Since we moved here at Lubbock, we choose Jay Young Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning to service our home issues and John is so wonderful, very professional, accommodating, knowledgable, quick and very responsive. Whenever we call, you don’t need to wait for days, he’s just right there in front of our door step, soon after. Front desk is very friendly and values our time. They are amazing people. You won’t regret calling them to handle your needs.

Jay Young was able to take care of my plumbing issue while I was at work and called me to get my payment information. It was nice not having to leave work to take care of business at home.

Jay Young Plumbing is professional, on time and honest. They are respectful and do not try to upset you on unnecessary repairs. I called Jay Young for a second opinion when another company said I needed thousands in repairs when I had called for a simple clog.. The plumber arrived on time and unclogged our line in less than 30 minutes. I asked him to scope the line to make sure everything was working in order. He agreed to do it although he thought it was unnecessary as the line was running well. He scoped every inch of the lines and ensured we would be running well for years before any more repairs would be needed. I am so grateful to Jay Young Plumbing for preventing me from becoming the victim of a scam artist.

I have used Jay Young for various kinds of plumbing needs from installing new faucets, toilets and air conditioners, to diagnosing and repairing tankless water heaters and A/C units. Even a slab leak. When you own a home, it's always something! They have always been prompt, courteous and capable. And their prices are reasonable. All their employees have been good, but John is our absolute favorite! Highly recommend.

We called them Monday morning to clear a clogged drain. They were here by 11:15 and done by 12:15. Service was courteous and the job was well done. This is the third time we have used them.

Called at 4:20, Dalton was here by around 5, we decided I needed new faucets so I went and got those and told him I would like for them to be able to come back the next day after lunch. They were very accommodating and Dalton was back by 1 and got my new faucets put on. Very pleased with the work.

I hired Jay Young Plumbing to connect my new fridge to an existing water line. When the service technicians arrived they said it was such an easy job and were embarrassed to charge the flat service fee of $95. It took them less than 10 minutes to connect the water line to the fridge. I paid cash and kept my receipt that reflected "checked for leaks". The next day the bedroom behind my kitchen wall was FLOODED with water from the leaking water line connection. I immediately called Jay Young Plumbing. The same service technician arrived and apologized for the leak and the damage it had caused. I cleaned up the mess while the technician worked on correcting their mistake. I had a flight to catch so the technician stopped the leak and instructed me to call upon my return to "fix" the problem. After returning, I contacted Jay Young Plumbing and they sent out a different technician who ended up running the line from my water heater via the attic to the fridge (something I was unaware that was possible). Upon his completion he handed me second invoice for $375. I informed the technician of the situation so he directly called Jay Young (owner) on speaker phone. Jay Young was extremely rude to the technician (his employee) and hung up on him. The technician asked me to sign the invoice agreeing to pay the additional $375 ( I did not). Instead I called the office directly and asked to speak to Jay Young. I attempted to give him the details of my situation, in a rude and aggressive tone Jay Young said he didn't care and hung up on me. I called the office a second time and spoke with Jay Young's wife. She informed me that her husband was "having a bad day" and apologized for his behavior. I later received a past due invoice in the mail. I attempted to reach out again with no solution as it was my fault that my "house was old". A year later I became aware of the fact that Jay Young placed a mechanics lien on my home for $375. The title company said they had never seen a lien for such a small amount. Long story short....DO NOT contract Jay Young. Not only did they not complete such an easy job correctly, they are downright rude and unprofessional.

First off I have always used Jay Young as they were always great on my heat and a/c needs however used last 2 times for plumbing and has been a horrible experience First time I thought went great but after overcharged me I was still happy because thought problem was fixed however 3 weeks later same exact issue happened again and they don't warranty any plumbing so charged me a 2nd time and almost double the cost this time around also plumber left everything a mess and I cleaned up so I didn't get charged another 1/2 hour for that than I go outside he dripped dirty sewer water down entire entry way and driveway and left it that way for us to have to clean that up aswell I will be using someone else from now on. As for the ownwes reply of nothing but excuses and acting like he was here or has ever spoken with me what a joke you sir are not professional and saying i leave bad reviews lol I leave tons of 5 star reviews too businesses who deserve it Hints why I'm a local guide. Next time be professional and call the customer and get the facts and work out a solution also please don't lie your guy never pulled out any wipes he never found anything what a LIE and yes I was cleaning it up after he clearly said he would charge another 1/2 hour and the jersey left standing water on my floor because he said his shop Vac was broke and being serviced .

Called in the morning and the office was super helpful to schedule me before the end of the day. John stopped by in the afternoon and fixed our water heater. His work was spot on, clean, and professional. He made sure the house was in good shape before he completed the service call. Highly recommend using Jay Young Plumbing, great service, great prices and great professionals.

My air conditioner went out during the summer, when it was 100+ degrees outside. I called Jay Young and they sent a technician out that day. Raymond C came out and did a great job! He was so thorough and explained everything he was doing. He was very professional, quick and efficient. Definitely call Jay Young for all of your HVAC needs.

Jay young plumbing and HAVAC has become our go to plumbing and AC company. We had severe sewer damage from tree roots. Jay, John and their team brought us up to full function again. They kept us informed, were very fair priced and their plumbers were very polite. They did a total makeover on our AC unit, now it runs as it was designed to do. Frankly, there is no reason to call another company.

I have a toilet that I really had a suspicion that a little one could have flushed a foreign object in. My wife decided to call these guys and get it fixed, they showed up maybe ran a short snake and called it fixed because water flushes. $300, seems high to me, but if it’s fixed ok.
Few hours later first time flushing with any sort of toilet paper and it’s acting the same as before. They open at 8am next day, wife calls and they say they don’t do warranty.
Call someone else that actually stands behind their work.

Our water heater was leaking. John came out on Saturday and looked at it and said we needed a new one and luckily it was still under warranty. The following Monday morning he replaced it with new pan and connections. Excellent job and excellent service. Thank You.
****** Here I am, 5 years later and Jay Young Plumbing is still my "Go To" company for all I have needed over these years. From unclogging my son's bathroom sink, to replacing my garbage disposal and regular maintenance on our AC unit.

Couldn’t ask for better service, from the phone call to the clean out. Brandon and Brayden were very professional and saved our Thanksgiving plans this year.

At the recommendation of at friend, we used Jay Young Plumbing when we had new floors put down. Brandon was here multiple times during the week. He was very good.

Trying to sell my house and needed a quick plumbing fix. Scheduling with Talisa was so easy and productive, and my technician, Dalton, was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He patiently answered all my questions, and thoroughly explained what he was doing and why. Will call them again when needed!

We have had someone out to unstop a toilet and he did a great job! He was able to get to us in a timely manner, was polite, helpful, explained problem and took care of it right away.
During some remodeling, we were told we needed to have the old water softener pipes cut and tied off, when I called, Rosie was able to get us help right away. The service guys were excellent, did a great job and had everything taken care of in a short time.
