed a new heating and air system and took shortcuts that not only put my home in danger, but would have voided the warranties on the equipment. Alfredo assessed the errors, showed me a plan to get my equipment up to code, and keep the warranties intact, showed me what they would have to do, explaining everything very clearly, and then showed me my options. I hired Prime immediately and he had a team out the same afternoon and they stayed until 9pm to ensure the work was completed. The next day, they sent out Chase, who came to inspect the work to further give me confidence that the equipment was safely installed and up to code. I even paid for their plan which included filter changes, system checks, flushing the condensation lines, and tweak anything needed to keep my home in shape, which came with a discount for the work they were doing. I trust them and will be using them from now on. You won’t find a company any more friendly, honest and concerned about keeping your costs down while getting professional service. Prime Air and Heat just replaced my HVAC system for the upstairs area of my house. They did a fantastic job from the initial call to have someone out to determine the problem, and during the entire installation. They truly seem to care greatly about the level and quality of their service. Heather took the initial call and continued to follow up with me. She was incredibly professional during every contact. Alfredo came to our house after an initial visit from a technician to look at all the equipment again and discuss options with us. He was very genuine, helpful and experienced. The crew that came out continued to update us on their work and answered any questions throughout the day. They did a great job. Alfredo came by during the installation as well to make sure we were comfortable and check on everything.

I can’t say enough good things about Prime AC and Heat. When our A/C failed in August 2025, they came out the very same day I called. The blower motor was completely shot, and while they offered to replace just that part, they also took the time to explain my options since my system was over 30 years old.

There was no pressure to go with a new system. They gave me a great price on a full system replacement, and I decided that was the best long-term solution. They also really listened to my concerns about warm areas in the house and adjusted the ductwork to improve airflow. The difference has been noticeable, and we’re extremely pleased with the results.

Because of that experience, I had them come back in February 2026 to quote replacing our upstairs unit. Jason did a thorough inspection of my old system and did a great job of explaining my options. Once again, they offered a very competitive price and excellent service.

My new system is up and running in one day. It works great and I love having access on my phone. Anthony came out the next day to verify I was happy and do a final check of everything. I really appreciate the level of detail he went to in explaining how to operate the controls and change the filters.

The cooling season began early here and I discovered that my upstairs AC was dead! I found Prime AC in the Googles and gave their web form a poke a few minutes past midnight. That same morning I got a call asking to set up an appointment with a diagnostic technician that afternoon. I felt positive about this incredible response time, and so Morgan arrived to look at the issues. Well it wasn't as simple as a "start capacitor", but instead were problems with clogs in the refrigerant lines. On top of that, I had a really old system, 20+ years, and it was a "Frankenstein" system with lots of parts from different makers all bolted together. Morgan (diagnostic tech) said he could have a team out to replace the whole thing that evening. Well that sounded too good to be true, so I said yes!

It turned out to be a little too good, though: the techs, although incredibly talented (and one even said, "We're very fast") the job turned out to be HUGE. It was close to 7:30pm and I needed my house back for a function. So I kicked them out with the promise that they'd finish the job the next day. On the way out they promised me, "We're more than 50% done". That was after 3h 24m of work, meaning the next day's would be done in 1h 12m tops, right?

The team showed up the next morning at 9:19am and, given that they were more than 50% done, I expected them out by 10:45am at the latest. Well they severely underestimated the size of the job. It took them another 5h 41m to finish up. I was quite upset and was tempted to dock a "star" for this obvious time mismanagement.

But at least things were cool! Total installation time: 9h 5m.

A third technician showed up to calibrate the system, program devices if necessary, and answer any final questions. It was then I found out I have a modern "inverter" system, and thus the AC can be applied with power proportional to the demand. On top of that, there are numerous safety features that my last system never had, a brand new air filtration device, touch-screen thermostat, iPhone app, and more.

Replacing an entire HVAC system is definitely a pricey affair and has lots of "moving parts", and so you definitely want a company that's meticulous, that double- and triple-checks things, and ensures that everything is done not just correctly but OPTIMALLY. Prime AC and Heating is absolutely that company. I will work with them again when my lower-floor HVAC system goes or for any HVAC-related maintenance.

Now why five stars instead of just four? They cleaned my attic! (I had completely forgotten all the junk and detritus that was up there. But they needed the space to work, and so they had not just thoughtfully but neatly put all the stuff away. Thankfully that step took them less than an hour.)

Thanks to Morgan, Daniel, Edwin, Alexis, and Jarius for all the help—and to Heather and the back office team for managing it all. George, the owner, came out to check on things too, and he's a nice guy with a good eye. I can't think of a thing they could do better (aside from time management). Thanks Prime! I had a pleasant call with Heather to explain my AC repairs needed. She was very helpful and sent Alfredo same day!!!
Alfredo was promptly on time, and evaluated my whole AC ducting work.The system was installed back in 2000, so it was in need of fixing and upgrading. A lot of the ducts had collapsed creating kinks and poor flow, plus 2 plenums had to be replaced for one with dampers to improve pressure and air flow. The job price was fair and work contract drawn. They came next day and knocked all out in 4-5 hours. Shout out to Alex and Daniel. They were the team working on my AC units. Very respectful and pleasant guys. Honest company, well mannered employees, quick response, on time and fair pricing. Highly recommend them.
Update: Senior Tech Anthony came by today to inspect work done and added a missing damper. He explained everything and was like the other techs, very thorough.
Update 2: Today the Senior of the Senior techs, Chase, came to do a once over and address a PVC leak trap line that needed rerouting. He showed up on time like all previous techs. He was very courteous and professional like all the members of this company.
Again, highly recommended.
